Industrial Rarity is now my favorite pony. She sounds awesome, and that song is awesome.
1.) Art of the Industry (Rarity IS Industry)
2.) General Mumble - She's a Pony ("He's a Pirate" pony cover)
3.) PiercingSight - Stairway to Madness (Diane)
#1 was pretty neat, though I don't get the reference. (I'm such a failure at nerdom, I don't even get half the references in Pony stuff these days.) #2 was eh. #3 I really liked, maybe it's just 'cause I'm a sucker for the piano, but that might have to go on my NaPoWriMo playlist.
Every single one of these is awesome. My favorite has to be the first one, simply due to my near obsession with steam technology, and steampunk in general. Great selection, Seth, keep up the good work.
Oh, my, I remember how much I loved that 'Rarity IS Industry' picture when I first saw it posted on Drawfriend, and that music is simply perfect for it! I am continually impressed by the talent within this fandom. The others were very nice as well; I especially liked the use of the rain sound effects in the third.
Industrial Rarity is sadly reminding me that I also need to go get ready for work now... sigh.
Love Art of the Industry! I've always loved that "Industry" theme of music like in "Factory Exploration" and "Fear Factory" (From Kirby 64 and Donkey Kong Country respectively)
I'm Piercing sight. Just a note on how it was made. It's based on the 10 seconds that played after her hair deflated, I made the connection to Led after listening to both songs back to back (They were even in the same key!). So yeah. The second part is based on the party scene.
One and Two were just amazing, Three didn't really seem very pony, I don't know if I just wasn't paying attention, but I didn't notice any pony at all.
Ah, someone made a song to kinda go along with the Rarity IS Industry image, very nice. Love that pic. The song is pretty decent. Has that old industrial feel to it with the sound effects and such.
Second one was alright. Has a nice flow to it I thought.
Third was nice and soft. I liked it, if not mostly for the rain sounds since I love the tranquility in the sound of rain. :)
#1 was pretty cool, I liked the darker theme it had without it having anything to do with Cupcakes. The music along with the picture for it make me think of this song being played during the pony's industrial revolution.
I really liked #2, the beat to that Pirates of The Caribbean song can be made really dramatic/intense but it is also an excellent one for being ponified.
#3 could very well be used in one of those video comics that some people have made like playing the song from Up during that Dash comic where shes looking back on her past and dreams. This one was also dark/sad so I guess that was the theme for this post. This really should be a song used with one of those video comics.
I really enjoyed #1.. sort of stuff I haven't heard much of around here.
Number two, well, yeah it's alright I guess ;p
I haven't heard #3 yet. Well, I started listening to it, then I though I'd compare it by listening to Stairway to Heaven, then I got sidetracked onto other videos. Shame on me.
I gotta say, #2 is good, but I'd prefer a version without the lyrics. Pinkie singing about the gala seems to clash with the epic Pirates theme, in my opinion.
#1 - Loved it. Of course, I'm a huge sucker for the industrial percussion noises. I don't know why, but I love them. Anyways, awesome song.
#2 - Pretty neat. I love He's a Pirate, and having it ponified... awesome.
#3 - This one was probably my favorite of these. Fairly short, sad, and beautiful. I thought it was amazing. I've always liked minor pieces, and this just reinforces that feeling. (I especially love the background effects that just add to the song. Wow.)
The Grand Galloping Galleon is the best place for me?
(Thank ya GarlandFraser on youtube!)
Well, really liked #1 (very nice use of Art of the Dress), probably my fav from the three.
#2 was General Mumble... He is awesome, he kicks ass, nuff said.
#3 was very well produced. Nice use of Stairway to Heaven and even nicer use of originality - especially on those eerie and dissonant tones near the ending.
#1 was great, while hearing it, I could totally see the working men at the production chain, Rarity overseeing it all etc. #2 was cool, better than the average, but nothing made it really outstanding in my opinion. #3 was... that kind of music that, when you hear it, you just close your eyes and drift away while it lasts... awesome

