aww yeah
ReplyDeleteyay
ReplyDeleteNot first!
ReplyDeleteWhere's the link?
ReplyDeleteI've already tried it out, and I highly recommend it.
ReplyDelete@vvp
ReplyDeletehttp://www.manestreamgames.com/download-the-demo/
Link: http://www.manestreamgames.com :D
ReplyDelete@Brian
ReplyDeleteThanks
This looks loverly.
ReplyDeleteALL MY MONEY!
ReplyDeleteIt's called Manestream games, not Manescream D:
ReplyDeleteWe have a bit of time until halloween.
"Manescream Games" :) Nice one, ED!
ReplyDeleteWill it contain insult sword fighting?
ReplyDeleteAnd will Zecora require approximate ingredients for a ju ju spell? And will the find the secret of monkey island?
Looks great^_^ Even though I don't like such games))
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I can't even get out of the clubhouse... I know, I suck...
ReplyDeleteWow, this is really good! The voice dialog is quite bad though!
ReplyDeleteAnd let me take a look here... yep. It's an .exe. Can't run it.
ReplyDeleteI'm really getting sick of the limitations of a Mac.
No worries, since the demo went up there has already been an option to turn off voices implemented for those who don't like them.
ReplyDeleteIt just crashed when I tried to get scootaloo outside :(
ReplyDeleteI friggin' love this game, but is it even possible to get out of the clubhouse or is this just a demo to get a feel for what it'll be like?
ReplyDeleteChaosDX1 have you tried what is listed on the download page: " Mac users: We’re sorry, but we have no Mac on the team, currently. That said, you should be able to play the game without problems if you install the mentioned Python/Pygame versions, download the Source zip and execute main.py for starting the game!"?
ReplyDeleteIf anypony on the defteam is reading this, could you add the hint system to the future versions ala Back to the Future: The Game?
ReplyDelete@ChaosDX1
ReplyDeleteOn the website listed above you can download the python source code which you should be able to run on a Mac.
Servicerevolver: what were you trying to do that triggered that? I haven't heard of this glitch before.
ReplyDeleteLord Bloomberg: The demo's puzzle is figuring out how to get out, ;-).
We're planning something similar than a hint system, it has to do with the "Crusades" quest system, but i won't tell you more :)
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't like me. I made it as far as the little scroll screen with the instructions, then it crashed. :P
ReplyDeleteWill wait until the official game is out.
ReplyDeleteToo much of a tease xP
Temporal Walker, it might be a problem with Windows 7 - please try to install it anywhere else, just not in "program files" - it's very picky :)
ReplyDeleteViola: The Demo has a custom puzzle and dialogue, none of which will happen in the actual game :) You will not spoiler yourself, promised.
ReplyDeleteconnect flowers to frame... and.... that's it?
ReplyDeleteDumb rock!
@AdawgDaFAB
ReplyDeleteI tried to get Scootaloo out of the window, but while walking up to it she disappeared, the walking sound effect kept playing while this was happening.
Ooooh, we had that bug once and never could replicate it - if that happens again, please mail us the last few lines of the debug window (the one running in the background) to info (at) manestreamgames.com
ReplyDeleteI had a similar bug where Applebloom was walking around the table and then disappeared into nothing.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDelete@dorko4u
ReplyDeleteIf you have that happen again please follow what Buf said above your comment and e-mail the last few lines of the debug window (the one running in the background) to [email protected] . It would help us in figuring out what caused it so it could be fixed.
@Nintyuk Moreover, will it be possible to acquire Pinkie's rubber chicken, and will it have a pulley in the middle?
ReplyDeletePLEASE TELL ME HOW TO GET THAT CLOPPING KEY!
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteplease please pleaseee , i can't figure it out!
ReplyDeleteAB can get the key from the tree but she's locked in the clubhouse... wat do wat do wat do
Awesome! Loving it!
ReplyDeleteAlright, a hint: You have to do stuff inside the clubhouse to affect the key on the outside :)
ReplyDeleteThink about what Apple Bloom does best. And with what she does it best, if she comes after her sister.
ReplyDeleteWell that was lovely! A nice little puzzle thingy. Can't wait to see it finished!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like pro quality!
ReplyDeleteThat was a great demo.
