Apparently the mane cast is planning a trip to... somewhere (maybe a new season two city?), complete with suitcases and pet dogs, ducks, and hedgehogs(?).
A little random, but we expect that by now!
Have some direct links, because captions keep breaking with images set up like this.
Twilight Suitcase
Rainbow Dash Suitcase
Pinkie Pie Suitcase
Thanks to Emily for the heads up!

ROFL Pinkie WOULD have a hedge hog out of no where.
ReplyDeleteBut why not Gummy? I would buy that toy if it came with a show accurate Gummy.
Is twilight missing her horn?

dear Celestia, i do think Twilight IS missing her horn...
ReplyDeleteWe want show accurate ponies, and unicorns for that matter.
ReplyDeleteTraveling ponies!
ReplyDeleteI also kinda like the key chains. At least the couple G4 models they show. :P Though I hate having anything huge on my keys. Makes them too cumbersome.
Hah, didn't notice Twi missing her horn into others pointed that out. Derp.

ReplyDelete@wackyteen
ReplyDeleteAlso Rarity has the wrong eye color.
Going on a trip?
ReplyDelete@showmetheblueprints
ReplyDeleteI think that she is sweetie belle.
@showmetheblueprints
ReplyDeleteThat's Sweetie Belle, two color mane & green eyes.
Twilight isn't missing her horn, look a bit closer. It's just a bit hard to see because of the glare on the plastic.
ReplyDelete@Craft
ReplyDeleteThat looks like her other ear to me.
Ugly dog. Meet ugly duck. Meanwhile, Pinkie swaps her ugly alligator for a cute hedgehog.
ReplyDeletehornless twilight?
ReplyDeletehasbro: amidoinitrite?
Tell me, Hasbro...why, oh freaking WHY is it so DIFFICULT to create toys that are one hundred percent accurate to the show models?! I refuse to buy any of your figure-related merchandise until you provide me with REAL replicas!
ReplyDeleteHASBRO!!
ReplyDeleteY U TORTURE US?!
That IS her horn.
ReplyDelete@WritersBlah Same
ReplyDeleteTwilight, y u no horn?
ReplyDelete@Craft
ReplyDeleteOh, I see it now. Had to "zoom and enhance". lol
I hate the receding hairlines!!
ReplyDeleteShe actually does have a horn if you look on the website. But still, I'd like some true show-accurate ponies please!
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing SO DAMN HARD at the randomness
ReplyDeleteMore like Twilight and Rainbow Dash, y u have no fringe?
ReplyDeleteAnd I WANT TAHT KEYCHAIN. I LOVE KEYCHAINS. I CAN PUT HER ON MY BAG NEXT TO MY TOOLA ROOLA PLUSH KEYCHAIN!
I see her horn now. derp
ReplyDeleteIs it just me, or does the Pinkie toy look just a bit too much like Pinkamena-mode for comfort?
ReplyDelete@quackey
ReplyDelete*that
Actually, I checked the source and it looks like some chinese person put keychains on G3.5 and G4 ponies.
Twilight does have a horn, although it doesn't really ensemble a unicorns horn.
ReplyDeleteBronies, are you trolling me?
I'm still embarrassed by the duck. I'm pretty sure if that damned thing smiled, you'd probably see Gummi's missing teeth. I mean for crying out loud, Hasbro.
ReplyDeleteThe way the suitcase is clamped on to Twilight's leg makes it look like a prison ball and chain.
ReplyDeleteoh, i kinda see the horn now. but it really does look like her other ear.
ReplyDeleteWell at least one thing is accurate. Rainbow Quack! The Trusty side-kick of Rainbow Dash. Finaly in toy form!
ReplyDeleteWhy doesnt pinkie pie have gummy instead of that..that..thing!?
ReplyDeleteAny Brony buying these crappy looking things seriously needs to re-evaluate their life.
ReplyDeleteHooray! Rainbow Dash finally has an animal friend like Gummy. or Angel. or Spike and Aloysius. or Opalescence. or Winona.
ReplyDelete@PonyPonyPonyBrony
ReplyDeleteA DUCK!? This is my AWESOME pet!?
Hasbro isn't interested in show-accurate toys, it's only interested in selling stuff that appeals to the little girl audience who don't CARE what toy they get so long as it's a pony and cute.
