The biggest and only problem with FIM is that the BGM isn't loud enough to hear most of the time, unless you really listen for it. These last two episodes remedied that somewhat, but it needs to be louder. Anderson gets way less credit than he deserves to get, because of how almost un-audible it is.
@Erroneous Just a bit curious, did you watch the episodes from YouTube (or through online sources), or directly from the Hub? Outside sources tend to have a lower volume based on my experiences.
Then again, background music is supposed to be subtle, not supposed to overtake the actual voicing of the show. Background music would have to be amplified when it comes to intense scenes, as dearly noted in those first two episodes in Season 2.
I watch it on Youtube. I also watch the vocal free episodes uploaded by Wingbeat Pony to better hear the music. You guys should too. (ADVERTISMENT? WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?)
On another note, I'd like to point out that I'm a fan of infinitydash and Senn555 myself. If you hear a moment in one of my episodes, go right ahead and ask them to isolate it!

ReplyDeleteBGM, another one of the little things that add up to make this show so awesome.
ReplyDeleteWhoa. I didn't expect the third one to be THAT intense.
ReplyDeleteI never noticed the sound or rattling china before. The effort these guys put in is amazing.
ReplyDeleteGilda's music was so intense! Why haven't I noticed how good it was before?

ReplyDeleteWOW. Gilda just got 30+ respect points from me.
ReplyDeleteWow, Gilda's Threat is unlike any of the other official songs I've heard. She has a very unique personality!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I wonder if they recruited Metallica solely for Feelin' Pinkie Keen.

ReplyDeleteOoh, more BGM!
ReplyDeleteAlso the Gilda-one sounded really badass, never paid attention to that in the episode.
The Gilda one sounds like something from BlazBlue. o3o
