She was only the feature image of last night's Nighty Roundup (though Seth might have derped and thought it was Luna). She was wearing her "Normal eyes" glasses, and was a bit older in that pic, but it was Nyx.
I still feel Past Sins is truly the best and most believable redemption story for Nightmare Moon. If anyone has not read it, please do. It is very much worth it. It plays heavily on the concept that Nightmare Moon was urged from Luna, but still exists, and was bound to the broken armer that can be seen magically smoking next to Luna at the end of episode 2, when she is reintroduced as Luna, and not Nightmare Moon.
Mild sauce, hot sauce, I don't like any sauce in any form or amount in fan art of any kind. Glad there is only two this time.

Thanks for the nice comments on my Applejack painting, bronies! I didn't see many comments on the booru so I wasn't sure what to think! It was a commission in exchange for a couple Pinkie Pie toys, so all credit for the lovely idea goes to the commissioner, not me.
You know, this art flood never ceases to amaze me. The talent is always keeping us awed by these awesome and wonderful works. There are some that would be totally worth mentioning, but I really appreciate all of the hard work put out by all of the artists. Yer works is great, and so are the artists who keep crafting this work for everypony to enjoy.
