"Welovefine has started the greatest craze ever with that shirt" Are you trolling Seth? xD
I'm not into steampunk, but I do know its been around for decades, and some people are really into it. Saying it was started a few weeks ago by a t-shirt company is like poking at an bee hive with a stick.
#1 Gotta love cupcakes and this isn't an exception. So sweet and tasty! #2 Luna is best pony, so Luna music must be best music right? right?! I'm liking this a lot. #3 Awesome song is awesome.
Well, #1 certainly wasn't like Rainbow Factory, but it was still a cool steam-punk'd version of Cupcakes.
#2 was good, it melded between parts perfectly by changing one instrument at a time to make it crescendo to the darker/heavier parts, then have the power dwindle away by removing some of the instruments/sounds.
#3 I thought it was cool that I could tell that the same person made this one and #2 without having looked already. I really like the style of TheSweetestBelle, I hope to hear more from you.
Everyone who likes the second two listen to the other song on TheSwettestBelle's channel. It's awesome. I really like this person, She should totally make more.
Oh, silly, Seth. Steampunk was a huge craze, even among many Bronies before WeLoveFine debuted that shirt. :P Though perhaps that shirt inspired more to ponify steampunk.
Like the first song, that was pretty nice. Had a little bit of that cool steampunk feel to it. :)
Second was cool little piece.
Third wasn't as much up my alley I suppose. But I thought it was decently well made too.
I'm not gonna lie - DrDissonance1 has just rivaled Makkon for my new favorite brony composer. "Night Shift at the Cupcake Factory" and "Art of the Industry" are so epic that words cannot describe them.
I shall proudly play either theme the next time I hatch a sinister plan. Muhahahaha. >:3
If there ever was a war between Luna and Celestia, Luna would win sheerly by the amount of awesome music she has dedicated to her. This and For the New Lunar Republic blow me away.
Dissonance has really impressed me with this one. It's got so much atmosphere.
I haven't heard any music from TheSweetestBelle before, and these are both really good introductions for me.
I always worry when I see a song's title that would lead me to think it's a rock version of the song, which are usually not the best quality blah blah... but nope, that was ace.

I hope Cupcake factory is something like Rainbow Factory
ReplyDeleteI'm not all that into steampunk myself, but I love some of the stuff along its lines.
ReplyDeleteI had an eargasm when I heard Cutie Rock crusaders.

@Nämahs I'm pretty sure he means Steampunk ponies... not Steampunk in general.
ReplyDeleteNext we need steampunk ponies in SOCKS and SWEATERS! With Discord in there somewhere.
ReplyDelete1 reminds me of Gnomergon in WOW. I cant believe I just said that...
ReplyDeletei love the first one

ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure he's talking about steampunk ponies, not steampunk itself.
# 1 would fit great in a game like in the evil lair or something
ReplyDeletei really liked all 3.
ReplyDeleteSteampunk Makes me wanna play Arcanum again (so damn buggy though).

ReplyDeleteYo GurfCake, I'm really happy you like it, and I'mma let you listen, but I'm a guy.
Sweetie Belle is just best pony is all.
'Nuff said.
@TheSweetestBelle lol
ReplyDeleteCan't tell which is my favorite out of the three... maybe 1 or 2... forget it. Like ALL the videos!
ReplyDeleteNow to complete the steampunk trend, all we need is a crossover with Cherie Priest's steampunk zombie book Boneshaker...
ReplyDeleteI. Love. Lunar. March.
ReplyDelete@the rarest pony
ReplyDelete*Brohoof*
@Nämahs He means steampunk PONY.
ReplyDelete#2 and #3: They. Were. Awesome.
