Now normally this would be Nightly Roundup stuff, but I'm liking the idea. Would you guys want to do something like this regularly over here? We could make Cereal do it, because hes not busy at all with work and school, nope!

ReplyDeleteGIO BRONIES YEAH. :D
ReplyDeleteFound her.
ReplyDeletelol, YESSS!!
ReplyDeleteYay Twilight!
ReplyDeleteSNEAKY! I found her!
ReplyDeleteNot telling where, but I found her! Silly Twilight! You sure that's safe?
Twilights one of the easier ones to spot there, but its pretty neat.
ReplyDeleteFound her! Hahaha I like this idea though!
ReplyDeleteAlso from this post forward, let's not spoil the fun for others, no spoilers please? Let's be nice bronies here.
ReplyDeletefound her!!!!
ReplyDeleteFUCK YES!! I have fulfillment now lol. 2 months and I finally got it.
ReplyDeleteI found her to and she is being a tad daring ain't she? No problem though, Batman is there to help if need be.
Looks like another failed teleportation spell... I'm surprised they still let her do magic.
ReplyDeleteWow that was pathetic, I can't belieive it took me more than 30 seconds to find her. xD
ReplyDeleteYou know what. GO FOR IT!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea. Plus EqD can always do with more events like this.
If you were to do so, I'm guessing it would be once a month? Amirite?

ReplyDeleteNo Twilight! Suicide is never the answer! You don't need to do this, I'm sure Princess Celestia will understand being tardy just once!
ReplyDeleteSo Basically it's like Where's Waldo then? I think that might be alright.
ReplyDeleteI cheated and used zoom :(
ReplyDeleteSilly Twilight, what are you doing in Arkham City?
Batman, you must save Twilight!
ReplyDelete@Tyranoman
ReplyDeleteHave you SEEN episode 3? I would hope someone had the sense to put her in Arkham Asylum
Oh man, that's great, I love all of the hidden things in there, Twilight is so fitting in there!
ReplyDeleteMan, I first saw this article and assumed that there was an MLP easter egg in Arkham City.
ReplyDeleteI'm disappointed. It's still cool, but... man. That would have been awesome.
@Nämahs
ReplyDeleteActually, they kinda did: a girl in the new Batman game will be using her voice!
@Celestia
ReplyDeleteyup now try to find cat woman, she scared me when I saw her, totally wasn't expecting it :p
just beat Arkham City a few days ago, fantastic game btw.
ReplyDeleteI guess I do have to give kudos for not just using the same ol' Twi vector most places use. Clever girl...
ReplyDelete@bobmortar
ReplyDeleteTara Strong voiced Harley Quinn in Arkham City, replacing Arleen Sorkin.
she more or less just imitated Sorkin's voice as it's the iconic voice for Harley.
Silly Twilight, who put you up there?. ;D
ReplyDeletealso Damn, Joker brought some weird people into the Funland.
ReplyDeleteI'm up for this idea - lol at where Twilight is...(don't fall there you crazy pony!)
ReplyDeletewhy half of the characters are gonna be intresting to find
ReplyDeletehaha i guess they wanted to make up for calling it frilly haha.
ReplyDeleteyay~
ReplyDeletefound twilight just above -
nah... I won't spoil anything for any of my little frustrated bronies looking for her ^^
OHP. O___O it's adoring fan... stalking Twilight.
ReplyDeleteI found a Sephiroth, Sack Boy, Transformers logo, A TF2 sentry, Batman, I think that clown is from twisted metal, a Bob-omb, whatever that thing is called from bio-shock, also something in the sky that makes me think of half-life, or something.... and yeah, Twilight Sparkle. I saw other characters all over, but I couldn't recognize them.
ReplyDeleteTry to bring about eternal night? Get sent to the moon, chill for a thousand years, and get rescued by six ponies that want to be friends.
ReplyDeleteDon't turn in an assignment on time? Get sent to Arkham City, get chased by psychos for days on end, and get rescued by a psycho in a bat costume.
Luna's punishment doesn't seem so bad now, does it?
Twilight has come to stop Joker by using love and tolerance!
ReplyDeleteHee ^^ Props to anyone else who can spot Snake (Snaaaake? SNAAAAAAAKE!!) or Isaac from Dead Space.
ReplyDeleteOh, and look out for the surprisingly subtle references to Umbrella Corp. Half Life 2, Skyrim and Transformers.
Lessee, what else? Besides the Bo-bomb, Alone in the Dark, the TF2 Sentry Gun and that damn wolf I can't decide whether or not is from Oblivion or not...
