The first one was almost awesome; it seems like they went to great effort to make a beautiful, complex, subtle song... and then edited a boring, monotonous, overpoweringly loud drumbeat over it that didn't even pretend to match the rest of the piece. It's still good, but it would have been so much better if I hadn't been trying to listen to it through a wall of noise.
I'm late to the party, but I had to say that I love #1 and #3 to bits. I really like the mashup of classical and techno; and on the third one, it was nicely evocative of African music, with some more modern sounds woven in, perfect for Zecora.

ReplyDeleteOooh, I like #1, a mix of orchestral and pop I think.
ReplyDeletea song for Zecora?
ReplyDelete@Lazulic Am I the only one who noticed that? that shes watering a pea shooter?
ReplyDeleteI love #1, and the picture that goes with it is just great, so suiting.

1st and 3rd were quite lovely.
ReplyDeleteThen I clicked number two and my heart exploded in fifteen places. HOT HARPSICHORD ACTION ALL UP IN HERE 8D
I'm going with bellsprout for the image. I thought peashooter had a leaf on the back of his head and 3-4 leafs at the base.
ReplyDeleteAnywho..I'm really liking #1 and #3
I quite like the first one too. But maybe I'm slightly biased. But it's certainly a nicely done piece of music. Chain Algorithm is pretty good.
ReplyDeleteSecond one is pretty good. Little short, but that's fine. It's certainly fun to listen to.
Third one... that African influence. lol This one wasn't bad.
Fry Meme moment
ReplyDeleteCan't tell if Zecora's with a Pea Shooter..
Or with a Bellsprout...
When I started #3, I half expected the beginning of Lion King...
ReplyDeleteDat #2! Wonderful job!
ReplyDeleteHoly crap! I inked and colored that picture!
ReplyDeleteHoly crap! I inked and colored that picture!
ReplyDeleteIs it a Bellsprout from Pokemon or a Peashooter from Plants vs Zombies?
ReplyDelete@Midnight_Star
ReplyDeleteHell, it could be both, the Peashooter to me looks like a Bellsprout.
More ChainAlgorithm is always a good day. I really like the Zecora song, too.
ReplyDeletePlayed all three at the same time... then my head exploded
ReplyDelete1. It felt like an epic battle for the ages.
ReplyDelete2. Lively.
3. Refreshingly beautiful.
I just checked, that's definitely a bellsprout. Except bellsprouts have brown stalks, and a different facial coloring.
ReplyDeleteMaybe a bellsprout thats painted itself like a peashooter?

Dayyyyum. The first one is really good.
