ReplyDeleteI applaud the BG music people for this awesome music.
ReplyDeleteyeah the BG music is amazing for this show its not just the same tune for leaving a scene or changing scenes there is actually unique music for situations
ReplyDelete"A New Hope"
ReplyDeleteI see what you did there.
All the music is just fantastic if you ask me
ReplyDeleteIf someone thanks Daniel Ingram for this I will commit suicide on the spot.
ReplyDeleteWould you like a chocolate milk of glass?
ReplyDelete#1 is really intense, #2 is nice, #3 Star Wars, enough said,#4 was the part that made me hate Discord as a villain, but love him as a character, #5 is just well done in general.
ReplyDeleteIt's always fun to listen to the BGM music. And the FiM BGM tracks are so well done and simply enjoyable to listen to. Absolutely love'em! :D
ReplyDeleteHoorah for season two background music, I was waiting for these. All are awesome.
ReplyDelete@Erroneous
ReplyDeleteoh, really? *thanks Daniel Ingram*
It's nice being able to listen to just the background music and being able to hear just how awesome each one is, since most of the time it get's overshadowed by the voice acting or other sound effects.
ReplyDeleteHaha "A New Hope"
ReplyDeleteWell that confirms it if it wasnt obvious enough already ;).
Also, Epic soundtrack is Epic.
William Anderson, the composer for the background music, is an absolute genius. He is one of the many reasons why this cartoon is awesome.
ReplyDeleteYou wouldn't really expect this level of epic music from a cartoon, but there you go. :)

ReplyDeleteTeardrop that turns into a broken heart.
ReplyDeleteFour isolated xylophone notes.
*dies*
Wow, these are all awesome... and all from such great scenes!
ReplyDeleteHowever, I truly love that whole Rainbow Dash sequence. Once someone pointed out the "Jaws" similarities in the episode talkback I've loved it even more.
I love these background music videos. I hope they do one with the music during Twilight's letter reading scene (and the similar music when she casts the memory spell on Applejack). The background music made those scenes so moving.
ReplyDeleteIs it just me? Or does Rainbow Dash being restored always send a chill up your spine when the horns kick in.
ReplyDeleteSo triumphant and moving, sounds like something Patrick Doyle (Thor, Eragon, Harry Potter 4) would compose.
Awesome music!
Can't wait until I get home to listen to these!
ReplyDeleteStupid school system blocking youtube.
bucking dash is cutest dash <3
ReplyDelete@Senn555 That's why he said it, dude.
ReplyDeleteWow. you never really notice it (i dont anyway) but the bgm on mlp is REALLY good. Symphony-orchestra good. Maybe not quite that but still.
ReplyDelete@Senn555
ReplyDeleteI know that. And I am so sick of people forgetting him. Thats why I said "If anyone thanks Daniel Ingram for this, I will kill myself on the spot." William works so hard and gets so little credit, it disgusts me. The other day people were thanking Daniel for soundtrack that played at the credits, and I flipped on them. Seriously, I'm sick of William getting the shaft from this fandom.
@Erroneous
ReplyDelete*facepalm* I totally misread your comment, I apologize. It seems to be one of those days for me - I'm glad we are both on the same page, at least!
@Erroneous
ReplyDeleteI went and deleted my original comment as well. Man do I ever feel stupid, again, I'm really sorry. I hope I can make up for that when I upload my next Will Anderson BGM rip in a couple of days.
@Senn555
ReplyDeletehaha, no problem. William Anderson is best pony. (I hope ED does an interview with him someday)
Hmmm... that first one's missing something... but what?
ReplyDeleteUgh! I can't figure it out! I think it starts with a 'mewing' and ends with an 'umbrella', but I just can't seem to put it together!
Grr! This is going to drive me crazy all week!
More BGMs from Will Anderson himself! All around awesome. :)
ReplyDelete@Erroneous
Equestria Daily has already conducted an interview with him:

ReplyDeleteI can not express how amazing the BGM for this show is.
ReplyDeleteHa! Notice Pinkie looking at the camera right after she touches down, in the last vid. She's so meta. :)
ReplyDelete@Lord Derpington
ReplyDeleteI feel the same. this was the most epic moment of episode 2. I almost cried in joy. I really hope someone makes this as a downloadable sound, right now I am looping it with http://bit.ly/rlogh7 (or letter reading scene: http://bit.ly/nShnQe ). William Anderson is genius.
This show would not be the same without this quality of background music, no doubt about that.
ReplyDeleteSometimes, I wish real life had BGM...
MLP:FiM music is overall awesome. Ingram and Anderson know what to do and they know how to do it in best quality.
ReplyDeleteWilliam Anderson's BGM to the finale is simply incredible, and it deserves a full orchestra. I can't get it out of my head.
ReplyDeleteRainbow Dash Restored is so freakin epic...
