I Bring Da LULZ has released yet another single, this time without any form of sexual innuendo involving ponies! At least I don't think there is any...
Sorry, running on autopilot there. Great song. Maybe this could be Eurobeat Brony's placeholder project - working on all of this brony's stuff until Season 2...
I almost cried as well. But I'm a real softy, especially when it comes to music. Nice, mellow and soft little song. His voice isn't the best I've heard, but he's pretty good. Especially considering, like Anon above me said, he's a rapper too. I liked it.
Isn't this the same guy that did the animation with Trollestia sending everyone to the moon? How the hell can he be this talented at both ends of the spectrum?!
This is now officially my favorite pony song. Congratulations. And no, I don't remember a time when I had so many nice people I could be in a community with. This place is amazing.
As for the song, it was light, yet carried a heavy message. His voice is so soothing, powerful, and yet, carries his words so well that I would have a hard time finding a replacement. Be heard, my friend, be heard.
This is a fantastic song, and a marvelous filk. I think that's what it would qualify as, anyway, it's not trying to be humorous, so 'parody' wouldn't fit. Anyway, I tend not to like filks, but this one's really quite well done. I guess a subtle touch is what it takes to do them right.

*cheers* *sniff* Lovely song, really lovely.
ReplyDeleteNice. Melody and rhyme scheme reminded me a bit of a mix between Sondheim and one of Garrison Keillor's songs on a Prairie Home Companion.

ReplyDeleteOh Try to Remember, Y U such a good song for people to change words on?

ReplyDeleteTHIS. I like her less as a character just because every time I see her, I picture the fact that she's somebody's dream bondage slave or something.
Half of them don't even own up to it either, they just allude to it: "I just want to snuggle her!" Somehow that's even creepier.
Ponies with additional class? In the words of the Jeffersons theme song, "MOVIN' ON UP!"
ReplyDeleteHaha, My Little Apprentice, My Little Pony. I get it.
