You both know I have nothing to do with it, right? It's just a bunch of fillies and colts who decided to create an independent militia because they thought I was unjustly treated for the last thousand-some years.
@Luna Wait, you have nothing to due with the New Lunar Republic? I may owe Celestia an apology... Also #3 was very good, but I thought that slot was reserved for the off the wall stuff.
Hardly. Celestia treats the Princess Luna as a play thing and nothing more. She's nothing but a pawn in Celestia's plan to take-over the world and exterminate all non-equestrian life.
Gryphons are the first of her targets for their frequent infighting and lack of magic. They are 'lone wolves' who rarely see eye-to-eye, even on things as simple as 'what to eat for breakfast'. They are a disorderly race and as such, are incapable of forming a militia of their own, little-alone setting-up a feasible defense.
Love the the last two. The first one not so much doesn't really scream what I would have thought of for music for that Specific scene. Just doesn't seem to get the message across for me.
But the other two are actually pretty good and I can see where the can fit in really well. Actually hell I might download them and listen to them at work :)
Why, just last week she took me to the circus! ...no wait, that was a millennia ago.
She took me to the Colts and Roes con- ...no, that was last millennia, too.
She got me a limited edition of a book I've always wanted! ...although there are pages missing, words scribbled out, and the cover's barely hanging by a thread.
1. E# and who is Twillight? 2. SO MANY LUNA SONGS. 3. Needs more variation. Adding stuff is not variation. Doubling repetitive parts, changing the instrument for the repetitive parts, and or changing the octaves for the repetitive parts (or switching up your composing instead of using ctrl+v) is variation and as such would be much appreciated. comments. QUIT WITH THE WHOLE LUNAR EMPIRE VS CELESTIA'SSIDETHATDOESN'THAVEANOFFICIALNAMEYET.
I'm fond of the Celestial/Solar Imperium, myself. It sounds much more dignified. And well, ominous. But hey. It's all just fun and games. In the end, we know that they're both loving sisters. Just ask Egophiliac.
(and if Luna really did rise against the status quo with her ignorant followers it would be the moon for them)
Anyways, I suppose it's here I should contribute actual content. Vanquishing the Ursa Minor is one of the best pieces I've heard in quite a bit. It's a very diverse piece with a number of layers and an excellent climax.
As far as the other two go... well, they're nice. They're just kinda... samey.
as the creator of #3, I will be making another song called The Rise of the New Lunar Republic. just saying so we can calm some stuff down Its just that luna was kinda banished to the moon, so the old lunar republic had to be defeated at some point
Some people seem to be missing the meaning of the title of the third one. All these "followers" of the NEW Lunar Republic already have to assume the Lunar Republic fell, don't they?
It's alright everypony! The Lunar Republic lives! They all left on spaceships in Imperial year 206 and have colonized much of the universe! Celestia still has Equestria though.
Celestia's side DOES have a name. They are the Great Solar Empire. within 100 years they shall control the planet, and then the sun shall never set on the Imperial flag.
Wow number 3 just crashed and burned. I was expecting something epic with a title like "The Final Fall of the Lunar Republic" but instead I got a badly repetitive and mediocre piano recital. Back to the drawing board with that one bub.
I wanted so bad to correct your French sentence that I opened a blogger account. It should be : "Vive l'anarchie de Pinkie Pie!". Nevertheless, I am quite sure the N.L.R. won't disagree with a secession of ponykind, under the non-rule of Ms. Pie. We'll live under democracy, after all, so it's alright. Though, I seriously doubt Celestia would agree... "D'you like bananas?"
@Luna Lies! 'Tis all lies! This isn't our Luna, it never was! It's a Celestial spy trying to reduce our morale to ashes! Allow me to ask you one question my fellow republicans; did anyone see Luna since The New Lunar Republic has risen? Where was she during the Gala? Isn't this a little suspicious? Do not get fooled my fellow brethren! Luna needs our help more than ever! RISE AGAINST THE SOLAR EMPIRE! RISE AGAINST THE TYRANT CELESTIA! FOR LUNA! FOR LUNAR REPUBLIC! AND FOR BETTER FUTURE!

