• Another Pony Speech!

Another pony speech has popped up! This time centering around a persuasive style project, with the intent to sell an idea to the audience.  I think he did a pretty good job, though some videos to back it up would have been neat!

Check it out after the break.

    1. Been awhile since we had a Pony presentation

      Probably because of summer...

    2. Too fucking cute. I'd love to do one of these for my speech class. I'll try to record it also. No one can beat that guy that made a MLP physics report though...

    3. Here's hoping this is one of the awesome ones like the original physics presentation. And not one of the one's that make me cringe.

    4. Nice! Very well done. Kind of long. Although that might not even matter, maybe it was short compared to other presentations.

I particularly like the way you introduced the fact that it was My Little Pony.

    5. I heard a clop, clop, clop at about the 4:04 minute mark...

    6. Wish I could hold a presentation like this for school.
I'd feel LIKE A BOSS telling people about the many adventures the scaled-down four-hooved animals I am entitled to have.

    7. lol, I was just thinking of the funny posts that could of shown when you showed EQD. It was probably a screenshot, but still.

Imagine the 'Bad Mane Days: A Guide to Pony Hair Styling' being the first post. lol

By the way, that is an AMAZING guide.

    10. I TA a college physics lab and before every class, I draw a pony. Students have taken it cautiously well so far.

First week, I drew Twilight using a Faraday ice-pail. Second week, I drew Fluttershy in tears over the previous week's disastrous experiment, on Coulomb's law, saying, "WHY WON'T THIS WORK!?" Last week's experiment was on electric fields; any ideas for who and what I should draw?

    11. That was really awesome... I know I could probably never do something like that (as much as I would love to). Overall, he did a good job.

    12. Pretty awesome. Agreed that it needed videos. Hard to express how awesome rainbow dash is with words.

    13. Thought it was a pretty good speech. I agree, more awesome videos might have been cool, little clips anyway. But still nice presentation.

      Rainbow Dash soaring through lightning.

Sadly, I think this was a tad loosely constructed. Information was just thrown at the audience without a good context for using it, with things introducing the characters so early (saying "I'll tell you about that later" is rarely a good thing) and then just throwing websites at the audience. Most of the information is just confusing and "too much at the same time" for non-bronies.

The buildup was great, and he handled the teacher's questions very well, but most of the information inbetween was just too lose and unrelated.

    15. I started listening to this guy describe the magnitude of reasons why Twilight was sent to Ponyville. Most (3/4) saying that she had to make friends. Congrats brony, but repition does not a strong sentence make.

Either they're saying 'oh my gosh', or my teacher has another student named 'Josh' who sounds just like me and also likes MLP. That's not me, I swear.
Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye.

Draw Rainbow Dash doing something with lightning, possibly from a cloud rather than an "artificial" source?

    19. I'm wrapping up a teaching credential to become a physics teacher and might be getting some substitute teaching jobs in the near future. I'd love to work ponies into my class somehow. Given where I live though, I'd probably be lynched.

    20. The speech was indeed great. The presentation was presented properly. I would love to see the other speech videos. I look forward to hearing and seeing more of these persuasive videos. motivational speaker