ReplyDeleteI left the feedback in the site, but this demo ran amazingly well! If the entire game runs this good, I will definitely download it and play it. Really cool, can't wait to see more of it.
Any chance for another hint?
ReplyDeletetry using stuff with the environment, not only on other items. It all comes down to physics in the end.
ReplyDeleteI beat it. It was actually quite challenging to figure out what to do to get the key. Very promising, I love it.
ReplyDeleteMy only complaint would be the voice dialog. I know its meant to sound like garbled dialog, but you can still hear individual words which makes it very distracting. I like the idea of it though, if you could make it less coherent so it doesn't interfere with the text dialog.
Looking forward to this!
use apple on window doesnt work
ReplyDeleteuse bucking on window doesnt work
urgh..
Wow, it's been a while since I played an adventure game with a verb coin. Nicely done!
ReplyDeletephysics! how would you get the apple far enough if you place it on the window? search for a better place :)
ReplyDeleteAlright, that was my final hint :P
I'd love to spoil it, but I just can't lol. Seriously, try everything, on everything in the clubhouse.
ReplyDeleteBut Scootaloo won't place the apple in the place where she's supposed to put it! She keeps saying "Rainbow Dash wouldn't do that."
ReplyDeleteI never thought I would sympathize with Cupcakes!Pinkie...
okay, figured it out :D
ReplyDeletethat song was worth it !
Yay SSendas :D
ReplyDeleteWell, just finished it and I have to say, THAT WAS THE GREATEST 2 HOURS OF FRUSTRATION IN MY LIFE!
ReplyDeleteWow! This looks beautiful. I am looking forward to the full version. Keep up the excellent work! BTW, I love what the CMC have to say to each other. Such a fine blend of arguing, lampshading, and advertising. Nice!
ReplyDeleteIs there a point to the flowers on the painting? besides making bad art?
ReplyDeleteIt's the first thing of item-on-item combining we ever did, and we left it as an in-joke/easteregg :) So no, no point whatsoever, really.
ReplyDeleteOh my friggin Kamina, that was painful. Loved the game, but here's a tip that I did not know: you can transfer items between ponies by selecting an item, going back to the main screen, clicking on the pony, and handing it to them.
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, finally finished.
Liked the game. Great animation, voices and music were okay. Music was actually pretty good, but when it's infinitely repeating and you get stuck, even the best song starts to get grating after a while.
Just finished it! It was fun, but tricky.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the rest of the game when its finished!
This is reminding me why I hated point and click games. I've tried everything I can think of and the pictures, hammer, and vase don't seem to be used for anything. Even with the hints from Buf, I can't understand what logic is used for doing this.
ReplyDeleteHell, I even figured Scootaloo would want to break the vase since she doesn't like it, but can't do that either. Doesn't seem like Sweetie can do anything either. >.<
Suddenly... Edgar Allan Poe :D
ReplyDeleteThis is just amazing...
graphics, music... it's all so close to the show.
http://www.mlponies.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=525&start=80#p80215 - Full Walkthrough for anyone who is stuck and the hints aren't helping.
ReplyDeleteAlright. Try placing the painting on a nice base somewhere, and see what Apple Bloom can do with it. Then, think about more streamlined alternatives for that painting :)
ReplyDeleteFound a layering issue but otherwise very nice. When I have more time I'll actually try and solve this deceptively difficult puzzle.
ReplyDeleteBe sure you might miss an awful lot of dialogue and stuff if you straight up follow the walkthrough, there are 400+ lines of dialogue in this demo ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm not even able to get past the command prompt. After I hit any key, the prompt disappears and nothing happens. I'm on Windows 7 64-bit, by the way.
ReplyDeleteSo simple, yet torturing. I sincerely hope that what our favourite little crusaders say about the lenght and contents of this game is true. Discord bless the fandom for doing things like this.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I beg to say that millions of bronies are ALREADY waching you, Sweetie Belle.
Nevermind, I didn't realize I could combine inventory items. Serves me right for not reading the instructions.
ReplyDeleteCute song by the by.
Hasbro should hire you guys.
ReplyDelete>dat song
dashieface.jpg
IT WAS SO FREAKING ADORABLE I SQUEAL'D
Silly Putty:
ReplyDeleteCommand prompt? What? :D
Oh, did you download the .zip file? That's the source! If you have Python/Pygame installed, you have to run main.py then.
