Can anyone read what it says on the cover of the book? It looks like the last line says something about Twilight and Princess Celestia, but the rest is too vague to make out for me on my tiny screen.
If you click on 'Download Image' to the right, it gives you the original size. The small text on the book reads:
"Learn to:
-Discover your unique characteristic and/or talent -Understand the meaning and implication of your cutie mark -Find a secure job utilizing your unique characteristic and/or talent
From the person protege of Princess Celestia, Twilight Sparkle"
Earlier tonight we get a fanfic in which Big Mac mercy-kills Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, and Applebloom. Now this. AND I stumbled across a horror of a fanfic titled "Sweet Apple Massacre" yesterday (if you haven't seen it, then unless you love nightmares don't go looking!).
What, is Big Mac replacing Trollestia and Cupcakes Pinkamena as the main jerkass of the fandom?
Big Mac's stealing the show tonight. For me, at least. This comic seriously had me laughing out loud, which naturally pissed off everyone trying to sleep.
This is awesome. Also the 'for dummies' books are normally pretty good to learn how to do something you have no experience in. I have one teaching about MMOs of all things...
Semirelated: I'm convinced that cutie marks have nothing to do with puberty, puberty has nothing to do with knowing what you want to do with your life or your special talent or whatever. I don't see any relations between cutie marks stories and coming of age stories such as part of His Dark Materials and others. Does anyone agree?

ReplyDeleteI would buy a copy of that book.
ReplyDeleteI find it amusing that Twilight apparently writes for-dummies books.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Twilight started writing that book after the CMC's performance at the talent show.
ReplyDeleteAwesome comic. lol
