A very special something for you all, specially dedicated to everypony who had to put up with Hurricane Irene. Thank you AdamRBi for the amazing comic, and thank you Lyra for being everything we ask you to be. Now if you'll excuse me, I have something in my eyes.

ReplyDeleteD'awww, that was a very cute comic. Thanks for posting it Phoe.
ReplyDelete"Definitely" was spelled wrong.
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing, so beautiful
ReplyDeleteLuna has more fans!
ReplyDeleteStargazing is where it's at!
HNNNG! My diabetes just got diabetes
ReplyDeleteHurricane Irene, I wonder if the Song Of Storms works if you play it on a lyre, Sheik would know, I'll ask him/her.
ReplyDeletePonies are definitely gonna give me

That was amazing. I'll think of that when I look at the stars now.
ReplyDeleteTears, so many of them.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I never really cared much for Lyra and Bon-Bon at first. I kind of thought they were boring characters, but the more and more fanfics and comics I read about them, the more I've really come to like them.
ReplyDeleteThe "definitely" stopped me for a few seconds, but once I finished reading the comic, I was once again assured of Lyra's place at the top of my favorite background ponies along with Octavia. Then I imagined the beautiful music they could play together for those not of their universe, and I made a d'awww.
ReplyDeletethanks Lyra
ReplyDeletebeautiful, just beautiful. Love this community.
ReplyDeleteAwww, that is a marvelous comic. I'm starting to get teary-eyed as well now... :') I commend the artist on doing a steller job.
ReplyDeleteI also do the same sometimes when I play violin. I sit outside and stargaze while I'm playing. Just to take in the nice, soft, warm and quiet night time atmosphere and air. Though I never thought of it as playing for other worlds to hear. I really like that idea. :)
Show of hands/hooves: who else heard her playing "Free Bird"?
ReplyDeleteIs this what they mean when they talk about the music of the spheres?
ReplyDeleteThat's nice
ReplyDeleteThis comic is so wonderful :D
ReplyDeleteThank you Lyra!
My body is so ready for the 17th I can't even stand it.
ReplyDeleteAlways nice to have editors in the crowd spotting your typos. Thanks @PonySymphony.
ReplyDeleteAlso, thank you Phoe for posting this up.
This has become my favorite comic instantly, thanks Lyra. Wish I really could hear your music, might give a lot of us here in Vermont something else to think about right about now. That blasted Hurricane...Thanks also to the artist, this comic was simply wonderful.

ReplyDeletethis has completed my life :)
ReplyDeletefor some reason it makes me think of "across the universe"
ReplyDeleteseemes fairly unrelated, but the name sorta works.
Whatever, things make sense to me but no one else usually anyway.
Awwwwww. :')

A Lyra comic that doesn't include LyraBon romance or "wanting to be human" jokes?
ReplyDeleteI'm OK with this.
wow that is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLyra's my favorite bg pony.
ReplyDeleteMUST. BACKTRACE. MUSIC!!!
ReplyDeleteI love music. I love stargazing.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I look at the stars and wonder if somewhere out there is another little planet with a curious creature looking out at the stars and wondering if anyone out there is looking back.
Beautifully sentiment beautifully done.
Makes ya wonder.. if paralell universes exist, does that mean that fictional ones also exist? Thought for the evening!
ReplyDeleteHugs! *hug*
ReplyDeleteAlso: Get high on hugs, not drugs.
Lyra—Awesome.
d'awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
ReplyDeleteI swear Lyra can be such an in-depth character! I so wanna see my favorite background pony in action on Season 2!
ReplyDelete"And do you know what they're saying?"
ReplyDelete"Shut up, I am trying to sleep here."
Why does that dude look so much like me?
ReplyDeleteSeriously, the hat, glasses and ponytail... the only thing that's off is the outfit.
Okay. That was simply adorable. I couldn't help but laugh at how utterly perfect it was. It's just so rare to see something like this done right without coming off as hammy or weird. Seriously, props to who made this.
ReplyDeleteGives Lyra a big hand.
ReplyDeletethis community is the best, nuff said.
ReplyDeleteLyra you make me happy!
ReplyDeleteAs long as the ponies are happy, I'm happy!
Thanks Lyra, you're awesome. <3
ReplyDeleteA beautiful comic!
Not...gonna...cry..gonna...cry!
ReplyDeleteO my gosh, okay, after reading this comic, a song on my ipod starting playing a harp, the next song a banjo, the next an electric guitar.. IS THIS A COINCIDENCE?!
ReplyDeleteI would find it amusing if her special talent was actually making lyres instead of playing them.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lyra for sharing the magic :')
ReplyDeleteI'm seriously considering having a go at playing the lyre, just to write a piece about this comic.
ReplyDeleteAWWWWWWWW! What a great thing to read before school. Now I'm in a GREAT mood! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is one of those things that really drives to love this fandom even more.
Thanks, Lyra. You're great.
ReplyDeleteThat comic was awe-inspiring. In that it made me go "aww..."
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lyra.
I was reading this, going "aaaaw" in the back of my head...until I reached the last panel. Then it hit me. And I got misty-eyed. Simply beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI have shed a tear.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lyra. :)
Honestly, this fandom...one of the best things that has ever happened to me.
ReplyDeleteGetting home after a long, gloomy day full of emotional stress and doubts.
Then, just one click, and 9 panels.
I feel lighter and happier. I'm smiling. The world is fine again ^-^
It is true that happiness is indeed in the 'small' things.
I can't stop smiling. The thought of it is too wonderful. :)