Best would be just to download the installer, though.
You dun derped a link, Seth. :P
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing the odd gibberish they're speaking is just temporary? lol It's kinda funny to listen to, but I can see it getting old fast. It'd be nice to have them actually speak what the text box's say. :)
Pretty challenging too to figure out how to even get out of the clubhouse, dang. It runs pretty smoothly. Overall this game is quite promising. Keep up the good work on it.
@Buf
ReplyDeleteI did download the installer ... but I'll try again. Maybe one of the mirrors will work.
@AdawgDaFAB had to use that guide to win, I didn't know items could be combined in inventory. I even tried using the hammer on the other items while in the inventory screen, but it wouldn't let me.
ReplyDeleteAt least I found all the items and learned how to transfer items before I got stuck. Annoying that half the items were useless. Still don't understand the logic about how you get the apple from that item combination though.
I tried downloading the installer again but it still just opens a command prompt. It also says 'ImportError: No module named site' if that tells you anything. But once I hit any key, as it tells me to, the prompt goes away and nothing happens.
ReplyDelete@Silly Putty
ReplyDeleteOh! Well, when the game opens, there should be two windows - one is a DOS box, which runs the debug log for reporting errors, the other, bigger one is the game. Do they both appear for you?
Only the DOS box appears.
ReplyDeleteDid you install it to some specific directory? This is strange, never heard something like that before.
ReplyDeleteI just installed it to a My Little Pony folder in my C drive since I saw the warnings about installing it to Program Files.
ReplyDeleteDoes the same thing happen when you go into the folder and directly open Pony_demo.bat?
ReplyDeleteYou could also try to download the necessary python/pygame versions (as stated on the download page) and, after installing them, run main.py in the /source directory of the game.
Yes, it does. I'll go try downloading the other version as you said.
ReplyDeleteA fantastic job, this. I'm loving how well it looks like it's coming along. In fact, I'm loving the fact that we already have multiple games that look like they'll be high-quality coming out of the fanbase.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I noticed, though, in Sweetie's dialogue at the end of the game: Sowing is the act of putting seeds in the ground. Sewing is what she was probably talking about.
In the meantime, try installing it to the Desktop and run it from there :) It's a long shot, but maybe we're lucky.
ReplyDeleteOh, also: Do you have any Spyware/Virus scanners running that might interfere, or other stuff like that?
For the python files, you'll need
http://www.python.org/ftp/python/2.7.2/python-2.7.2.msi and
http://pygame.org/ftp/pygame-1.9.2a0.win32-py2.7.msi
Installing the game to the desktop didn't work, and running the main.py (after installing python) just resulted in a prompt briefly appearing that also says 'ImportError: no module named site found.'
ReplyDeleteIn your game directory, there are two subdirectorys "ppython" and "source", right? And within ppython/lib, there's a file calles "site"?
ReplyDeleteMan, I'm really sorry, but I don't think I can help you much, I asked Myke, our programmer, and even he has no clue what's going on with your installation :(
That's alright. It'll probably work on my brother's laptop, so I'll give it a go. Thanks for your help!
ReplyDeleteWell, that took me over an hour.
ReplyDeleteIf all the puzzles are that hard or harder, this in going to be quite the game.
Haha I suck at game so bad, the ONE thing I never think of doing after all the crazy useless stuff I try twice is always what I actually have to do. A full game of this? I'm getting days worth of fun regardless of how easy it is. I AM THIS USELESS AT THE VIDJYA.
ReplyDeleteThat being said this looks fun!
This gave me a virus warning why?
ReplyDeleteYou're probably using Norton, right? One of us had the same issue, the file is 100% virus free, it's a false positive. We don't know yet if it's Norton's or Python's fault, but it's not ours ;)
ReplyDeleteI spent so long playing this game that I bet someone posted this bug 100 times already. Can't be bothered to check
ReplyDeleteApplebloom when told to buck the appletree outside says "Now why would I wanna buck that tree when them apples clearly ain't ripe yet?", and the text keeps going off of the paper. That's the only bug I found so far. Great looking game! I was surprised you got someone to SING for the game, but resorted to horrible noise for when they spoke.
Okay I think I clicked on everything in every combination! I found no use for the...art thing I made though. I presume it has no use.
