First one was fun, I like these odd little mashups.
Second video wasn't too bad. Made me laugh a couple times.
Only one thing I have to say to the third.. "How many times do I have to tell ya? I don't want no celery!" Hah, but honestly. Alright. I liked the end. ;)
Fourth, another odd mashup, yay. Fun to listen to and sprites at the end. :>
Well, it depends on the complexity of what you're attempting, and your familiarity with the tools.
Once inspiration hits and I hear a piece of music I'd like to 'ponify', I spend about four hours going through it and lining out the shots/sequences I'd like to use. Once that's done, the real grunt work begins.
I use Premier and Final Cut mostly and I average about an hour per minute of finished video if there's a lot of lip-sync, less if it's just simple transitions. One of the projects on my plate right now has 92 edits in the first 27 seconds of video just for lip-sync... Making ponies sing to slow, solo vocals is *hard* if you aren't doing the vectors yourself, but the end result is worth it. Said PMV will probably hit the tubes the first week of December and I think it'll be a game-changer. ;)
There should be another one in October some time that uses live action *and* ponies that is shaping up to be a lot of fun.
But, on average, it takes me a weekend of random hours here and there to go from inspiration to upload - but some of these projects are longer term and take months to get right.
