She is climbing in yo window, laying in front of your fireplace.. (up). Gonna get so warm so you better hide your plushies, hide your toys. Hide your plushies hide your toys.
I would be wondering what she's doing being asleep during the nighttime. She has a whole country to govern and she's in my house sleeping? She slept all day!
Luna? WHY?! Till a pony FINALLY comes into my house,it must be LUNA?!
OH CELESTIA,PLEASE,SEND HER AWAY FROM HERE!
(not because I hate her (that too), But I don't want Lunar Republicans storming my house whit screams of "weheardlunaishere, letusinorwewillkillyou, celestiaisevil!"
Answer: hair (and the trapped air between the hairs acts as an insulator, not only retaining body heat, but also insulating against outside sources of heat. Thus, the fireplace is "hotter" with more Luna snoozing in front of it, but all that hair keeps the fireplace from being too hot for Luna.
Please excuse Luna from her nightly duties for a while, as I don't think I'll be able to stop hugging her for a least a week. Also we're knitting socks later, yay!
I'm pretty sure if this actually happened, one of the first things I would do (after pinching myself and doing a slow 360 around her to see if she is really there) is quietly and quickly pull out my laptop and post on Ponychan.
@ToonNinja Not that he needs any defending, but he never said he hated her.
I, personally, hate the enormous, egregious fan base that she accrued from only her introduction. The problem for me is the "Lunar Republic" garbage created only because of one musician's song and used as fanon law. Some people use that inane idea to create a rift between the fandom against things that their hivemind doesn't like.
Seriously though, if that ACTUALLY happened, I'd die. (Because of all of the other bronies rushing to my house. One MIGHT be the GREAT and POWERFUL Trevor, but one isn't a selfish JERK! One would immediately post a pic of us with the address location STAT! (Maybe. Might take me a few weeks, but I'd do it eventually! XD )
I'd go grab a book, sit down next to her, and wait for her to wake. When she wakes up, I'll introduce myself and ask if she'd like to hear a story. (This is all assuming it is early morning/nighttime at present.)
The same can be say about the enormous love she get's. She only get all those love Because she is dark, and she is like teh underdog, and it's cool to love the underdog and s***
This random as i have a fire going, and there is a 1.2 metre gen 3 Rainbow Dash plushie (its my Fiancee's from before i got into MLP) sitting on the opposite side of the room :D
Ask her what she's doing here, on Earth, on my floor, and does she want a proper bed or at least a couch to sleep on because stone is not the most comfortable of surfaces. Give her books to take back to Equestria, because everyone loves books. Figure out if magic works on this planet. Watch Moon with her. Make tea. In no particular order.
I've seen fireplaces in operation; without a screen in front of it Luna's going to get one nasty surprise when a hot ember flies out and lands on her flank.
And then, given how she responded to unwanted surprises in stories like "Progress", the homeowner will get a nasty surprise when he finds half his house on the moon.
I would have to offer her every blanket an pillow in the house to make that chilly floor more comfortable, and then I would lay down with her and embrace her, so she knows she is loved and appreciated. I'd let her know I wish she'd never leave, and if she ever did, that I'd want to follow her to the ends of the earth, universe, and beyond. I'd probably be too afraid to sleep, for fear that I'd wake up to find it only a dream, so I'd be up till exhaustion itself took me, holding her and smiling.
As much as I adore Luna and my first instinct is to go up and give her a hug.
The fact is Luna appearing in my house in front of a fireplace isn't right, something is wrong. I'd first ask her what she is doing here as this smells of Trollestia banishment.
If this is nothing out of the ordinary for her, then much hugging would ensue.
once I recovered from the shock of it, I'd probalby quietly sit on the couch, get a good book, basically, try not to disturb her. and then blow it all by freaking out, grabbing the camera and taking pics. then, hopefully, we'd sit and have a pleasent discussion.
It might be a little warm with all that hair, but little Woona curled up sleeping in front of the fireplace... the cuteness is just through the roof. I'd have to try and hold myself back from hugging her tons and waking her up. A near impossible task, I know. <3
._. *Goes and grab a blanket and a pillow. Wrap her in the blanket an put her over the pillow and let her sleep. Then, grab a glass with ice and whiskey, sit on the couch and cry of happiness, thanks to that wonderful moment.*
OH MY GOD SOOO CUTE. Really makes you wonder why we haven't seen her since the first four episodes. Anyway Ms. Luna is welcome to sleep by my fireplace anytime she wants.
I didn't read all comments so I don't know if it's been said BUT - I would think the same thing when my dog would sleep near the fireplace, but she seemed to enjoy the heat + all her fur :3

ReplyDeletebut the floor's cold cold tiles. no cushions or rug...
