Seen #3 on here before. Also, is it just me or have there been an awful lot of music posts lately? I'm not complaining, just noticing an imbalanced ratio...
Thank you. I'm glad you like them. Through The Courtyard wasn't actually Octaiva Inspired. It actually reminded me of some medieval castle song, which reminded me of courtyards lol. Thats how I got the name :)
Ah sorry, I meant to add that the Octavia inspired songs were seperate from the other ones. The Octavia songs I'm aware of are Octavia's Sorrow, Octavia's Triumph, and Octavia's Uprising. I only know of them since they were posted in a music post here and I listen to every music video. :D
That being said, keep up the good work. You're doing an awesome job.
1 ain't bad - good quality recording, good singing voice, but there's some stumbling over the starts of lines that stands out.
2's composition is pretty okay, but the drum machine makes the average bedroom black metal band's sound mellifluous - was it necessary, and could something else have taken its place? Production in general could be better - the amount of attack on the keyboard (not sure if that's the right term) could be switched up a bit, stuff like that - I'm not a composer of music or anything, so take my thoughts with several servings of salt.
Third one is nice. Sounds like video game or movie/TV background music.
Cereal you need to teach seth how you embed your videos, I like to add videos to my "watch later" playlist when I'm trying to catch up, with the way seth embeds I have to play the video before I can the watch later button in the lower right corner

All of them were pretty good, I think, I don't remember very well right now.

ReplyDeleteI just realized this but many of your songs (AspectoftheStorm) are in my favorites. xD

ReplyDeleteALL HAIL THE POWER OF BACON!
1 had weak vocals, but it's the first Nirvana fan song I seen. So it's great! Glad they chose dumb instead of Smells Like Teen Spirit.
ReplyDelete#1 Didn't really hold my attention
ReplyDelete#2 Aspect is starting to really get my attention. nice to see someone that wrote a decent piano part!
#3 Reminds me of harry potter for some reason