Yup, that one was sent in a lot :D
ReplyDeleteThe thing with voice acting is, we would need good voices for everypony in the game, and we're not only talking CMC here.
And yeah, the 'art thing' is pretty useless :)
Or is it?
Yes, it is.
Oh and also it would be an awful lot of text to read out loud. The demo alone has around 400 lines of dialogue. Now think about a game with a lot more characters and more than 15 screens instead of 2 (and the appropriate amount of Items and background to describe ;) )
ReplyDeleteThat's adorabizzle.
ReplyDelete*places two pennies on the desk*
ReplyDeleteThe interface is too clunky, and needs to be redesigned.
First, there's no need to have a separate window for the inventory. Just place all the items on a toolbar at the bottom of the screen instead. This alone frees up the middle mouse button for other things. Perhaps the middle mouse button can toggle control between the CMC?
There should be no need to "prime" items before interacting with objects on the field. Instead, just let the player drag-and-drop items onto the field. Likewise, combining items should be as simple as dragging one item onto another.
You can talk to or physically interact with objects on the field, but in this demo, there are no objects for which you can do both, and I can't think of any objects off the top of my head that you could do both with. I recommend doing away with the right-click menu, and instead make the character interact with the object in the only way possible.
Now, if there are objects for which multiple interaction types exist, then only display the right-click menu for those objects.
Downloading and testing as soon as possible! :D
ReplyDelete@EonMaster
ReplyDeleteThe apple picture is literally an apple nailed to a picture frame. The hammer is used to pull the nail out of the apple.
Reminds me of monkey island.
ReplyDeleteIt's a good game, but I don't like it that they talk so weird. Why not make them mute, if you don't have the official voice-actors? O.O'
ReplyDeleteMike: You can deactivate it in the final game, we just wanted everyponies opinion so we forced it onto you :P
ReplyDeleteWoo, made it through the demo! I really enjoyed this one. The music is great, the interactions are fun, and the item/action system is good. Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome!! I had so much fun!
ReplyDeleteThis is great, well done!
ReplyDeleteIf you ain't got no middle mouse button, you can't use no middle mouse button. I guess I could try getting a wireless mouse for my laptop instead of using the built-in, but they break so quickly... and I don't think I've ever used the middle mouse button for anything. Kind of strange to see it as a game control, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteOn my Vista, it won't actually load up past the instructions screen. Crashes every time. (If the second window will actually load, which it often won't.)
suburbanbanshee: You don't need a middle button to play the game. If you have one it opens up the inventory, but you can do that alternatively by clicking on the bag in the bottom left or pressing I on your keyboard.
ReplyDeleteAbout the game crashing, did you install it to Program Files by any chance? If so that is why it's crashing, Windows 7 doesn't like it when programs write to files in the Program Files folders.
I had to update my install of PyGame, but once I did that the python source ran on my Linux system no troubles. I love to see that.
ReplyDeleteJust like another pony mentioned, once I figured out inventory items could be combined, pieces fell into place. This is looking very promising. Two thumbs-- er, hooves up!
*talk to the bird*
ReplyDeleteSWEETIE BELLE: I don't wanna do that.
"WHAT!? HOW DARE YOU TALK BACK TO ME"
At first the voice overs bugged the pooh outta me. But then I started to get used to it. While the gibberish sounds annoying and sometimes sounds like something it should *snickers* I actually like the voice over. It helps remind ya who is talking, since they tend to argue alot. PLEASE TELL ME THEY ARGUE ALOT!! It was soo much fun to play this. I had a Pinkie Pie smile the whole time! I still do. I love the music, visuals, brilliance in item usage I cannot wait to be able to play some more. I had no problems other than the outside text from Apples bucking the tree. It ran soo smooth and fluid. Top grade here. BRAVO
ReplyDeleteOFFICIAL CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS GAME STARS! YAY!!!
Oh by the way, I thank you and all who worked on this. It was an epic surprise to find, as well as to play. Wonderfully done, well written, just overall amazing. bravo on whoever did the VA for Sweetie's song at the end!
I like the song very much! :)
ReplyDeleteGraphic-wise and singing-wise ofc.
The rest of the game was great, too!
The puzzles could be a little more logical
Wow! ...That was amazing!
ReplyDeleteGameplay worked well, found no problems with it. It did make my laptop overheat a few times, though, so see if you can make it about 20% cooler.