ReplyDeleteI think the adorableness will overcome the temperature! And this pic is also my desktop. Win!
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's really cold outside?
ReplyDeleteAfter that, I'd politely (maniacally) ask if she can teleport me to the library in Ponyville.
D'awwww :D
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOD LUNA.
ReplyDelete<3
ReplyDeletebrb, heart replacement
ReplyDeleteD'awwww.... :3
ReplyDeleteCute :3
ReplyDeleteBut I don't have a fireplace in my living room :__)

ReplyDeleteOh god, she's so cute, she magically made me a fireplace.

Not Fluttershy=get the fuck out.

ReplyDelete*runs to his living room to huggle her*
Best pony right there. This is my new fav.
ReplyDeleteFireplace: CHECK
ReplyDeleteBeauty laid down by the fire: CHECK
Stereo system: CHECK
Barry White Playing: Soon to be CHECKED
Pretty Luna...I live in Arizona. No fireplaces here.
ReplyDeleteMy mother has a wood burning stove on legs and had a long-haired dog that slept with his head underneath the stove. No problem.
ReplyDeleteSigh.... I wish. Stupid reality, always mucking things up.
ReplyDeleteIf it would be too hot I'd cuddle her and shield her from the heat with my own body
ReplyDeleteSo cute <3
ReplyDeleteHHNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGG
ReplyDeleteEvery cat I've ever known has loved to lie in front of a fireplace or heater; why would ponies be different?
ReplyDeleteDo not Question Luna.
ReplyDeleteThis is too adorable for my heart to take.
ReplyDeleteMust. Hug. Luna.
cuddlytimes soon methinks
ReplyDeleteWhich pony hasn't being IRL'ed yet? Have I seen Pinkie? I can't remember.
ReplyDeleteAt least she's not emptying your fridge.
ReplyDeleteLuna in my house. Adorable win.
ReplyDeleteAnd I have a fireplace now. It's cold, so win.
Today couldn't get better.
I would be wondering what she's doing being asleep during the nighttime. She has a whole country to govern and she's in my house sleeping? She slept all day!
ReplyDeleteLazy alicorn.
This is one of those times I wish we had a living room.
ReplyDeleteAnd just like that my days of going out came to an end
ReplyDeleteLuna? WHY?! Till a pony FINALLY comes into my house,it must be LUNA?!
ReplyDeleteOH CELESTIA,PLEASE,SEND HER AWAY FROM HERE!

>Luna is in your living room
ReplyDeleteWell, I hope she's housebroken.
Must... resist... urge... to hug... Might... send me... to... sun...
ReplyDelete@SovBrony You... you hate.. P-p-princess luna... *eye twitch*
ReplyDeleteI want Luna curled up at my fireplace. It's so cute.
ReplyDeleteAnswer: hair (and the trapped air between the hairs acts as an insulator, not only retaining body heat, but also insulating against outside sources of heat. ReplyDelete@Misterquark ...How big is your monitor? XD
ReplyDeleteI'd put a life size replica of her in my living room.
ReplyDeleteShe has been on the moon for the last 1000 years, its got to be pretty cold up there...
ReplyDeleteLuna in MY living room?.....if only...
ReplyDeleteI'd carry her to my bed and sit in a chair watching her.
ReplyDeleteCute, but I don't have a living room.
ReplyDeleteHey, Luna. Wanna play xbox?
ReplyDeleteI would troll the internet by posting a few pictures of me and Luna cuddling. THE RAGE
ReplyDeleteDear Princess Celestia
ReplyDeletePlease excuse Luna from her nightly duties for a while, as I don't think I'll be able to stop hugging her for a least a week. Also we're knitting socks later, yay!
Your faithful servant
The Baron
I'm pretty sure if this actually happened, one of the first things I would do (after pinching myself and doing a slow 360 around her to see if she is really there) is quietly and quickly pull out my laptop and post on Ponychan.
ReplyDelete"Hey guys, Luna is in my living room. You jelly?"
I wonder how my cat will react?
ReplyDeleteI'd run up, and give her a big hug.
ReplyDelete"Luna, what are you doing in my house?"
ReplyDelete...
"Wait a second, this isn't my house..."
*Sleeps next to Luna*
ReplyDeleteHugz for Luna
ReplyDelete@SovBrony
ReplyDeleteLuna's had two lines! How the hell can you find enough material to hate her?
Hugs?
ReplyDeleteGoddammit!!! Wish I was home right now... Card games and hot chocolate!!!!
ReplyDeleteI wanna Luna in my living room too!
ReplyDeleteAaaww, cute!
