@kojirou It pretty much IS that Digimon theme, note for note...
Anyway: 1) Sounded pretty good and I'm not one for this kind of music! 2) As has been said, it's that Digimon theme, but Basch seems to not acknowledge that it actually is and claims it's "inspired" by it...there's a difference between being inspired and just robbing melodies... 3) Hmmm...well, there wasn't enough going on in the orchestra for me! That and the bass was quite overpowering! I sound harsh, but orchestral is my thing! =P
#1: Very nice remix of a song I absolutely loved to begin with. The fact he also included an instrumental version in his downloads makes it further awesome, as I can use it at the next dance. #2: A very nice tune, and even though I don't like slower paced music most of the time, after giving a second chance to truly listen to the song, I loved. This is my favorite of the three, and that's saying a lot considering I loved Party with Pinkie. #3: The original song was great to begin, and this one is no exception, HOWEVER, I can only say that because not much changed from the original. Same speed, same pitches, no new tunes, and even the instruments seemed pretty similar. It just was too similar to the original to really be called even a remix.
Saw 1 before, got it on my iPod XD Kind of disturbing compared to the original, especially with dat image.
2 and 3 are nice and relaxing to balance it all out. I'm sure I recognise some bits of 2 but I can't place it- some people say digimon but I can't remember any of its music other than the theme tune- I never watched past the Etamon arc, I keep meaning to go back and watch it...
First one was a pretty good remix, I really enjoyed it.
More Baschfire, yay~ I tend to really enjoy almost all his material. It's usually pretty fluid, sometimes nicely dynamic. And this is another one of those cases. Another great composition by him.
I'm assuming this one is based off Avast My (lawl) Plot. It's alright. Though, honestly, it felt a bit similar to me. Needs a little more variation. But it wasn't bad at all. I still liked it.

ReplyDeleteI don't really call the third one a remix. it's more of a cover I supposed.