The puzzle itself felt like trial-and-error; something many gamers aren't too fond of nowadays. I was trying for ages to throw items out of the window, or the hole in the door, but to no avail.
I only realised that items interacted with each other through this comment board. If it was mentioned in-game, I must've missed it completely. A tutorial section will definitely be helpful (if not neccesary) for many players of the full version.
I, too, picked up on the Applebloom text error, but you already know about that, so I'll leave it alone...
"Nevermore" sent chills down my spine. Personally, I love games that are capable of being both very grimdark and very lighthearted (which is probably why I like The Legend of Zelda), so I really love the feel of this game. If this is the direction it takes later on, then I can't wait for this to become a full game!
The final games' puzzles will be far more consistent and maybe a bit more logical, but (of course) still very Adventure game-y :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, a tutorial will be in, definitively.
The interface could use a little more work, though navigating the enviroment was surprisingly easy and enjoyable with the ponies being able to dodge obstacles automatically and what not. Other than that, I'm pretty much sold unless the writing for the final game is plain terrible, but I don't think there's much of a chance for that to happen.
ReplyDeleteDemo V2 is out :) We just wanted to show you guys how serious we took all your mails, comments and bug reports. You can download it on www.manestreamgames.com, as usual. What's changed?
ReplyDelete- No more disappearing ponies! (and a few other bugfixes!)
- The Options menu now has a few more Options (including Voice off)
- The last item you picked up will automatically be 'primed'
- You can quickly change the 'primed' item in the RMB menu by scrolling the mouse wheel, without the need to go into inventory
Alright, that's the important stuff. If you want to try it out, give it a shot and tell us what you think!
Needs a screen resize option...my monitor is not widescreen and I'm not gonna drag the window around constantly.
ReplyDeleteLlyodZelos... Now where did I hear that name...?
ReplyDeleteI claim this post.
ReplyDeleteIn the name of TwiDash everywhere, THIS POST IS MINE!
DEAL WITH IT!
Now to vanish again for an undetermined length of time.
For Equestria!
ReplyDeletePreemptive strike!
And here.. we.. go.
ReplyDeleteThe cycle begins again.
ReplyDeleteNow to celebrate
I always wonder if there are any people who are still subscribed to a post we take over. It would be funny to see their reaction to, what they would assume, random comments on a post they probably don't even remember.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I still haven't unpinned the previous post's tab yet... Waiting for it to cap
@The Great and Beautiful Zelos
ReplyDelete>mfw everything you just said
Naw I kid, but I do hope we see more of ya around.
@ThunderIce
Time to make excuses! I blame lack of sleep for the name list snafus. The first time it was cos I was distracted, this morning I was just tired. Sorry!
*deep inhale* Ahhhhh....
ReplyDeleteYou smell that lads? That's the scent of a brand new post to invade, ripe for the plundering!
Avast, ye scurvy dogs! We set sail and conquer!
@Zerohero
ReplyDeleteLANND HOOO
FOR D-D-D-D-DDD-DEMACIA!
ReplyDeleteWell, that was the last post for me on Nightly Roundup #126.... *whew* that took a while..
ReplyDelete@Millennial Dan
ReplyDeleteNOW LOOK WHAT YOU DID!!! *beats self mercilessly*
Still, we forewent the list last time altogether, so... progress?
ReplyDeleteHow many times have you guys done this..?
ReplyDelete@MissGoldenDragon
ReplyDeleteThis is the sixth post that's been taken over.
I've been here since about the third.
This is our sixth post.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I REALLY love those names you made for me as your last comment on the previous post. BROTHER BEARD FTW. I AM NOW AN EMPEROR!!
I come back from school and why the fuck am I being spammed with animal porn.
ReplyDeleteOh hey, it's you guys. I forgot that I was going to come back here again.
ReplyDelete@Bombedrumbum
ReplyDeleteYES! I was like, "Brother Beard"? Man, that is perfect.
@DeRockProject
ReplyDeleteHeyyyy, it's DeRock! How ya been, fellow Dan?
@MyBoyJimmy
ReplyDeleteOh Awesome!... That's a lot of comments...
@Bombedrumbum
Yes!! Success! XD
Yeah, I had a lot of fun with it :D
@MissGoldenDragon
ReplyDeleteIf memory serves, i've been around since the first comment cap, if not the for sure the second.
