*ahem* Plushie compilation post time, everypony! We're starting up a new numbering system for organizational purposes, but so far as I know we've never numbered these before, so I'm using this extremely clever and not at all a cop-out idea I had. Yup. Allow me to distract you with a pile of huggably soft ponies below the break.

ReplyDeleteDAAAWWWW
ReplyDeleteBy celestia's beard! that doctor whoof is AMAZING!
ReplyDeletethese plushies are so awesome, i wish the actual products. especially the fluttershy and sepia tock.
ReplyDeleteI want a Twilight
ReplyDelete*Asks myself* "Y u no sewing skills??" (سಥ益ಥ)س
OMG I want that dr. whooves one! o.o''
ReplyDeleteinb4 Shadow Clone Jutsu bollocks... Although, I've trouble remembering if that shot was real. It's on Discovery's press blog, correct?
ReplyDeleteThat Doctor Whooves plushy is just... wow.
ReplyDeleteMan! these are so cool! I've made a few Plush dolls in the past... I'm going to try my hand at ponys!
ReplyDeleteSomeday I will be in an odd enough mood and i will a plushie, not that i haven't tried once or twice already.
ReplyDeleteThat's a damn good Rarity.
ReplyDeleteLol, TWINlight Sparkles. Makes me think of a certain commercial jingle...
ReplyDeleteDOUBLE YOUR PLEASURE
DOUBLE YOUR FUN
ITS THE STATEMENT OF THE GREAT MINT
IN DOUBLEMINT GUM!
Also, D'AWWW fuzzy Dr. Whooves...
Great plushie post all around.
Dat Rarity...
ReplyDeletei would demand you immediately tell me the name and location of the current owner of that Rarity plush, but you know what? Fuck it, I LIKE a challenge.
ReplyDeleteTo the owner: PREPARE YOURSELF.
While I've probably had one too many martinis at this point, I still recognize good sewing skills when I see them and I have to say I'm impressed with the hair on that Rarity plushie. Not many people manage to capture her curls so nicely (which is why I personally feel we don't see too many stuffed representations of her), kudos on that.
ReplyDeleteTwilight clones. Doctor Whooves plushie, nice... that's been a long time coming. Hm, the world really seems to be lacking enough Applejack plushies; guess I need to get on that.
@WhiteDiamonds
ReplyDeletethere's also a severe lack of Applejack merchandise that actually INCLUDE HER HAT.
NEED...FLUTTERSHY.UGH, CAN"T CONTAIN WANT!!!
ReplyDelete*explodes from lack of pony*
*explodes from the awesomeness of previous explosion*
They should do an octavia plushie
ReplyDelete@NDupree93
ReplyDelete*salute* I am on it darling. As soon as I get done with this order of pillows I'm currently working on, anyway.
@AXLGH
ReplyDeleteI have had this idea as well. ;)
Yay, I love piles of huggably soft ponies! <3
seriously these are always "I only have one and it's up for auction" kinda deals, get on it Hasbro! we ALL want plushies, not just the richest guys who can spend 300$ on one. Seriously on the my little pony facebook page, when they asked what we wanted for merchandise, these were the top three in no particular order
ReplyDelete1 DVD release of season 1
2 Plushies of Fluttershy and others(I mostly saw Fluttershy)
3 Soundtrack of season one.
rage over....THESE ARE CUTE *sqwees* SO MUCH WANT :D
To Whomever is bidding on that rarity: I've got a paycheck to blow on this.
ReplyDeleteWow, that plushie of me looks goooooooooooooood!!! 20% cooler thansome of Hasbro's work, but not AS cool as this one plushie of me WEEKS ago. Still awesome job!
ReplyDeleteEvery single plushie in this compilation is amazing. The only reason that Fluttershy with the butterfly isn't #1 on my want list is the madmax comic from earlier today that involved two Twilights.
ReplyDeleteSimply. Amazing.
Man, this fandom has some really great and crafty artists! I wish I could just give such a big hug to these guys.
ReplyDeleteWell. Done.
the twilights must read 2 books at once
ReplyDeleteI've been pursuing a whole bunch of Insanity Wolf recent;y, anonymous bidder of Rarity plush, so I am a seething maelstrom of dream-crushing rage right now. You. Will. Not. Win.
ReplyDeleteNot nearly enough love for the Braeburn plush. I would buy it for sure.
ReplyDelete$200? More like Too late, I'm flawless?
ReplyDeleteOh silly alcohol. I see now that Rarity-plushie's mane and tail aren't actually sewn that way but rather crafted from wool, something that I hate to say I'm not very familiar with (I know how to card and spin wool, but that's about it unfortunately).
ReplyDeleteEven still, it shouldn't be too difficult to actually sew the curls into the same formation, I wouldn't think.
I want a Twilight plushie so badly...
ReplyDelete@WhiteDiamonds
ReplyDeleteEeyup - I would say it's more like 'sculpting.' The most important part was the reinforcement; otherwise you'd be stuck having to constantly reset/fiddle with the shape every time you moved it.
But seriously, ya'll - thanks for all the kind comments! And good luck to the bidders! Kind of sucks to part with her, but I need the $$ more, unfortunately.
If I had money, I'd get that Braeburn and chase my friends around going "Aaaaapalooosa!"
ReplyDeleteI want that Fluttershy. She looks so adoreable, I want to hug her
ReplyDelete@Leathercraft Pony
ReplyDeleteOoh!! And just how do you go about reinforcing the structure as you sculpt it, if you don't mind my asking (and if you happen to read this, hopefully)? As I said I have virtually no experience with that process and am quite curious how you manage it!
Also good luck on your auction. While I'd love to be able to win her myself (and help you out in the process), I understand all too well about your monies situation! Unfortunately.
yay!! plushies look great, definitely love Fluttershy <33
ReplyDeleteI WANT THEM
ReplyDeleteI WANT THEM ALL
*laughs evilly*
I look at all these fan made plushies and wonder why Hasbro doesn't try making some of their own.
ReplyDelete@WhiteDiamonds
ReplyDeleteHey thanks, I really appreciate that =) I basically used... da magicks! ;)
Usually I give away my secrets if I learned them online, but I came up with this myself ^^
@Leathercraft Pony
ReplyDeleteOh... I see. But of course, trade secrets and all; must keep a step ahead of your competition! I understand.
And, well, yes, you're quite welcome! ^_^'
DOCTOR WHOOVES! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR *Boom*
