Crayola Brony sent in the top comic, which (so far) has twenty some-odd pages of pony. I've included the first frame of the first comic above. You should check it out- you can find all the pages by clicking the picture.
The comic below... well, it certainly explains a few things. Again, full version is behind the picture. Like some kind of safe or something. Only instead of being filled with money or drugs or something it's filled with ponies. I think I'd rather have that kind of safe, personally.

wow the first series is massive
ReplyDeleteThe Granny Pie one makes...sense?
ReplyDeleteMy mind was just blown...
ReplyDeleteMy mind doesn't blow easily.
The Granny Pie comic was both extremely weird and perfectly logical, which means it was perfect for Pinkie Pie.
ReplyDeletethe hardcore-ness, it is hardcore
ReplyDeleteWait, Pinkie Pie being descended from Loki isn't already canon?
ReplyDeleteMind. Blown.
ReplyDeleteLoved darths and droids, I hope this proves just as awesome.
ReplyDeleteSecond one makes far to much sense to make sense.
Does this mean Ragnarok will effect Equestria too?
ReplyDeletePage 16. I laughed so hard. SO HARD XD This is AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteFriendship is Dragons hasn't been on EqD before? Damn... that's odd seeing as I follow it. Where else would I have found this...?
ReplyDelete@wulfmon13
ReplyDeleteI think he put Pinkie there to protect her and her descendants from Ragnarok.
Pinkie is descended from Loki = Pinkie is familiar with Trickster gods = Pinkie sees positives to Discord's release ("Chocolate rain!"). Logic chain ftw!
ReplyDeleteLoved the first one!
ReplyDeletePony safe is best safe, unless the safe has Dash Dollars in it, then I want that one.
ReplyDeleteSure, yeah, I guess #2 makes sense, if you've just smashed your head repeatedly into a wall and snorted ground up crayons; then it makes perfect sense.
ReplyDelete@Understatedly Hyperbolic
ReplyDeleteSame thoughts from me exactly. But it deserves a second shout out, so few MLP comics get this far up there in page count.
By the PONY GODS!!! Pinkie Pie said something that actually makes Stupefying SENSE!!!
ReplyDeleteOkay, Friendship is Dragons is now on my "Webcomics to Watch" list, and Pinkie Pie is canonically the descendant of Loki. That is all.
ReplyDeleteConfound these ponies, they make me read yet ANOTHER web comic.
ReplyDeleteDear gawd. That first webcomic. I'm loling so hard right now.
ReplyDeleteThe Granny Pie comic was really similar to a self.mylittlepony post I made on reddit. I wonder if the author read it, or if it was just a coincidence.
ReplyDeleteFun stuff either way.
wow, i thought i found Friendship is Dragons through EqD. if i'd known it wasn't featured already, i'd have sent a link a week ago.
ReplyDeleteEquestria Dragons is awesome. Whoever wrote it keep it up.
ReplyDelete@Protist It's a pure coincidence, otherwise I would have credited you :) I just wanted to explain the reason I think Pinkie = Loki's descendant makes sense. How many other gods turn themselves into mares and get pregnant with multilegged godhorses? XD
ReplyDeleteFriendship is Dragons is pure inspiration "17 vs. Armor Class! Hit!" had be laughing til I cried.
ReplyDeleteOh my god, reading that first comic with the character voices is making my sides hurt from laughing.
ReplyDeleteYESYESYESYESYES
ReplyDeleteActually, I have been advertised once before... in a Nightly Roundup a couple of months ago. Nice to have the front page, though!
Also, the Pinkie Pie comic threw me for a loop there... in a good way. It's that brand of "makes-sense-in-hindsight" logic that, when applied to Pinkie Pie, becomes doubly mind-bending.
Both comics are brilliant. I am going to follow Friendship Is Dragons from now on, and Granny Pie was just genius. Okee-Dokee-Loki indeed!
ReplyDeleteI loved DM of the rings, if this is anything like it I'm going to be esctatic.
ReplyDeleteGot only to page five with that first one.
ReplyDeleteAttention span: level 1
That second comic explains so much I'm still lost, which is good because understanding Pinkie Pie idk might make my head explode...or perhaps something worse
ReplyDeleteA safe full of money could be used to buy ponies....
ReplyDeleteOh man, Friendship is Dragons is freaking awesome. I would quote some of my favorite lines, but then this post would be about five pages long. I'll just say the art is fantastic and the comedy is superb.
ReplyDeleteLoki?
ReplyDeletei c wut u did thar.....
So Loki is Pinkie Pie's grandmother. That does explain a lot. I always thought that world gate might lead Equestria eventually.
ReplyDeleteSo Pinkie Pie is related to Loki the God of Mischief.
ReplyDeleteThe 2nd comic makes a hell of a lot more sense (and doesn't seem as random and silly) if you actually know Norse mythos.
ReplyDeleteQuite clever actually, it fits the mythology perfectly and does explain Pinkie's speed, energy, and love of the random.
The first comic looks like a lot of fun, but how long before the campaign jumps the rails? Especially with an evil Rainbow Dash and Rarity?
ReplyDeleteAnd the second one makes a frightening amount of sense. Hopefully Pinkie won't fall prey to a sudden urge to go and start hassling the God of Thunder. (And yes, I know, that's almost purely the comics and not the actual myths, where they were friends.)
I said it at dA and I'll say it here: we need to get the EPU to make the second comic Undocumented Features canon.
ReplyDelete@wulfmon13: It already HAS. The two humans left after Ragnarok? Actually ponies.
ReplyDelete@Rannva
ReplyDeleteLoki isn't a god! Loki is a really tiny mutant Frost Giant
@Kelleth You're right. Loki isn't a god, neither Aesir nor Vanir. Loki is a Jotun. He is OLDER than the gods.
ReplyDeleteGRANNY BACON! MINECRAFT!.....
ReplyDelete@Giniko: "Okee-Dokee-Loki indeed!"
ReplyDelete...
Great googly moogly, why didn't anyone make that connection before?
