I was told by my dubstep go to guy that the 3rd one "kicks ass". I still haven't joined that collective yet though. Dubstep just doesn't do it for me!
1.) PiercingSight - Stargazer (Sparkle)
2.) Flutter (Post-HXC Remix)
3.) Bright_Rai - "Fluttershy's Dubstep"

dubstep?
ReplyDelete*checks to see if it's any good dubstep*
#1 sounds really nice.
ReplyDeleteNeat!
ReplyDeleteNot bad.... I approve of Fluttershy Dubstep.
ReplyDeletehmmm... and i thought that dubstep wasn't going to be fluttershy's thing.
ReplyDelete#3 is...beautiful!
ReplyDelete#1 is quite nice as well.
#3 was good.
ReplyDeleteStill waiting on dubstep with brutally heavy bass. =|
I do really like #1.
ReplyDelete#2 sounds pretty good too.
#3 - For a dubstep, I quite liked it.
Those were all very good. And #3 did indeed kick several kinds of ass.
ReplyDelete*rolls eyes* dubstep
ReplyDelete3#- idk not too much work went into it...it sounds just like the original song which i love!
ReplyDelete1. Lovely and Simple. (maybe a little too simple... but who am I?)
ReplyDelete2. Great song and all... but isn't this just a metal remix of Flower?
3. Honestly I don't even like dubstep that much, so I can't comment, because I don't understand it. Hang me.
I really like #1
ReplyDelete#3 is OK but I'm not a big fan of dubstep.
1. Beautiful. I love this type of music. Simply beautiful.
ReplyDelete2. I haven't listened to it.
3. I've never liked Dubstep. The beginning was great until the actual Dubstep came in. I wont judge it though.
no wait...
ReplyDelete2. Is awesome (understatement). I can't hate it for it not being pony. This is a superb arrangement! I also like the annotations. MUSIC.
I love #2

ReplyDeleteI really liked the #2. And for dubstep #3 wasn't too bad either.
ReplyDelete#1- Alright. It's a bit sad, but nice.
ReplyDelete#2- Getting better...
#3- That's good dubstep. I can tell from the intonation and from having heard some good dubstep in my days.
3 is good if you like dubstep. that simple.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6GIdGhxyHw
ReplyDeleteHmmmm is it just me or are there stunning similarities between this and song number 3.....
#2 is epitomy of backround fight music
ReplyDeleteAt #3
ReplyDeleteAre we really just letting people take ponies and put them over famous dubstep songs (Feed Me - Blood Red), then calling it a remix and getting it featured on EqD?
#1 Not too bad, I'm picky 'bout my piano stuff
ReplyDelete#2 Kinda liked it, but sadly not in a rock mood <_<
#3 Dubstep aint my favorite, but this one definitely held my interest.
~Baschfire
@ArtAttack
ReplyDeleteMy god, I just listened to this. Not a damn thing changed.
No one gonna mention the fact that the artist messed up my cutie mark??
ReplyDeleteWhere's the rainbow lightning?
Am I the only one who notices Dashie's botched cutie mark in that picture?
ReplyDelete3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6GIdGhxyHw
ReplyDeleteand from the description for the actual vid under 3:
"Inspiration/Remixed From: Feed Me - Blood Red"
Inspiration means had some burst of creativity and you made something... remix means you changed the song up and made it your own... #3 is neither.
Seth, you should get pre-listeners.
I'm seriously listening to both of these synced at the same time...
Yeah, 3's just a previously released song with Fluttershy sound effects. This is my go-to original Fluttershy dubstep:
ReplyDeletehttp://futret.bandcamp.com/track/im-so-frustrated-i-could-just-destroy-everything
@Rainbow Dash
ReplyDelete...Should've expected that.
Dust fire is spot one. #2 is now pony fight music
ReplyDelete#1. Great pic + great music = HNGGGGH
ReplyDeletethe dubstep is simply this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6GIdGhxyHw with some fluttershy awesomeness
ReplyDelete#1 is vvery well made, but too sad
ReplyDelete#2 isnt quite my style
#3 is awesome, very good dubstep
I love dubstep...until the dubstep part hits... That said, #3 was more listenable than a lot of the other I've heard. At least it didn't use all the same stock samples.
ReplyDelete#3 flutterstep =P

