Well, #2 is ...... interesting to say the least. Can't really say much else about it.
I find #3 better than the original, mainly because I have had nightmares about Barbara Streisand. I tend to go to strange places when she is brought up.
I TOTALLY DARE SOMEPONY TO DO A YTPMV OF THE SONG MADEON POP CULTURE BUT WITH PONY SOUNDS INSTEAD OF THE REMIXED SONGS.. Don't get me wrong ponies, this would take tons of work, deciphering all of the sounds, autotuning and changing pony words, (not to mention instruments) and all that jazz, but A BILLION INTERNETZ TO THE PONIES WHO CAN. I have seen enough material to prove that you all can do it.
@LoLZorZs If you have any suggestions, I would be willing to listen to them. And I went with a bluesy rock song (What kind of pop music are YOU listening to?) to have a nice, firm contrast with the orchestra in the background. But if you had a better idea, I'd probably be willing to try it out.
Thanks for commenting everyone. I'm glad people enjoyed (or were confused by) my song. Any feedback (including the comment this is a response to) is greatly, greatly appreciated. =D
#2 is an intriguing concept - A night scene with ambient background music, but Luna keeps flying by randomly with her headphones turned up to 11. The question is, why is she constantly flying by our position? Well executed in any case. Feels like a scene I could see/hear happening in a pony game when stargazing.
Indeed, the second one was an interesting but cute little piece. I like mellow music with a nice serene nightscape as a backdrop for it. The bluesy rock song spliced in was an interesting choice of contrast, but eh, why not? lol
Well the sound is Luna listening to her iPod, so it is either Luna flying around or (this is what I imagined, like it were a movie) the camera is panning around the night sky, and sometimes it gets close enough to Luna that you can hear her music while she is chilling on a cloud.
I loved the second one, it really makes you imagine what is happening, rather than just having music play.
@Senator Myth Revolution #9 meets an orchestra and the happy in-game version of Still Alive. Mind=Blown. (I know that's not actually it, but that's what it reminds me of. Polka's a better contrast to orchestra than blues rock, anyway.)And all by that one amicable fellow from a while back. Nice work!

ReplyDeleteSo let's see #2 has an instrumental song together with a pop song(i think) running in the background which supposedly is what Luna is listening to?
ReplyDeleteYeeeh when i see ILuna i wanna hear what Luna would actually listen to
#2 Is a little haunting like you're in a deserted town that has a few quiet radios still on as you walk by.
ReplyDeleteAnd that picture, is that in the next Drawfriend or what? I must now what that is about.
Can someone please explain the flying orb of sound coming from no where in #2?

I really liked the first one a lot. Definitely need to save that somewhere.
ReplyDeleteThee 2nd one was also nice. Interesting is the best word I can think of right now. But in a good way of course.

ReplyDeleteThird was a fun little cute song too.
1. as soon as the guitar kicked in, HNNG YES
ReplyDelete2. listened to it without headphones, problem? same generic Luna fan music
3. lolwat
Soul Eater pic was from me <3 I worked hard on that.

#1 Oh God yes,the singing turret XD.
ReplyDelete#1 omg, did I just hear auto-tuned Pinkie Pie?... LOL cool!
ReplyDelete#1 Interesting use of the vocals
ReplyDelete#2 The contrast seemed a little weird at first. I listened to the orchestral-only version and I liked it better.
#3 Again, interesting use of the vocals for this one as well.
#1 and #3.
ReplyDeleteThe first was good except the vocals were a bit warbly.
ReplyDeleteThe second was a neat idea.
The third made me laugh a little.
@Ike Jager
ReplyDeleteThe picture used is from drawfriend #152, picture #9. It's a cross-over with an anime called Soul Eater.
#2 oddly reminds me of Minecraft
ReplyDelete3-rd one. I was hoping for some autotune
ReplyDeleteauthor: I am disappoint
1. oonts oonts oonts oonts
ReplyDelete2. somewhat odd
3. YOU HAVE TO TELL ME WHAT THE ORIGINAL SONG IS!!!

The second one is pretty cool. It makes me think of Phantasy Star Online.
