Also, RUN LUNA, RUN!!! Some butterflies ARE carnivorous. They like to drink the oozing fluids of rotting carcasses. GROSS, grosser than ALFALFA MONSTERS gross!!! That butterfwy wants wittle Woona dead! RUN!!! Celly! Quick send that butterfwy that likes bananas to the MOOOOOOOOON!!!
That second comic was made ridiculously epic by the fact that Pinkie would surely have done that, and I was totally able to picture and hear it in my head.
Eeyup. The last panel of the first comic is definately from South Park: http://www.google.com/imgres?q=south+park+whale+on+moon&um=1&hl=en&sa=N&biw=1138&bih=535&tbm=isch&tbnid=CygWUpjGyNZMaM:&imgrefurl=http://drinkingknoxville.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html&docid=ACZK6MMysTc5yM&w=400&h=272&ei=AFKPTpaxK8jd0QGf4pkk&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=421&vpy=164&dur=655&hovh=185&hovw=272&tx=164&ty=112&page=1&tbnh=159&tbnw=212&start=0&ndsp=8&ved=1t:429,r:1,s:0
#1: Full comic at: http://fav.me/d4c2hwl And my favorite image from last night's Drawfriend is expanded into a full comic. Woona hiding under Celestia's tail is just too cute! (Also, props to the artist for crediting Egophiliac, Spongebob, and South Park in her description.)
i'm fairly certain that butterfly is a reference to spongebob. also that moon background is from the episode of South Park where they sent a whale there the whale is just on the bottom
@1: Oh god te butterfly of doom!!!!! @2: She made me play a while after we defeated Dscord...... It was kinda pointless since as soon ad the sun went down we were both stuck outside all night. What was weirder was she didn't move an INCH!!

ReplyDeleteI love the first one, reminds me of the Spongebob episode!
ReplyDeleteI spy Twilight breaking the 4th wall. Her hooves are going through a pixel-wide white border at the bottom of several of the squares.
ReplyDelete@Chill-penguin
