BB writes in to tell us about issue five of Hungary's official Friendship is Magic Magazine. It apparently comes with some small items of interest, including a 'find the difference' picture and a set of stickers, which you can find linked after the break.

Hungary has a magazine for bronies?
ReplyDeletethird.
ReplyDelete@wackyteen
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly! Get with it, America! Hungary is already on it!
O_O Princess Celestia in a cape = Pure Win.
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely interesting...
Well at lease Cheerilee doesn't look like she dresses in 80s fashion.
ReplyDeletewell.. i guess the first pic explains why there was one sticker with pinkie dressed like that in the coloring book from target
ReplyDeleteis it me or Pinkie's eyes seem little different? are they?
ReplyDeleteDoes Pinkie's mane seem, eh, small or is that just me?
ReplyDeletePinkie Pie in that outfit...
ReplyDeleteHNNNNNG
And thus Hungary was invaded by the bronies who took over and renamed it Equestria
ReplyDeleteHungary has an awesome FIM mag and we don't?
ReplyDeleteAmerica i am disapoint...
:3 so cute
ReplyDeletehaha interesting...
ReplyDeleteDude, that second-last pic with Pinkie takin' a drink, I don't think I've ever seen that position in a Hasbro-made FIM thing before. Like, maybe it's just one of the stock vectors that they almost never use, but kudos on Hungary for switchin' it up while still keeping the anatomy right.
ReplyDeleteOh god stock vectors! If they make a brony magazine it better damn well have some real artists. They should totally hire csimadmax to make a official pony comic. It'd be epic.
ReplyDeletelol? Are they having a "Celestia is awesome" party?
ReplyDeleteSlutalee and Slutie Pie XD
ReplyDelete@BronyMike
ReplyDeleteUm that looks more like a shaker possibly applying icing sugar to the cupcakes.
I want pony stickers... ;(
ReplyDeletei want to see ALL of the pages!!!! then we could all print off our own.....
ReplyDeleteMy favorite ponies and my favorite crazy moon language, together at least! I want those stickers, and I really want that Pinkie poster.
ReplyDeleteAs for the spot the difference pic... there a fanfic about Pinkie and Cheerilee at THAT sort of party at one point?
Now if only some other countries would get awesome monthly FiM magazines. lol
ReplyDeleteIt's cute, I'd probably buy it for fun.
Requesting translation!
ReplyDeleteWait, where is this? Where do I buy it? And how come I haven't seen it before?
ReplyDelete@Dr. Orbital Death-Ray: crazy moon language? Lol!
Cheerilee is best pony.
ReplyDeleteBUT THEY CAN'T SEEM TO GET HER CUTIE MARK RIGHT! D:
ReplyDeletepinkie pie putting salt on cupcakes? somehow that doesn't surprise me..
ReplyDeleteNice picture of Pinkie ... not the dreaded standard vector? I'm impressed!
ReplyDeleteWHAT THE F- WE HAVE A FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC MAGAZINE?
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess it makes sense, since we have magazines for almost any popular cartoon show (and they tend to be pretty good actually), but still... WHY DID I NOT KNOW OF THIS?!
Oh yeah and I own a set of those stickers :D (also, the magazine of course)
ReplyDeleteThe text makes me eyes twitch...
ReplyDelete"She was so lost in looking at the poppies that she only noticed a bit later all the flying butterflies and birds /birdsies, if I want to be appropriate, adding a more cute tone/ around her.
The butterflies took a rest on her back from time to time
- I will paint what I know the best: the flowers, the butterflies and the birds. Let the princess know that every creature adores her."
"Princess Celestia was touched as she was looking at the portraits. She said her tanks to each and every pony.
- These pictures are so beautiful, I decided to place them all in my palace. Thank you all, nice little ponies!"
So...the text is still dumb, but I understand it wasn't written with 20-30 year old fans in mind.
However, vectors are still weird and AJ is still missing her hat (which I totally can't understand).
However I agree with those who compliment on the picture where Pinkie is sprinkling the cupcakes.
It is a new pose we haven't seen yet (at least I haven't) and a particulary well made one.
I doubt I will buy any of these. I refuse. I will wait for 'brony-centered' products. Or soemthing that resembles G4 more appropriately.
I will just have to stick to my little molded blindbag ponies till then.
Why is Pinkie Pie salting those cupca... oh right, it's Pinkie.
ReplyDeleteOh my god! I can't believe it. I'm from Hungary and never seen this magazine before. i will buy it as soon as possible! :D
ReplyDelete@TheBigCupODirt
ReplyDeleteFact: Cheerilee IS the best pony.
Wait Theres an FiM Magazine in HUNGARY?! HOW THE HELL DID I MISS THAT?! (lolz lives in the capital of said country)
ReplyDeleteThat Pinkie vector is decent [don't kill me]
ReplyDeleteOk, I read the last Hun Pony magazine post (which was very dump, so they seem to improve :D) Anyhow, I'm Hungarian and never seen that magazine, but it's good to know that there are actually Hungarian bronies :D Hajrá brúnik! :P
ReplyDelete...And here comes the next meme/fetish: ponies in skirts =0
ReplyDeleteI don't like how Celestia always stares at the reader. Gives me the creeps.
ReplyDeleteAlso, gala Fluttershy without dress is...CUTE. ^^
Yay!!!
ReplyDeleteHungary is on EQD!!! Best Day EVER! :D
Hungary is famous for: Wine culture, Watersports, History, Bronies :P
ReplyDelete@tmaster
ReplyDeleteDon't forget music! Franz Liszt (Liszt Ferenc), Zoltan Kodaly and Hungarian-style Gypsy Music are still somewhat well regarded in the West.
I love my home even more!
ReplyDeleteHungary and Poland, brothers forever!
