Ah... The first two are eletronic. (before you say anything, yes, I'm aware that it probably called something else, I just don't know what) So when do we get some power metal ponies?
Number 3 is nothing else than the national anthem of the Russian Federation (some people might simply say "Russia" instead), same melody, same length, changed lyrics.
LONG LIVE OUR EQUINE MOTHERLAND LONG LIVE EMPIRE SO GRAND LONG LIVE EQUESTRIA UNITED AND FREE STRONG IN OUR FRIENDSHIP, TRIALLED BY FIRE LONG MAY THAT VIOLET FLAG INSPIRE SHINING IN GLORY FOR PONIES TO SEE
The Shadowbolts Guise was a tad slow, and repetitive, but I liked it. It had a certain mischievous quality to it.
The Wonderbolts Show had more energy to it, but I'm guessing it was by the same creator, because it was like house techno in that it made repeats... a LOT. But, I like house techno, so I liked these. :3
That last one sounds like a song from Fallout, or rather, a radio-quality recording from the 60's. I like it, even though I can't understand all the lyrics.
Now I'm tempted to make an Equestria flag, hang it somewhere and play this song nearby, then watch how everyone reacts.
#3 should definitely sung by all bronies on the next con Lauren will attend. I can imagine it; Lauren enters the scene, all the bronies stand up and one pulls out Equestrian flag and salute singing the anthem. So fucking awesome!
I never would have thought that recognizing the Soviet national anthem would make me feel old. Still, pretty awesome. If I could actually sing, I'd learn that song.
I like the other national anthem better. It seemed more like a legit national anthem. This one could be a patriotic song, but it doesn't quite have the gravitas of an anthem.

Really liking those first two. Hope there's more music coming from that guy!
ReplyDelete#3 = Epic as hell, but a bit long to be a national anthem.....
ReplyDeleteOr maybe I'm missing something.
Not bad, but I think the #3 would be better if it was just instrumental.

Why is it that I've never felt proud or patriotic, but I would adopt that as my anthem?
ReplyDelete@VozDeSuenos
ReplyDeleteelementary my dear Watson, because ponies.
First two were decent. First was a little boring I thought. Second was cool.
ReplyDeleteAh, yeah, this song. It's alright, sounds like an anthem. Shoot, was beat to "FOR THE MOTHERLAND!" :P

ReplyDeleteI really like this one; perhaps repetitive, but I like the mysterious, mischievous, and menacing feel to it. >:)
ReplyDeleteThe second was also very good; a bit faster paced and not as long but very awesome.
...why am I thinking now that it would be awesome to see a mid-air fight between the shadowbolts and wonderbolts?
I think the voice on the third was a bit overdone, but you're right, Wolf: we should sing it at the next con!
#3:
ReplyDeleteoh wow, ohhhhhhh wow! My full respect to that man/men.

I swear to Celestia, for #3 I looked at the picture and started singing the Russian anthem in my head. And then I clicked on it and GUESS WHAT PLAYED!
