Description: Hello, colts. Remember the 1950's when the movie plots mattered less than trying to go steady with a pony? I do. That's why I've resurrected this old black-and-white sci-fi classic and turned it into a written story! So take that special pony and you in your T-bird to the drive-in and read this movie-turned-writing! Hot dog! (This story includes a short six-paragraph intermission.)LASER PONIES FROM OUTER SPACE!

ReplyDeleteI like that image! :D
ReplyDeleteMight be a cool read. Inb4 "freaken lasers" and "spaaaaaaaace!"
Dat gif! I was never expecting to see something like that on EQdaily, it kind of caught me off guard.
ReplyDeleteSo far, it seems that the image is more popular than the story itself.
ReplyDeleteI suppose I'll give this a read once I'm finished Past Sins.
Having actually watched Plan 9 From Outer Space I can only hope this is just as unintentionally and/or intentionally hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to read this, even if just for the Pinkie Pie .gif.
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite part was the intermission. Now if you don't mind me, I'm going to head to the lobby to get myself a treat.
ReplyDeleteOh Celestia! Pinkie has joined the Martian army! Everypony bring the Derpy Slugs and the Heavy Muffin Guns!
ReplyDeleteYOU PONIES OF EARTH ARE IDIOTS

ReplyDeleteThe pinnacle of 50's B movie sci-fi brilliance, but ponies. If this were a movie it would be mandatory viewing material for everyone in Equestria.
"...it’s best not to talk about Plan 9."
ReplyDeletePlan 9 from Outer Space?
Epic reference.
It's was awesome, for some reason I thought the maretians had Scottish accents.
ReplyDeletemetal slug FTW
ReplyDeleteThis was just about the right amount of terrible.
ReplyDeletewell it's gotta be random if pinkie pie's innit.
ReplyDeleteThat was really quite entertaining! I love terrible old movies and Plan 9 is a favorite of mine. I'd say you captured the feel of a 50s Sci-fi B-Movie quite well.
