The first one sounds familiar. If it wasn't posted here already, I must've heard it from somewhere else. Curse these ponies, they're everywhere! But I really like that first song, really nicely made. And in 4 hours no less.
The Twilight and Discord themes seemed decent. They both seemed to fit the characters.
That Beard Remix. lol I quite liked it. And how can I dislike anything with softly partying Fluttershy in it? :3
Last song is pretty hardcore. lol Maybe a bit too much for me, but I still think its cool.
@Dr. Robotnik I had to lol/cringe at the "I don't support shipping, guys!" comment on number 1; releasing a well-done, tongue-in-cheek song filled with drug references, "futashy" and "stupid sexy twilight" and then opening with a vehement reminder that you don't support shipping would be like an episode of the Chapelle show starting with an on-screen notification that the acts featured therein are meant for humor only and in reality racial tensions aren't funny at all. Kind of shooting yourself in the foot there (And that's ignoring the fact that "shipping" and futashy/other off-color elements of the "clop" scene have about as much to do with each other as Dave Chapelle and Martin Luther King Jr). I appreciated the song when it was released in remix war 4, and I shall continue to do so despite Michael Arellano's awkward jokemurdering and conflation of sub-subcultures. GOOD DAY.
@Block Comment It's true, I don't like Shipping at all. Listen, what ended up happening is that DerpyGrooves sent me the lyrics 1 DAY before Remix Wars ended, I didn't have time to ask him to remake the vocals. I had no choice but to put them in. Even though it has shipping, I still absolutely LOVE the song, lyrics and all. It's not bad shipping at all. And this is coming from me, who hates shipping. Also, thank you everypony who likes my song, It's much appreciated ;) -Michael Arellano
@Michael Arellano(mrpickle) Uh, what Block Comment was saying was that a lot of the lyrics have little-to-nothing to do with shipping – ROMANCE – at all, but rather base carnal impulse. And it was meant as a joke (which I fail to get, so the entire song had me cringing, but whatever).
Both of Coleknows's compositions were great, but "Fluttershy's Modelling" was entirely too crunchy and artlessly synthetic to my taste. Even the heavy heavy metal sections of "Chaos, Confusion, & Evil" were more tuneful. I like my music to have a tune.

ReplyDeleteNightmare can really drink. What she drank, I have no idea, but she just drank bottle after bottle after bottle. Then she got real fun!
Then she threw-up and fell asleep.

The Fluttershy one is great party style remix. Party soft indeed.
ReplyDeleteThe Discord one rocks extremely hard for except 2:43 - 3:01 that little bit needs work. I especially liked the interlude at 2:09.