ReplyDeleteisn't that rarity is industry one the same poster as reaver is industry (fable 3) only with ponies?
ReplyDeleteFable 3 Was Meh...
ReplyDeleteBut Ponies Make It Better!
"Rarity Is Industry" is amazing O.o
ReplyDeleteSomeone needs to write lyrics for the Rarity IS Industry one.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Ponies of the Caribbean(She's a Pony) is quite good.
Didn't like #3
I'm going to have to add the first one to my minecraft music rotation. XD
ReplyDeleteMore like.... STABLE 3
ReplyDeleteAll good, if you ask me. #3 is almost creepy though...
ReplyDelete#3 is... amazing...
ReplyDeleteVery nice music.
ReplyDeleteShe's a Pony is my favorite; I just can't get enough of Pinkie's singing in it and the whole thing just flows so well for me.
I had been listening to she's a pony far too much and i had *almost* forgotten about it and now its back in my head. Damn you.
ReplyDeleteReally liked #1 too.
#1 was pretty neat, though I don't get the reference. (I'm such a failure at nerdom, I don't even get half the references in Pony stuff these days.)

I will never be able to hear the Pirates of the Caribbean theme again without mentally adding those lyrics.
ReplyDelete@NDupree93
ReplyDeleteIt's a reference to Fable, the third one to be exact.
All sooooo disturbingly awsome.
ReplyDeleteMy spine is vibrating.

ReplyDeleteThose were pretty good, especially #2. The third was a bit creepy, though.
ReplyDeleteheard #1 before but 2 and 3 were new and awesome
ReplyDelete2nd one is amazing
ReplyDeleterarity one cracked me up
ReplyDeleteNice covers from the first two!
ReplyDeleteDat 3rd video! I also liked the first one. Both are very well composed.
ReplyDelete#1 reminded me of Chris Vrenna's score for American Mcgee's Alice
ReplyDelete#3 simply brilliant use of atmosphere=D
Aww... I was hoping that was a Tom Jones thing...
ReplyDeleteSecond one made me think of 'You Are a Pirate', and then I was depressed when it wasn't.
ReplyDeleteSeth, is #1 another example of Steampunk/Industrial weaseling its way into your good graces? If so, excellent.
ReplyDeleteThat Rarity picture is amazing, I love all the war propaganda pics, anyone know who the artist is?
ReplyDeleteNumber 1 is pure genius! Number 2 is reallt great too.
ReplyDeleteAnd number 3 wasn't really music, but good though.
Never liked Led Zeppelin that much... But #3 is still disturbingly beautiful. Even if it is a spin-off of LZ's "Stairway To Heaven."
ReplyDelete#1 was pretty good.
ReplyDelete#2 was awesome.
#3 is best pony.
I really liked all 3 of these, which almost never happens. Gratz to all the creators of these videos
ReplyDelete#2 is really catchy! #1 and #3 are quite good too.
ReplyDeleteLove Art of the Industry!

ReplyDeleteThere you go.
Is hoping for a Fable 3/MLP crossover. It would be awesome.
ReplyDelete#1 is awesome

love that rarity one! everything is better steampunk
ReplyDelete1. Very nice rendition of "Art of the Dress". Such a complete shift in tone despite every theme being recognizable. Love it.
ReplyDelete2. Not too shabby. I couldn't help but think of The Gothic Archies for some reason.
3. Nice Stairway variation. I am always a fan of the melancholy.
#1 Meh
ReplyDelete#2 Somepony needs to make Ponies of the Carribean. NOW!
#3 Ponies make Stairway to Heaven 200% cooler.

I actually liked the industrial video more when it was not just a remix but its own music.
ReplyDelete#1 4:04 Video Not Found.
ReplyDeleteNumber 3 improved my life.
ReplyDelete#1 was great, while hearing it, I could totally see the working men at the production chain, Rarity overseeing it all etc.