These are fun! With Twilight in there THE FUN HAS BEEN DOUBLED!
I hope I'm not the only one who found here in a couple seconds here. Sticks out as the only bit of purple on the image after all.
ReplyDeleteYES PLEASE!!!
ReplyDeleteoh and
I FOUND HER
GO BRONIES!!!!!!
AWWWWW YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
Awesome! :O
ReplyDeleteTwilight looks out of place rofl.
Awesome! But really easy to find.
ReplyDeleteI saw her as soon as I opened the picture :P
I fully support the idea, sounds like it would be fun
ReplyDeleteFound her in 10seconds flat, literally
ReplyDeleteHnnnnnng, just saw the adoring fan.
ReplyDeleteAnd on a related note, I support your idea Seth.
Twilight was easy enough. I'm having trouble with Catwoman, Vincent and Pikmin though....
ReplyDeleteOh, and I definitely support doing a more pony-centric version of this sort of thing in the future.
ReplyDeletePlaying Arkham City at the moment, when I first heard Harley Quinn I think my mind exploded in ectasy, Twilight Sparkle and Mr J. would make the best couple.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the guys at Gameinformer ACTUALLY watched the show before they commented on it, and realised how good it is? I also think that Twilight being there is a reference to her sharing the same voice actor as Harley. Maybe.
for those of us looking on a phone could you add the spoiler?
ReplyDeleteAh, there's Twilight! Hehe. She's not all that hard to find. Don't even have to zoom in. :P
ReplyDeleteAs for doing something similar here. Hmm... it could be fun. If you guys have the time apart from all the other stuff you're already doing, I'd say go for it. :)
Adorable Twilight is adorable. I think doing this here would be most excellent.
ReplyDeleteThe purple made it too easy :P
ReplyDelete@Cloudynights You did read their response to that letter right? It seemed to me like they were trying to say that they liked MLP without actually saying it outright.
ReplyDeleteDidn't Game informer have a letter to the editor from a brony commenting on how they were making fun of the community as a whole? And they essentially replied that it was still embarrassing for us to be watching a little girl's show?
ReplyDeleteand now they sneak Twilight into a picture defined as gaming only? I'm sensing some closet bronies...
Well, well, it looks like Gordon Freeman has messed with the Bat-signal.
ReplyDeleteTS is having some trouble being Robin for a day, apparently. lol.
ReplyDeleteTook me a minute to find where Twilight was. No matter how hard she tries, there is no way she is getting across that gap without teleporting.
ReplyDeleteI see Lightning and what I think is Raging Raven from Metal Gear 4
ReplyDelete@Twitchy.717043
ReplyDeleteNot exactly. They actually said it was a good show. Apparently they called it "frilly," though, and that pissed some guy off for some reason, and there was some sort of drama about it. Didn't seem like a big deal to me.
Half Life 2 Lamba in the sky ^^
ReplyDeleteThane, you sneaky little assassin toad!!!
ReplyDeleteI see about 27 references.
ReplyDeleteBy Azura! By Azura! By Azura!
ReplyDeleteThat is FULL OF WIN
ReplyDeleteLink seems to be broken for me :/
ReplyDeletePretty good, but sadly I think this is the worst of the game hunts they have done a lot of them are pretty obvious I found Twilight off the smaller image at a glance >.>
ReplyDeleteeverythings all dark and grey... except a particular purple pony sticking out like a sore thumb
ReplyDeleteGreat picture! Fun little hide-and-seek going on.
ReplyDeleteHmmm....
(Crops down to 1280x1024 of Twilight and Batman.)
Hey, I just found my post-Halloween wallpaper!
@CharginChuck Oh Noes you're on to me! *Throws Smokescreen and runs away* Next stop Capital City!
ReplyDeleteBrought to you by Game Informer.
@Cloudynights
ReplyDelete>Twilight
>the Joker
>shipping
what.
That's absolutely adorable.
ReplyDelete@Fluffy, Oh ok, my bad. Thanks for the correction.
ReplyDeleteNeat idea. Didn't take long to find her.
ReplyDeleteI laughed pretty hard when I found the adoring fan though.
Hehe shes so cute ^^
ReplyDeleteHard to miss. she sticks out so much.
ReplyDeleteIs it bad that the first thing I found was Twilight Sparkle just by taking a quick glimpse at the smaller version of the picture?
ReplyDeleteTWILIGHT!
ReplyDeleteand... A FELINE FROM MONSTER HUNTER!!!! AND SEPHIROTH!!
everything great is here. ponies, monster hunter, final fantasy, it's a dream come true!
Heck yeah! This kind of thing would be awesome! Let's do it!
