ReplyDeleteI do not regret staying up until 2 AM to watch it.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely loved how the developers nearly shat themselves when Rarity came up.
ReplyDeleteThe live show is so funny. The comments go crazy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! :D
ReplyDeleteum yeah maybe bliptv would be better?
ReplyDelete@Cody
ReplyDeleteA what point does that happen ?
@liam.q.b Part 1, 20 minutes in.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to see Rarity fighting... but the reactions were priceless!
ReplyDeleteThe link for part three is wrong. It should be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8ZAe0PiG1U
ReplyDeleteDon't they have it recorded on Livestream? Wouldn't it be better to link that over someone else's recording?
ReplyDeleteIt was also recorded straight on LiveStream.

Oh my gosh, I want this so bad. T_T
ReplyDeletewhy don't you take all of my belongings in exchange for this game right now?

ReplyDelete@Cody
ReplyDeleteI loved that part, too.
But I hated how they literally refused to tell us anything that we didn't already know. What's even the point of doing an hour long livestream if everything is gonna be a secret?
the livestream version is in 1 peice too..so whynot just watch it from there?
ReplyDeleteI bet there's going to be a Trollestia skin...
ReplyDeleteI got to sneak a peak here and there, was cool. Over 3000 viewers after a bit too. lol
ReplyDeleteis just me or Twilight is just a pony version of Patchouli with her book attack and all..

Derpy will be pony Reisen? with her Insanity-inducing eyes or something?...
@Dr. Robotnik
ReplyDeleteWell the whole point of the Livestream was to show off the updated fighting engine and reveal Twilight for the first time. That's really all they promised, and to see the alpha game in action was in my opinion reward enough for an hour.
I would love to be given more information on the game as well, but I think all the stuff they were being secretive about they did because it wasn't finalized, and/or they wanted to build up some anticipation for the next stream.
My money is ready.
ReplyDelete2500 views on it last night: Your comment disappeared within 1 millisecond in the chat box. This game looks really well made- Can't wait until it's release :D
ReplyDeleteWas a good viewing, cannot wait to see more
ReplyDeleteI watched it live, but I stopped after 45 minutes. I am checking the third video to catch anything I might have missed.

ReplyDeleteSomeone! Fix the link in the post!
Wasn't sure if my comp would run this when it comes out...but I know what engine they're using now and I totally play japanese fan games with that engine all the time.
ReplyDeleteThe game looks amazing . . . all the different poses and expressions. Also, Twilight beating Applejack unconscious with a book was pretty hilarious to watch!
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I didn't really get was what the recolors of AJ and Twilight were for. Like, I understand why there would be a blue AJ fighting orange AJ, but sometimes it seemed like blue AJ was fighting Twilight? Can anyone explain it to me?
Can't wait for this game to come out!
^Selectable pallet swaps have been around in fighters for years. Adds a bit of personalization to the selection.
ReplyDeleteThat said:
ReplyDeleteWhite/pink Twilight- Twilights mom
Orange/yellow Twilight- Fire rage Twilight
Green Applejack- Granny Smith
Blue Applejack- Trixie
Magenta Applejack- Cheerilee
I would pay so much money for this game. I'm in love. I haven't loved a fighting game this much since I played Mortal Kombat in the 90s.
ReplyDelete@ all the people shouting "shut up and take my money!"
ReplyDeleteThe game will be 100% free and they are not accepting donations. They are not making the game for money. They are doing it because they love fighting games and MLP. It's all stated in the FAQ on their website.
I love these guys so much.
Seth, you should swap out the links. The dev team has a direct recording up on the OFFICIAL YouTube page. It's far better quality and should be where you direct us.
