A day full of awesome pony, not sure how much more I can take. I feel so lame for not working on my pony comic. Curse you Gears of War 3. Oh well, I can make up for it tomorrow after work.
These are just freakin amazing. I think I need to learn to paint and sculpt custom ponies to sell. I've always heard you should find a job that you enjoy doing....
Man everyone elses paints look so much smoother then mine. Stupid Luna falling off the shelf before I could finish her. I really should do that just some touch ups and her eyes.
I like the Celestia, but NMM... Meh. It's not working for me. An evil supervillain back from a millennium of banishment, ready to overthrow the ruler of Equestria shouldn't look so "cutesy" or be brushable IMO.
Are you paying attention Hasbro? look at the auctions for customs on ebay... if you gave us show accurate toys we would be throwing our money at you as fast as we possibly could
So much hate right here... And only because she's pink. Pink Power, people! Pink Power!
By the way, has there ever been an official statement by Hasbro what actually gave them the crazy idea to paint her pink in the first place? However, all those custom ponies do look great. Dat Sparkley Hair... :D
@Fritz X According to the Q&A here: http://www.equestriadaily.com/2011/09/massive-jayson-thiessen-q-from-bronycon.html , the toy division and show are almost completely separate. Studio B gets a lot of creative freedom, and the toy line is sticking with what they've been doing, since both are getting results.
$140 for custom Celestia?! *faints* I want a custom Celestia one of these days but if that's how much it's going to cost to get one, forget it! I'll just keep hoping the toy makers decide to do a white Celestia one day. *sigh*

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, I just can't handle anymore talent today. Plushie Comp., Drawfriend, PMVs, Fan-Animation, and this? I feel sooo mediocre!

These are all good, but that sparkly-mane Celestia... Wow. If I had the money (and the space to display it), I'd gladly pay $100+ for it.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, Gotta overthrow my sister, take over Equestria and ensure night eternal.