ReplyDeleteI... I... Luna... in... house?
ReplyDeleteYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
@ToonNinja
ReplyDeleteNot that he needs any defending, but he never said he hated her.
I, personally, hate the enormous, egregious fan base that she accrued from only her introduction. All for a cartoon pony.
Also she brings out the creepy in people.
I've got Fluttershy on my couch already (wallpaper), so I have no room for another IRL pony. This is rather cute though.
ReplyDeleteSo...much...wanting reality to have ponies...or maybe just a portal to Equestria...that would be quite okay with me.
ReplyDeletedamn you reality
ReplyDeleteM-must... Get... T-the Penicillin ... *Passes out*
ReplyDeleteSeriously though, if that ACTUALLY happened, I'd die. XD )
*walks in, lays down next to her. Drifts off to sleep*
ReplyDeleteHugs
ReplyDelete@The GREAT and POWERFUL Trevor
ReplyDelete>M-must... Get... T-the Penicillin ...
You know, Luna is a pony and not a big germ.
@Fenix
ReplyDelete"not because I X Y (that too)"
The "that too" implies X is true but not the key contributing reason.
He is saying that the Luna fans are more of a reason for not wanting Luna in his house than the fact he hates Luna.
In my house I think a lot of hugs would result from a visit by any pony, Luna or otherwise.
Luna does look adorable in this picture....
I'd go grab a book, sit down next to her, and wait for her to wake.
ReplyDeleteWhen she wakes up, I'll introduce myself and ask if she'd like to hear a story. (This is all assuming it is early morning/nighttime at present.)
... Bucking iPod! Sorry, it changed one's word due to poor spelling. One meant Insulin, not Penicillin! (Small keyboards suck, and so does autospell!)
ReplyDelete@Mooke
ReplyDeleteI'm aware of that. I wasn't speaking for him, I just wanted to add my few cents.
If this actually did happen, I would check myself into an insanity ward because I would be delusional.
I just got back from checking my living room.
ReplyDeleteI am so very depressed now...
Too hot for a fireplace D:
ReplyDeleteAnd Luna probably wouldn't like it where I live. Can barely see the night sky.
@KShrike
ReplyDeleteThere are ponies in real life, it's just that they are not cute.
@Teilzeitbernd
ReplyDeleteWell that horn COULD be sharp and if you and Luna got, um... got close, there could be a poking.
AND BY CLOSE I MEANT A HUG OF COURSE OF COURSE
I'd be honored to death that she chose my house.
ReplyDeleteStare at Luna trying not to get a heartache from the cuteness
ReplyDelete-cellphone rings-
*Fluttershy ring tone*
Die, too much cuteness.
*stands staring for roughly a minute* *walks up and curls up next to her* <3
ReplyDelete@Angel Heart
ReplyDeleteWhat so strange? People hate celestia on left and right, despite her being a good character.
@ToonNinja
ReplyDeleteThe same can be say about the enormous love she get's. She only get all those love Because she is dark, and she is like teh underdog, and it's cool to love the underdog and s***
@SovBrony
ReplyDeleteAnd that's just as strange.
Just FYI, more than 1 thing can be strange at a time.
@Fenix^THIS. SO MUCH THIS^
ReplyDeleteMake s'mores.
ReplyDelete"CELESTIA IS EVIL AND I HATE HER" Seems to Receive both positive and negative replies.
ReplyDeleteWhen I say I hate Luna,however...
Ron the death eater trope,huh?
This random as i have a fire going, and there is a 1.2 metre gen 3 Rainbow Dash plushie (its my Fiancee's from before i got into MLP) sitting on the opposite side of the room :D
ReplyDeleteLuna, its a bit early to be waiting for Santa.
ReplyDeleteI'd hug that there Luna. And follow up by not sleeping at night but instead spending it stargazing with the mare.
ReplyDeleteAnd ofcourse asking her questions. Lots and lots of questions.
1. Hug Luna
ReplyDelete2. Wonder how she's here
3. Ask
4. Go to Equestria with Luna
The day this happens is the day I will never want anything ever again.
ReplyDeleteI d'aaaawwwwwwwwd so hard that my heart stopped, I died, and a surgeon installed a pacemaker which I subsequently shut off so I could die twice.
ReplyDeleteI'd sit in a big comfy armchair with a bathrobe, bubble pipe, and red fez.
ReplyDeleteThen I'd squee to death.
I'mma go get a brush and spend the next several hours brushie brushie-ing her. <3
ReplyDeletetime to cuddle right next to her <3
ReplyDeleteMy Living room doesn't have a fireplace...
ReplyDeleteWho cares? Luna is in my house!