Man, where do the months go... :P
Dan Vs.
ReplyDeletesorry, I had to XD
Well, I'm not even joking, I was just thinking about you, Derock! :D
That's great news! Glad you remembered!! Now, i'm sorry that I didn't know what you were talking about when you sent me that clip via Skype (it wouldn't load on my new computer, still working out the kinks on it even now).
@Sir Hero
ReplyDeleteOh wow. o.o
Indeed, they go by quickly, but hopefully well spent. ;)
Hey, Sir Hero, did you see the names?
@Bombe
So, shall I address you as Emperor or Brother Beard? :P
wooooooo new post!
ReplyDelete@MissGoldenDragon
ReplyDeleteNo, i think I jumped over here before I saw them.
What are they? :P
@ZeroHero
ReplyDeleteit was from the pony name generator thing, I believe I am brother vision
@Sir Hero
ReplyDeleteWell, I'll bring yours over here: Emperor Feather, Zephyr Haste, Silver Feather, Silver Hero, Silver Haste
You'll just have to go back to see all of it, though. :P
@Ben Gibson
That would be correct. :)
@MissGoldenDragon
ReplyDeleteonly one for me.... sadface...
@Ben Gibson
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry! :C
If you can give me more of your name, or a special user name that I can use, I can make more combinations for you if you want..?
I actually really like the one it spits out for me, "Nickel Tempest." I think that should be the name of my weird green bat-pony OC. It only gives me that result when I enter my full first, middle, and last name, interestingly enough.
ReplyDelete@Ben Gibson
By the way, the answer to your earlier question is Northern Colorado. Yep.
@Ben Gibson
ReplyDeleteCrimson Vision.. Diamond Gullion.. (using just Gibson for those)
@Ben Gibson
ReplyDeleteCarnation Beam? Aquamarine Pendant? Rainbow Sprint? Northern Blend? <:)
@MissGoldenDragon
ReplyDeleteEmperor Feather, Zephyr Haste, Silver Feather, Silver Hero, Silver Haste
Ok, that's awesome. But which one do i choose?
I'm kinda leaning towards Zephyr Haste. That sounds pretty sweet. :3
@ZeroHero
ReplyDeleteI agree. X3 That one was my favorite. :)
@MissGoldenDragon
ReplyDeleteOOH crimson vision is pretty sweet.... maybe I'm a terminator pony or something! but I might have to go with rainbow sprint... because rainbows are hardcore
@zero yeah definitely zephyr haste
@Dan oh cool, I have a lot of family around Golden and Boulder
@Ben Gibson
ReplyDeleteNice! If you're ever in the neighborhood, we should round up all our friends and ask Brother Beard up there to suggest some good pranks to pull.
@Millennial Dan
ReplyDeleteI support this plan wholeheartedly
Yes! ^_^
ReplyDeleteI shall look forward to that. :D
Yeah, it's cool
ReplyDelete@DeRockProject
ReplyDeleteHey, you're back!
You know what this calls for?
@myboyj
ReplyDeleteAlien invasions
@Pinkie Pie
ReplyDeleteFirst Pluto, now alien invasions... Pinkie Pie likes space.
@Millennial Dan
ReplyDeleteThat video is... fantastic. XD
Thanks to MissGoldenDragon, I have a nickname, and therefore, an OC Pony name. So now I can finally share my OC here with all of you.
ReplyDeleteDrawn by a very good friend of mine, my OC Pony: Zephyr Haste
Well, since we're sharing OCs, I'll link mine again.
ReplyDeleteMy OC is nameless and of indeterminate gender.
Absolutely zero effort went into creating it, as I just clicked "randomize" once on a pony creator.
In other news, who's up for TF2 tomorrow?
@ZeroHero
ReplyDeleteHa, spiffy! I love it!
Wait a sec, let me see here. His cutie mark looks like a headstone... his coat is red... and zephyr is a word related to wind or air, which is often associated with spirits and such... and haste, so uh, die quickly, I guess. It all comes together! Basically.
@MyBoyJ
ReplyDeleteI'll be around for TF2, but we need more players this time.
@Millennial Dan
ReplyDeleteActually, the cutie mark is a Celtic cross, to symbolize my celtic heritage. :)
And I've always had an affinity to the wind and air (despite being afraid of heights :P), so the name is merely a resemblance to it.
