Long live Lyra and Bon Bon. I love you ponies. That song made me smile. All I needed was to see your names and I was already clicking. But I can't be the only one who pronounces Lyra's name with a short vowel.
Griffin Village is a masterpiece, though the second one is my favorite, quite fun to listen to as I just love Fluttershy's cheering. The gala remix seemed seemed a bit cacophonous to me, the melody of the song was almost lost at points. Overall though, it was enjoyable.
JackleApp said they're making an entire album of this Griffin Village stuff. Since I love Owl City to death, this makes me so incredibly happy. /)^3^(\
The other two are also good, but you just can't compete with that.
First one, amazing vocals amazing drop. 2nd one. Interesting chiptune stuff. cant comment much on it cause i dont listen to chiptunes to often 3rd one, PONY TRANCE! finally, done pretty damn good too!
1 was awesome, love full, original songs. 2 was catchy, reminded me of Sonic or Megaman, and enough sampling to keep things interesting. 3 was... nice.
Digging back into the archives to leave a comment saying how lovely a song "Summer" is. This song has brought tears to my eyes on more days than one. Touching, inspiring, well played, and featuring a great fan couple, this has since become a fan classic. The lyrics do a wonderful job telling a story without ever having to explain details, and the music is the epitome of a summer chill jam. I admit I would do some work on the vocals, but it is still a song that just shouts brony.

ReplyDeleteCheers is decent. Like the Yes, right, good!" part. lol
At The Gala remix is... eh, so/so. Wasn't doing a whole lot for me personally. Not too shabby though.
#1 Love it, I love Jackle's music

ReplyDeleteBut then I Griffin Village.
Clever pony.
The Griffin Village one is surprisingly awesome. Reminds me a little of Owl City... Which is probably the point. *facehoof*