ReplyDelete*notices Xbox 360*
ReplyDeleteGive it Luna. Now.
Wait... This is backwards...
ReplyDeleteWe had a rough collie who'd get so close to the fire that I swear she'd have to burst into flames before noticing the heat.
ReplyDeleteThat said, Luna's going to be real sorry if that fireplace sparks...
I've seen fireplaces in operation; without a screen in front of it Luna's going to get one nasty surprise when a hot ember flies out and lands on her flank.
ReplyDeleteAnd then, given how she responded to unwanted surprises in stories like "Progress", the homeowner will get a nasty surprise when he finds half his house on the moon.

ReplyDelete@The Baron
ReplyDeleteNo, i'm far too busy hugging her myself.
Also she has rather enough of those socks ponies keep trying to give her.
I would have hot coco with an over abundance of marshmallows sitting near-by, so when she awakes, it's to the smell of awesome chocolatey goodness!
ReplyDeleteAs much as I adore Luna and my first instinct is to go up and give her a hug.
ReplyDeleteThe fact is Luna appearing in my house in front of a fireplace isn't right, something is wrong. I'd first ask her what she is doing here as this smells of Trollestia banishment.
If this is nothing out of the ordinary for her, then much hugging would ensue.
These RL + pony pics are awesome.
ReplyDeleteI'd put a blanket over her, and then wait on the couch reading until she woke up, and then we would discuss the nature of the Universe.
ReplyDeleteI'd move her someplace more comfortable... then thank her for upgrading my fireplace when she wakes up.
ReplyDelete*walks in and hugs luna* luna your the greatest
ReplyDeleteonce I recovered from the shock of it, I'd probalby quietly sit on the couch, get a good book, basically, try not to disturb her. and then blow it all by freaking out, grabbing the camera and taking pics. then, hopefully, we'd sit and have a pleasent discussion.
ReplyDeleteI'm really curious who's the author of this heartwarming pic.
ReplyDeleted'awwwwwwwww
ReplyDeleteGet socks.
ReplyDeleteWear socks.
?????
HUGS!
I give her the biggest hug ever and never let her go.
ReplyDeleteI would hug her all the time and make my dog mad. U mad, Boo Boo?
ReplyDeleteDies from so much D'awwwww!
ReplyDeleteLuna's thundering moonquakes my heart hnnnnnnnnggghh
ReplyDelete>luna is in your living room
ReplyDeleteIf only...
1st give socks to
ReplyDelete2nd help put on socks
3rd hug untill the end of time
Why do pony hugs sound so appealing?
ReplyDeleteI have dogs that I hug all the time, but somehow hugging a pony sounds softer and more fulfilling...
I don't care for what is going to happen to the moon or Equestria, Luna is way too cute and I'll hug her...
ReplyDeleteFOREVER!
Must resist... can't hold on...
ReplyDeleteD'awww!
NEED TO HUG NAO!!!
ReplyDeleteI would hug her so damn hard.
ReplyDeleteMy dog would be jealous... f*ck her.
...wait, since when do I have a fireplace?!?! O_o
ReplyDeleteD'awwwwwwwww! She's just so cute! /)^3^(\
ReplyDeleteIt might be a little warm with all that hair, but little Woona curled up sleeping in front of the fireplace... the cuteness is just through the roof. I'd have to try and hold myself back from hugging her tons and waking her up. A near impossible task, I know. <3
ReplyDelete... And this, my friends, is how you insure that somebody never leaves their front room again.
ReplyDeleteCursed stove, I don't have enough tile space for Luna to lay.
ReplyDelete._.
ReplyDelete*Goes and grab a blanket and a pillow. Wrap her in the blanket an put her over the pillow and let her sleep. Then, grab a glass with ice and whiskey, sit on the couch and cry of happiness, thanks to that wonderful moment.*
;-;)
Note to self: Luna is a cat.
ReplyDeleteIf Luna was living in my room, I'd build her a bed for a start. It's my special talent; building and fixing things.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's not too hot, because now I need to hug her too.
ReplyDeleteScratch her between the ears.
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOD SOOO CUTE. Really makes you wonder why we haven't seen her since the first four episodes. Anyway Ms. Luna is welcome to sleep by my fireplace anytime she wants.
ReplyDeleteI didn't read all comments so I don't know if it's been said BUT - I would think the same thing when my dog would sleep near the fireplace, but she seemed to enjoy the heat + all her fur :3
ReplyDelete>Wouldn't a fireplace be hot with all that hair?
ReplyDelete-Well... cats and dogs don't seem to mind. ;)
So that's where she was all season 1.
ReplyDelete
