As most of you may have noticed, the ending theme for season two, episode two, was abruptly cut off by ads. Someone has finally uploaded the full version of the song.
Find the theme, and all of it's Star Warsy goodness after the break!
It's weird, and it may be a byproduct of watching so many YouTube vids over the past forty-eight hours...but the Stars Wars Throne Room/End Title theme almost feels like a better fit for the final scene and credits than this.
@TheBlackBaron My personal opinion is that the Spaceballs theme works better. (I have the video to prove it, it shows up if you search "spaceballs pony" on YouTube.
Ok, that was awesome. Now I have yet another reason to hate all the ads on The Hub. I mean, Do you really need an ad break right after the opening titles? I never though I would prefer the ads here in Ireland, but The Hub made me love them.
I'll use this credits fro my new stories as end of episode credits. It fits so well for the end of a episode, but the Throne Room/Ending Theme Fits only in the last episode.
I hate you both. William Anderson never gets any love from this fandom and you two aren't helping. Not to mention he does way more than Daniel Ingram ever does. William writes ENTIRE SCORES. Daniel writes the few and far between vocal songs. I hate the lack of respect and lack of acknowledgement this fandom gives William, because his work is genuinely amazing and influences the story so much.
Sorry, this has just been building up in me, I've been waiting for an opportunity to make this rant, and you two happened to be the people to set me off.
Can we interview Will at some time? He does so much for this show, it'd be great.
I feel exactly the same, Erroneous. William Anderson's creative contribution to the series is much greater than Ingram's. And if you listen closely, you'll notice that it's his score that really makes all the emotional impact.
I don't know if he's responsible for the prequels' scores, but the original Star Wars trilogy was scored by John Williams. This credits music gives me a massive Williams vibe, though it's more Hook than Star Wars to my ear.

It's really unbelievable that it fits so well with the star wars ending. (probably intended, but still)
ReplyDeleteSweet theme
ReplyDeleteYay~! Oh Daniel, why you so good at what you do?
ReplyDeleteToo cool. XD
ReplyDeleteSecond!
ReplyDeletenot bad.
ReplyDeleteThat is very easy to listen to.
ReplyDeleteGlad to be able to hear it! I was wondering why they even made it different if it was going to be cut off. D:
ReplyDelete@Fallin' Winter
ReplyDeleteDaniel Ingram does the songs. The end theme was probably composed by William Anderson. :)
Bravo! This song was really well done! I guess that it should be expected, considering where the song would go
ReplyDelete@Fallin' Winter
ReplyDeleteDaniel does the songs, but William Anderson does the scores -- so I think this is actually William's work.
William never gets as much adulation. :(
Song feels to short
ReplyDeleteThis show is almost too fabulous. If there was such a thing, of course!
ReplyDeleteYeah that was me forgetting that there were two of them. Now I feel bad. You're awesome too William Anderson, it'd wouldn't be the same without you.
ReplyDeleteNice little tune.
ReplyDeleteYes! I've been waiting to hear this! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteIs it too soon to call William Anderson the next Michael Giacchino?

ReplyDeleteStill amazing, though.
Will Anderson is a beast!
ReplyDelete@BronyDude You know that's not going to stop the remixers from working with it. Case in point, "Evil Enchantress".
ReplyDeleteIt's certainly a cool little tune. :)
ReplyDeleteMay I be the first to say how awesome the new banner is.
ReplyDeleteI am so downloading this and editing it in the original episode <3

ReplyDeleteDaniel Ingram, I love you.

ReplyDeleteAmazing work as usual Mr. Ingram!
ReplyDeleteNeat little song, nice of them to make a new ending theme just for this episode. It fits better than the normal one would have.
ReplyDeleteI have nothing clever to say because i am too excited because of that ending music is finally here
ReplyDeleteDamn ads. Thank you very much for yet another amazing song...

I'm glad that, in Sweden, the credits won't get cut of, if the ending is special ^^ (at least it often won't, but not always)

ReplyDeleteBy the way, there has been an email interview with W. Anderson I believe
ReplyDeleteWay Past Cool!
ReplyDeleteExcellent ending! I've seen the show on air a couple of times just to catch the ending but NONE!
ReplyDeleteThis is every bit as fulfilling as I expected! Great composition, I wonder if they made a full length of this.
I would've loved it more if it was like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSiQn8XVfcc

ReplyDeleteWhimsical meets epic. :D
ReplyDeleteYeah, this was made by William Anderson. He's the guy who makes all of the awesome background music!
ReplyDeleteAlso, this video seems kinda familiar... xD
:p Nice little tune they got going there! would be a great ringtone if it wasn't so soft. :) I can't wait to hear the new intro song... (Derp!)
ReplyDeleteIs the Pinkie Pie Parasprite Polka by William Anderson?
ReplyDelete@remenescent
ReplyDeleteI blame a lack of communication between the show's makers and the guys who run the hub...
or in other words....
