Oh man, all three of these were great. I was laughing to myself throughout Chickenquest, and I enjoyed the Paper Wings PMV, and I definitely enjoyed the Carol of the Old Ones.

(I know, it's terribly silly that my attention span can get through doom metal but not punk rock)
VastaKustutaReally, though, it was mostly the video that made me stop watching. It took random images that made sense with the song's literal lyrics, but didn't work thematically - it felt cheap. In my experience, good music videos convey the feeling and intensity of the song; they don't show a random train every time a train is mentioned just because a train was mentioned, if that makes sense. The fact that the lyrics themselves were included as pop-ups exacerbated matters.

Carol of the Old Ones had a...wouldn't say creepy, too gross sounding...but perhaps...foreboding sense of suspense in it. Like that stock cheerful song that has the evil sounding violin slowly build in pitch in the background.