ReplyDeleteLol i found her instantly
ReplyDeleteVideo games and MLP?! F*ck yeah
ReplyDeleteI love that it's crazy Twilight from Lesson Zero.
ReplyDeleteIt took me about five seconds to find her, lol. Surprised myself there.
ReplyDeleteIf you do something like this, I suggest only doing it once a week at the most, or you'll run out of material rather quick I imagine. And I would LOVE getting little games like this regularly from EQD!
Fun Fact Tara Strong who as most of you know voices Twilight Sparkle also voices Harley Quinn in Arkham City.
ReplyDeleteThis probably caused her appearance here.
Things I've found that I don't think have been mentioned yet:
ReplyDeleteIlo AND Milo, Sack Boy, the stylized dragon insignia from Morrowind (shut up, it was in Morrowind first... was it in Daggerfall?), a Star Shine from Super Mario Sunshine, I have no idea who that is in the 'O' of the SioniS Industries sign, I have even less of an idea who that little knight guy holding something above his head is, I have less of an idea than both of those things combined who the blended image is in the metal debris next to the flame-headed clown, a transformers insignia, and is that a lizard from Shadow of the Colossus!?
And who the hay is that in the window to the right of the gate? I wanna' say it's something from Condemned... or perhaps Garett from the Thief games?
ReplyDeletetheres a ball of things from katamari .. on the right....
ReplyDeletePersonally i think this is a pretty lame idea.
ReplyDeleteWell, that was easy...
ReplyDeleteMayhap I've been playing too many sniper games recently?
I found Isaac Clarke..
ReplyDeleteThat's nice, isn't it?:)
@Twitchy.717043
ReplyDeleteI could tell they were closet bronies just from reading that letter. XD
@Cloudynights
ReplyDeleteAre you saying you're on the Game Informer staff? XD
Oh gameinformer, you so nerdbait-while-closet-brony (A).
ReplyDeleteThat was pretty cool.
Haha, my letter to Gameinformer worked! They're slowly becoming bronies!
ReplyDeleteI remember seeing an article in game informer about ponies but I can't find the magazine. :(
ReplyDeleteI found her! You so silly Twi. XD
Batman: Twi, you're doing it wrong. You're not brooding hard enough.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind doing it for you guys... :/
ReplyDeleteIf the updates is reasonably spaced (Say... once a week?) then sure, why not?
Also, I wouldn't want to endlessly look for images day after day, so if either Seth and crew or the general pony public can supply a high rez image they want the pony to be hidden in, I'll do the rest with said pony (have all the episodes in 1080p, so they'll blend pretty well I think).
I'd like to have this type of thing again, since a local gaming mag I used to collect back in the day did it too, by hiding the mags mascot somewhere in the magazine (and making it darn hard to find). It literally turned a single read magazine into a 8 hour bathroom reading event.
Aaahhh... fun times... :D
Although my work doesn't require me to do as hectic superimposing as I did back in the day, I'm sure it'll come back to me pretty quickly. (That, and photoshop has been giving me these really cold looks of neglect) :P
Y'know what's weird about this? In their latest issue, gameinformer actually made fun of a brony that sent in mail defending FiM, and now they do this... Mixed messages, hm. Or maybe they're just implying they want something bad to happen to her.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing. Why is Game Informer suddenly including MLP when before they claimed to hate it? I wonder if a bunch of Bronies wrote in angry letters telling them that they have a huge brony fanbase and to be good to MLP from now on.
ReplyDeleteIt took me a bit to find the Half-Life Lambda until I realized I needed to be looking at negative space. It's also a lot larger than I was expecting, too. Hidden in plain sight, indeed.
ReplyDeleteSuch a precarious place, Twi.
As far as the whole "Morrowind vs Skyrim symbol" deal, I simply call it "The Elder Scrolls Symbol," seeing as it's now shown up in more than half of the games in the series, therefore symbolizing the series as a whole.
I completely missed the Autobots insignia until I found out it was in there from the list. I did, however, find Umbrella Corp.'s insignia real fast. Never a good sign anywhere I find that red and white symbol of undeath...
All in all, this was some Fun Times™. Would do again.
BAM! Found her in one second flat.
ReplyDeleteActually, that would be a fun story. One of the "spell goes awry and sends Twilight someplace nasty" deals. I can see it now... "Doctor Strange, Batman is in sight. And there's... there's a purple pony reaching for him. We know of any pony themed supervillains in the city, sir?"
ReplyDeleteGame Informer has been putting pony references in for a while now. Someone there must be a hardcore brony.
ReplyDeleteI found her in under a second...