But if you want to consider it a quick trip to the afterlife, then so be it. Makes him all the more badass. :3
@MyBoyJ
ReplyDeleteI'm sure i could find the time to play some more. :)
@ZeroHero
ReplyDeleteAh, that makes sense. Speaking of trips to the afterlife and back, I just now saw BOTH your comments disappear, and then immediately reappear. Trippy, all things considered.
Mint OC is Inky Scribeswell... AS seen in every fic I've written...
ReplyDeleteI do like those names btw, very spiffy
Oh, and hi DeRock!
@Sir Hero
ReplyDeleteGlad I could be of service! ^_^
And I gotta say, that's pretty awesome. :)
@MyBoyJimmy
Huh... it's an alicorn. o_O
TF2... I might. If I don't have a whole lot of homework to do, and Daniel sets it up for me (hint hint). ;)
@Millennial Dan
ReplyDeleteYeah. Last time, we had no more than four in total.
By the end, it was just the two of us.
If we could get at least eight of us playing together, we would have a good game going.
*Nudges everyone else*
@RavensDagger
ReplyDeleteYep, sounds quite legit. :)
Yay! ^_^
@Millennial Dan
ReplyDeleteHuh. That is kinda spooky. My OC makes an appearence, and comments myteriously disappear then reappear.
Hmmm..... :P
@MissGoldenDragon
ReplyDeleteI set out to make an awful OC, and I did so very easily.
That thing has female eyelashes, a male snout, a horn and wings, unshorn fetlocks, a mottled coat, two tone hair that clashes horribly with the coat colors, droopy ears, and eyes that look like they have cataracts.
That's at least seven marks against it.
I think the only ways it could be worse would be if it had some kind of antlers or Kanye West glasses.
@MyBoyJ
ReplyDeleteI could get used to Royal Coronet, though I'll need a OC picture.
@MyBoyJ
ReplyDeleteThe one thing you need to complete your OC is a over the top backstory, like she's the long lost Alicorn relative of Luna or Celestia, and he/she/it has unparalelled magical powers that outmatch the rulers of Equestria. :)
Perfect OC.
@MyBoyJimmy
ReplyDeleteHahahaha!!
Antlers would indeed give it quite the comical appearance on top of... everything else. X)
@Trotsky
ReplyDeleteGo nuts.
DasDeer's OC has antlers O.O
ReplyDeleteHmm, my OC has never been drawn before, but it's basically a winged bearpony (see my profile picture). If it has claws, would that count as unshorn fetlocking?
@Bombedrumbum
ReplyDeleteOne of these days, I really want to attempt a vector of your curious OC there.
@Derock
ReplyDeletesup
long time no see
My OC: Duskwisp (surprise with the name!)
ReplyDeleteA unicorn with powers over weather!
@Dom W
ReplyDeleteHey! TF2 tomorrow? 9PM blog time? Almost exactly 24 hours from now?
I got the server working for last time and it was great, just great. There was me, and Dan, and Zero, and Trotsky, and Bombe, and that was pretty much it.
Then it was just me and Dan and Bombe for a while.
Then it was just me and Dan.
What I'm trying to say is we need more people to play.
Fimfictions Featured system is so broken it's not even funny...
ReplyDeleteShort comedt/troll fics are almost all you'll ever find there... and they happen to be written by the same ten or so people... I see so many GOOD stories get only 20 views while those popular authors get a few thousand for 1K of drivel with a half-assed punchline...
@Ravens
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the art industry.
@MyBoyJ
ReplyDeleteOoh I might be able to do that! After I get home from work!
@Ben Gibson
ReplyDeleteFantastic news!
What's your name on Steam so I can add you?
Also, I'm making 9PM blog time every Friday the standing time to play TF2 (or other games, if anyone wants)
Is that okay with everyone?
@MyBoyJ
ReplyDeleteit is.... like7jews... (long story/inside joke no hate)

@Ben Gibson
ReplyDeleteSounds good.
When I got your invite, I thought it was a troll or something with a name like that.
@MyBoyJ
ReplyDeleteyeeeahhhh. long story from some of my friends, although apparently you can change your name on steam?
@Ben Gibson
ReplyDeleteYou can change the name that's visible to everyone else, but your individual account name can't be changed.
@MyBoyJ