ReplyDeleteWith MLP, from what I hear they've always been this way...we just didn't care until we gained interest in G4. It's not going to change for us, the inner workings related to the toys isn't the same as the workings for the cartoon and will probably always have a complete disconnect from the show itself.
@Vinyl Scratch
ReplyDelete...nevermind that it would take upwards to a year at least to draft, design and get molds for the things. Let alone actually putting the things into production.
Give Hasbro some slack. They've been pretty good to us, all things considered, and they can't exactly magic up their new products.
RAINBOWDUCK!
ReplyDeleteHornless Twilight with an ugly poodle thing, Long haired Rainbow Dash with a duck, and Pinkamina with Amy the Hedgehog.
ReplyDeleteHasbro... Have you even seen the damn show?
@Altercation
ReplyDeleteAnd? Did Hasbro forget we're a very enthusiastic fanbase? We'd buy the damn things like hotcakes no matter how unbelievably expensive they were. You know, I'm glad Hasbro has allowed what's happened so far to happen, otherwise there probably wouldn't BE a brony community, but those execs who actually hold all the trademarks really piss me off sometimes.
@MiColtOf course! I wondered why her horn looked weird.
ReplyDelete@Altercation
ReplyDeleteExactly. A lot of people complain about shoe accurate toys. But it takes a lot of money and time to bring a whole new toy into production.
And like Vinyl said, they aren't interested in show accurate toys to begin with. They aren't a hobbyist's company. They're a toy company. They only care if the toys sell well. And even though the Brony community is pretty large, there's still more little girls buying these and that's where the majority of their profits come from as far as I know. For them to roll out show accurate toys simply for Bronies, they would have to be certain that they would sell VERY well. And it's hard to really guarantee that. I think I remember someone mentioning the molded hair packs didn't sell as well as they were hoping. Though I don't know how, since they seemed to be sold out a fair bit wherever I looked. But in any case, if that's true, that's not a good indication to them to make more obviously. Same reason Celestia is pink. A pink pony simply sells better to the younger audience.
Ha ha ha ha, SHOE accurate? oh that's hilarious
ReplyDeleteI don,t think it would be too hard for Hasbro to at least make animal sidekicks, that are similar to the show. I mean they can manage to show all the gears and wires and the transformer movie toys I don't see why making a gummy toy would be too hard.
There probably isn't any reason behind the suitcases except possibly so they have luggage to put on that train playset we saw pictures of.
ReplyDeleteAlso, remember THE TOYS COME FIRST. Hasbro designs the toys for the upcoming year, then they're like "Hey show people, we're making a train so put a train in an episode" or "Make some excuse for one of the main characters to have butterfly wings, 'cause we're selling a set like that."
I am getting sick of these new animal friend molds when there are so few pony molds, though. That is just ridiculous.
I want those little stickers that come with the suitcase ponies so I can cover my laptop in them!
ReplyDeleteSTICKERSSS!
Oh hey, it's Pinkamena.
ReplyDeleteSo now we wait for "Travelling Rarity...And suitcase."
@Raditz 360
ReplyDeleteMaking fun of my typo, are ya? ;)
@Octavia eyup
ReplyDelete@Raditz 360
ReplyDeleteAh, I figured. You'll live!
Rainbow Dash doesn't look at the camera for nopony!
ReplyDeleteI think the people that are in charge of making these toys look like what they look like obviously haven't seen the show or understand it lol. Also where did the duck, hedgehog and poodle come from?
ReplyDeleteUh-oh. Pinkie's hair is flat. Better not let her think you're abandoning her, Mane Cast!
ReplyDeleteAwesome!I would TOTALLY buy that!!=D