ReplyDeletefollow link,
listen,
welcome to the collective, Sethso.
PiercingSigh here (#1): I've been hearing that the song is too sad... Allow me to explain. First, if you actually listen to the rest of the song, the sad goes away, like a moment of triumph. Second, sometimes looking into space can be a humbling experience, and such is that innocent sound that you interpret as "sad". That's about it. Listen to the WHOLE thing with actual stargazing in mind... or stargaze while listening ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliments, more music on the way, although, it might be a little different next time... ;P
Oh I see, instead of working my butt off in Cubase trying to avoid VST crashes and creating my own original pony-themed songs, all I have to do to get featured is take a popular song and throw a few audio clips over it!
ReplyDeleteWhew, thought I'd actually have to do hard work to get featured on this site!
#3 Blood Red - Feed Me
ReplyDelete-.-
#1 is so beautiful...very emotional tune there. I absolutely love it.
ReplyDeleteFirst was nice. Maybe a bit soft for my tastes, but it was alright.
ReplyDeleteSecond was pretty decent. I'm kinda picky on more Rock-esque stuff, but I thought it was cool.
I'm a little bit of a Dubstep fan. I know, I know... don't say it. lol And this was a good listen for sure. Too bad I don't have the speakers at this moment to take full advantage of it. Pretty good one.
@danegraphics
ReplyDeletebah, music is so subjective that if you lied in the annotations about what you wrote about, to a certain degree, people would still believe it. Right now I am imagining snow covered mountains to this song. It fits so well!
@OverkilliusYeahIknow but it's the TOO sad part that gets me... :P
ReplyDeleteI approve of #2
ReplyDeleteMore things to rock out to-wait a sec... *checks I-tunes and notices there is more pony music that band music*
Whatcha' gonna do, eh?
Listen to ponies, that's what i'm going to do.
We need more metal/rock bronies to get featured.
ReplyDelete@wackyteen
ReplyDeleteThere is no such thing.
@danegraphics I can't say any music is too sad really... music is music! It evokes the emotions it evokes... that said... not sure how people are getting that vibe actually. xD I was just trying to troll you because you don't like modern classical :P
ReplyDeleteThe dubstep one was good until about 1:35, then it's just that generic annoying bass sound that everyone uses.
ReplyDeleteDat flutterstep!
ReplyDelete#3... *face exploded*
ReplyDeleteoh my god. that dubstep made my fucking... ugh, never mind. now i need to shower. >.>
ReplyDeleteThis is mighty strange. :/
ReplyDeleteI would even go so far as to say, WHUT is going on here?
#3 is really a existing song straight-up ripped with some pony overdubs on it?
What's with #2 sayin' he owns the song but not the notes? Is it a cover? If you wrote the song, you own the notes.
When I did "On To Somethin' Good" some asked if I'd taken existing music or 'was just that good at writing country songs'. It seemed like a funny question about a song with gratituously pony lyrics like 'cerulean is framed by all the colors of the light'. Now I understand a little better ;P
Come on, music ponies, be honest. Write stuff from scratch. Ain't our ponies inspiring enough for you?
@OverkilliusHEY!!! lol... I like modern classical, it's just... different ;P
ReplyDelete@danegraphics
ReplyDeleteDo you have a MP3 of this. I would so put this on my IPod
Yeah, Seth, #3 needs to be removed. It is neither original nor a remix. It is another producer's song with Fluttershy dialogue over it.
ReplyDeletehttp://youtubedoubler.com/1V4T Watch that for obvious proof. (Note: you may need to click the "Double up" button a few times to properly synch the song.)
#1 is so BEAUTIFUL
ReplyDelete#2 is good but i prefer the #1
@doctor dapples
ReplyDeleteZOMG Thanks for that link, brony. Now I just wish I could download it! xD
Hm, number 3 isn't original at all. I must have heard this song like 10 thousand times without the Fluttershy voice overlaid!
ReplyDelete@Applejinx To clear things up, #2 is a remake of "Flower/Flutter" by DJ Yoshitaka/Norris3942 for the Remix War IV. =)
ReplyDeleteHow come no one ever actually reads the description to videos anymore? Lol!
#3... what is... the drop is... I don't even.
ReplyDeleteIn otherwords, #3 accidentally the whole internet music industry.
I totally support #1! lol
ReplyDeleteNo one giving love to #2, that was pretty bucking awesome!
ReplyDeleteWonderfully wonderful!
ReplyDelete#1: Pretty good. I saved it.
ReplyDelete#2: *Rolls eyes* I was so far the first person out of 80+ to go to youtube, watch it, and dislike it.
...
#3: N/A
(I passed out because it kicked my A$$)
Sweet baby Celestia I wasn't prepared for the drop in #3. Brb, changing pants.
ReplyDeleteI'm really disappointed with all the love that #3 is getting. It kind of makes you a bit outraged when some random is getting credit for a song that they didn't do....
ReplyDeleteOff of that note, however, I really enjoyed #1, and #2 was ridiculously fun to listen to! xD
ha, i have the original #3, it's blood red by feed me i believe. though this one is much better.
ReplyDelete# 3 yeah it's feed me. It would be better if it was an old school dubstep song.
ReplyDeleteIMO Brostep dosent really define Fluttershy.
I feel like #1 would make some nice movie background music. Especially if it was a stargazing scene, of course.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love Flutterstep. Or rather now I find out I absolutely love Feed Me - Blood Red, but since I would never have found that without Flutterstep that's probably okay.
ReplyDeleteI even made it my ringtone (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17173595/flutterstepring.m4r if anybody wants it).
I've only recently "discovered" dubstep. Can anypony give me some nice pointers with more of this kind pretty please? :)
@#2 It seems like an ironic choice to do a metal cover of a Fluttershy song. On the other hand, I love the ever living hell out of it, so I'm not gonna complain.
ReplyDelete#3 = amazing
ReplyDelete*brohoof*
