3: OMG I just found a CD of silly songs that I had purchased as a foal that had this song! 2:Well matched, but not my type of music 1:Sudden genre shift, a mi me gusta
1 - I was loving the Opera piece when to my surprise it rocked off into awesomeness. I love the musical contrast. And the scenes used to depict the contrast were rather intelligently chosen. I especially like how the Discord statue breaking brought the song into the electric guitar part. Chaos was unleashed. Brilliant.
2 - I actually haven't heard this song before and it was a pleasant surprise to hear it. Nice use of scenes to match the lyrics, by the way. I love how you showed the mane 6 hugging or being happy whenever something like love was mentioned and how you showed competitiveness to contrast more energetic lyrics.
3 - This song always makes me laugh. I like how Spike was used to portray the unhappy camper. I also like how fishing and sailing apparently equate to Princess Celestia landing on the roof.
I feel ashamed that I knew the song in the first PMV primarily from Gran Turismo. :x Great song it is indeed though. Video was decent. Though I tend to close my eyes when listening to such music. Unless it's being sung live of course.
Second video was decnet I spose, song was kinda nice.
Hah, good song. It still gives me a good chuckle to hear it. And I thought the video seemed to match decently well with it too.
I swear, isn't there a lot of unfamiliar clips in that third PMV? Like, especially that clip about spike facing that green dragon at 2:10 (but there's many other moments in that PMV overall that I can't remember to have seen in season 1)?
Or have I gotten amnesia and got to rewatch season 1 from scratch (not that I mind of course)? @_@
A thousand brohooves to the pony who sent this in. I rarely use this website so i haven't a clue on how to send in my work. But the fact that they actually noticed my video is quite astonishing to me. Thank you, everypony. I'm sorry to those that didn't really like my song choice. It's just that I am a raver as well as a brony. I will be making more techno PMVs in the future. Thanks, again.
I remember listening to Alan Sherman as a kid on one of my dad's old records (you know, the massive grooved CDs from the neolythic age). That was one of my favorite songs though, Alan Sherman was like the Weird Al of olden days. Now he's been ponyfied! The world really is 20% better now. ^_^
YAY that muddah fuddah one links to Pinkie's Rant about life I sent to seth XD would have sent #3 with itand a few others but I didn't wanna spam his gmail lol; GO SEE IT IF YOU HAVEN'T YET!
Duck Man is awesome, and the pinkie makes it complete!
I've always loved Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah ever since that episode of the Simpsons where Bart is caught shoplifting ("Marge, Is Lisa at Camp Granada?"). Thank god Ireland never had camps like that.

ReplyDeleteaw, I was expecting the second to be Eagle-Eye Cherry. Oh well, still pretty good. So was the Camp Grenada one.
ReplyDeleteHoly Cow that 3rd one was one of the PMV's I've ever watched!

Wow, these are all really good, #3 was pretty damn funny and #2 was an awesome song and was very well done, the scenes were all very fitting.
ReplyDelete#1 was made well, I just didn't care for the song much, in certain parts.

It's official - the Ponykart game currently in development should be renamed to Gran Turismare.

Oh nevermind =_= It's from owl wells that ends well. Oki, personal note, don't try to analyze at 5 AM in the morning, lol...
ReplyDelete#3 proves, once and for all, that Spike is the best pony.
ReplyDeleteAh, poor spike. He forgot to mention the minor infestation of-
ReplyDelete"Somepony, Help! Owlicious multiplied and is attacking the cafeteria!"
...Owls.
This had to happen on breadcrumb arts and crafts day.
Maaaaarge, is Lisa at Camp Granada?
ReplyDeleteThose first two were kinda cool, but the last one had me rolling! XD
ReplyDelete1 was awesome.
ReplyDelete2 was pretty good.
3 was pretty funny.
I'd type more, but Luna is sleeping in the comment box, and I don't want to wake her.
Hahaha. "Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah" will always be a fav of mine and this PMV was done pretty well. :D

ReplyDelete#1 threw me off because i'm so accustomed to GT4's North American intro that this mix just doesn't feel right.
ReplyDeleteOMG. #3. *Huge grin*