Forever for The Lunar Republic!
ReplyDeleteFor the Lunar Republic! Down with the Solar Empire! All hail Luna, mistress of the night!
ReplyDeleteDown with that tyrant bitch Celestia!
ReplyDeleteI may be a loyalist, but I really really don't give a ****. I love all Ponies.
ReplyDelete@Luna Wait, you have nothing to due with the New Lunar Republic? I may owe Celestia an apology...
ReplyDeleteAlso #3 was very good, but I thought that slot was reserved for the off the wall stuff.
@Necromanteion
ReplyDeleteLove an tolerance man, love and tolerance
The final fall of the Lunar Republic occurred shortly after its partisans realized that republics do not, by definition, have princesses...
ReplyDeleteThe Lunar Republic can never be defeated! so long as ponies have free will, there will always be resistance to celestia!
ReplyDeleteLunacy edition!
ReplyDeleteLoved the #2 sounds so peaceful
ReplyDeleteThat last song is blasphemy. Pure blasphemy.
ReplyDeleteLemonite, all republics fall. Even those ruled by Gods.
ReplyDeleteCelestia and Luna rule over Equestria, together as loving sisters.
ReplyDeleteAnyone who says otherwise is silly.
I like all 3
ReplyDeleteViva Luna Republic!!!
1. patchy at parts, but good overall
ReplyDelete2. stands out from other Luna fanmusic, nice
3. repetitive
@frybrain
ReplyDeleteTruth.
Frybrain speaks it.
@frybrain
ReplyDelete'Together'?
'Loving'?
Hardly.

All Hail Princess Luna!
ReplyDeleteFor the Lunar Republic!
how about we call Celestia supporters "Loyalists" since that is what they are.
ReplyDeleteas the creator of #3, I will be making another song called The Rise of the New Lunar Republic.
ReplyDeletejust saying so we can calm some stuff down

Psh, forget both of 'em. Up with P.A.R.T.Y.! Who needs leadership when everyone can just have fun. . . FOREVUUURRRRR.

ReplyDeleteI liked the first one, sounded pretty decent overall.
ReplyDeleteSecond one was alright. Found it to be maybe slightly boring sometimes, but it wasn't a bad piece. Relaxing and mellow.
Third wasn't as dynamic as I was hoping for, but it's okay. Also, long live The Lunar Republic!
The first one was pretty good, like Octavia said. Not bad at all.
ReplyDeleteSecond one was alright I guess.
The third sounded good, but there was some hiss in the background that was distracting from the overall experience.
The final fall of the Lunar Republic is just that. The final time it will fall.
ReplyDeleteLONG LIVE THE NEW LUNAR REPUBLIC
.....Solar Empire or Lunar Republic?
ReplyDeleteWhat happens if I say neither and encourage peace instead? A humble Repairstallion such as myself isn't really one for conflict or politics.
@Buster
ReplyDeleteTribes of Harmony?
Wow number 3 just crashed and burned. I was expecting something epic with a title like "The Final Fall of the Lunar Republic" but instead I got a badly repetitive and mediocre piano recital. Back to the drawing board with that one bub.
ReplyDeleteFirst was awesome, not so much the third one the piano was a little too flat sounding for me.
ReplyDeleteNice effort though.
Not going to comment on the second one because its mine but I'm glad people liked it.
Hmmm, P.A.R.T.Y. you say?.....Vive l'anarchie de la Pinkie Pie!!!. See you later Luna, I'm going to party like never before!
ReplyDelete1. Barely heard the music
ReplyDelete2. No FiM connection except for the images.
3. 5 minutes stuck in loop isn't music, cut in half and make something happen.
One star for non FiM content, except for the first one but I had to "listen" for the music to hear it, very boring.
