Ah, yes. Season one... I never got to participate in the revelation of new episodes. Here's hoping for an exciting Season Two with all the community involved.
It's one of those "it's still with us, and is taking a back seat for now, but we still really really enjoy it and are going to remember it" kind of things.
#3 can hurt, but it isn't about the end to me. Instead, it's about how we must move on from the past. It will always hurt to say goodbye, but the memories will be with you forever. But there's more out there for us, waiting to be discovered. We must remember the past, but keeping moving toward the future.
I have spent so much time invested into the world of FiM and it's fanbase, and I don't have a single damn regret. I'll always treasure the magic that was season 1, and how it changed our lives so much. Now, we look to the future for what surprises await us.
It's not the end my friends, it's a new beginning.
Seems odd to be saying "Farewell" to season one...
I mean it's not like it's GOING anywhere. And if we're saying we're sad that season one ended well... I thought we took care of that little issue back in early May?
The last song is Hoppipolla by Sigur Ros - it's one of my favorite songs of all time and never fails to get me really emotional, even without a video behind it. Really liked the video - good job.
Nonsense, we'll probably blend the 2 seasons, because some parts aren't replaceable. Sonic rainboom probably won't happen again, trombone pinkie, stuff like that. Positive thinking, people.
That 3rd one reminded made me think once more about the awesomeness of MlP : FiM. I mean remember, it's just a goddamn kids show about some goddamn ponies, and yet that show inspired a lot of us and brought forth things so deep within ourselves. Never been one for religions etc. but I've always considered humanity has hidden potential, and coloured ponies brought us the enlightment we awaited. Farewell season 1! Hello season 2! Onwards to a glorious new era of ponies!

ReplyDeleteSame here! I'm really looking forward to being there as each new episode comes out, since I never got the chance with the previous season.
The Last Vid... maybe we'll have so much nostalgia
ReplyDelete#1 was good, though I prefer 8 bit's to 16 bit's.
ReplyDelete#2 was good, liked the beat to it.
I really liked #3, it was pretty dramatic and sounded like something that would be played as someone is triumphing through something.
That last one made me cry...
ReplyDeleteYTPMV are confusing as hell. This one was no exception.
ReplyDelete@Torchman
ReplyDeleteGlad I'm not the only person that felt this way. Gonna be awesome discussing episodes as they come out
That last one should be put on the Hub as a trailer for this new season

Oh god that last one was not very good. The other two were great though.
ReplyDeleteWhat song was the last one anyways?
Why is 3 so damned sad for me, I mean its not like we are just going to forget season 1. But yet I still teared up.
ReplyDeleteNow that's how you send the first season off! With a post full of music!
ReplyDeleteThat last video... Brought a manly tear to my eye, and that's the truth.

Sigur Rós and ponies.
ReplyDeleteAll my love, take it!
Wow, the first song on here makes me think of the ending music to Sonic 1. Pretty awesome!

ReplyDeleteI managed to dyslexic the second video's title as
ReplyDeleteMagic -- Trixie is awesome
...not that I'd be surprised to see a video like that posted here. :D

Man, all of a sudden Season 1 feels like old news. Like ho hum, been there, watched it a million times. Now it's new ponies!
ReplyDelete3rd one brings tears to my eyes!
ReplyDeleteSeason 1 is not gone. It will always have a special place on my hard drive for when days are just getting too gloomy.

Holy Crap Sigur Ros!
ReplyDeleteI love sigur ros
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how much emotion can come from something like #3. Bravo to that Youtuber, and I welcome Season 2 with open arms!
ReplyDeleteTrixie would've beaten Twilight in a bare hoof boxing match if they would have been able to go at it.... just putting that out there.
ReplyDeleteDamn you! Stop making me cry #3!
ReplyDelete@wackyteen Well it's going off youtube, thanks to "HABSRO Inc."
ReplyDelete#3
ReplyDeleteNo, Sigur Ros, you can't take my S1 from me no matter how sweet you sing. And for that matter, I'd very much rather you sang the whole song.
#3 kinda reminds me of Smiles and Tears from earthbound.
