I'm seeing nothing but a big yellow triangle for two of them.
"Hello. My name is anonymous and I'm a douchebag." Douchebags Anonymous: "Hello anonymous. What's your story?" "I've got a narrow-minded view of the world and what people should like. I hate it when someone has tastes different from my own. My life is not complete unless I insult people for liking a well done, funny show with lessons about friendship and kindness. Because I hate ponies and want the world to be as black as my heart." DA: "The first step is admitting you are a douchebag." "I'm also a racist too." DA: "Get out."
Sometimes it feels like im the only one who doesn't like the beatles and who finds them really over rated. (also im not the above trollin anon, that guy is a douche)
@Treebohr Evidently there are studies that prove that listening and enjoying the Beatles means that you are indeed a bundle of sticks.
Anyways, why can't we just ban anonymous posters? Fuck, this is getting ridiculous. These assholes have been spamming pretty much like every fucking page on EqD.
Not everything by the Beatles was gold. I like their earlier stuff, but there's no denying the wonder of songs like A Day in the Life and Eleanor Rugby.
The idea is fantastic and lyrics are pretty good, but the music is pretty bad. All these songs are difficult to play incorrectly and they manged to do it.
Noone should forget that the Beatles kinda INVENTED Pop-Music, and noone can deny the quality of (most of) their songs. I like all of these, they did a pretty decent job, and nice lyrics. I really like the vocals in 1 and 3, very Beatles-like feeling.
Well, it's a decent effort, but their sense of rhythm is kinda painful. I can handle drums being slightly off (it's even sort of endearing to hear minor flubs on non-triggered blast beats), but this was... pretty bad at times. The vocals aren't fantastic (bit nasal on the last one, not gritty enough on Helter Skelter, and the accent is eh), but doing the Beatles ain't easy so that's okay. Lyrics ain't bad at all.
Most of their stuff is awesome, but Why Won't You Love Me // Helter Skelter was really sub-par. Still, it isn't exactly an easy song to play (or sing). Little Octavia and While Double Bass Gently Weeps are awesome though!
I will have to agree with my semi-fellow anon here, altercation, doing that would just hit a lot of innocent ponies. Instead I recommend simply ignoring the trolls. - Vegetalss4
Twist and Shout becomes Twist is cute "just try this peppermint,BAYBEE~! Twist is cute (i don't agree, wat)P-peppermint sticks, yeaah~ Twist is cute(that just your opinion..." ....dear god what have I done?!
1 is my favorite :P One thing is.. you need to watch your vowels esp on "DEEsigner" since the "de" is on a strong beat; when that happens, you have to do "DEH" instead of "DEE" Also, you seem to have trouble hitting those high notes ("Hey Spike" was really well done, though) but i guess this is good for practice and the rhythm (or lack thereof, no offense) in "Fashion Designer" kinda made it hard to enjoy. But, either way, you guys are doing a great job with the lyrics, your harmonies sound great, and we look forward to MOAR! :D
I want to like these, but ooh, those vocals. The first wasn't too bad, but the second and third did not please my ears. Shame, because the previous Beatles covers were better, and I was happy to see more.
The mix needs to be cleaned up a bit. I would recommend recording individual tracks for each part and then doing several vocal cuts and try to find the best sounding pieces to add to the mix. If you have trouble hitting certain notes I would use a very small amount of auto tuning. I love the effort though.
When you look at the comments threads here, all the idiocy near exclusively come from anonymous posters. I really don't see the big issue with setting up an OpenID or Google Account. I won't pretend that forcing anonymous users to actually make accounts to post here will stop most of this, but forcing them to jump through a few hoops to spout their drivel would at least dissuade a good portion of it.
If you really have something meaningful to say, I don't think you would be greatly inconvenienced by having to sign in before posting your comment. Presumably, you don't do it because you don't feel like extending the effort. So apply that same logic to trolls.
People who actually have something to add will have to bite the bullet, while a few trolls may just consider the effort of setting up an account too bothersome to go through with spewing their shit. At least providing some kind of barrier (any kind of barrier) for entry and stripping away a good portion of the anonymity parasprites enjoy would have some effect.
Also, anonymous posting bugs me because when someone is replying to an anonymous poster on a page prior to the current one, there's literally no indicator of who that person is replying to, so the context becomes difficult to discern.
Shit, look at the shitstorm with the YouTube thing. I can assure you at least half of the trolling comments wouldn't have happened if they were forced to make a Google account.
Any plans for Day in the Life? I guess it would have to be a little cheerier, maybe about Twilight reading instead of being about someone committing suicide, and you'd need an orchestra... but these are details, the idea is sound.

Seth I recommend you just stop the blog. That way you can fap to Trixie in the blockbuster restroom more often.
ReplyDeleteFashion Designer is full of win.
ReplyDeleteI request "Twilight Tripper" (Day Tripper)
ReplyDeleteWas never a fan of the Beatles but I can appreciate the effort it took to make these, awesome job guys.
ReplyDelete@halofan01 I request you stop being a Beatles loving faggot.
ReplyDeleteThat project is amazing! They're coming up with some really creative lyrics for the songs. You should post more of their videos.
ReplyDeleteFashion Designer is great. For the most part, I think the vocals need to be at least 20% louder and clearer.
ReplyDeleteGood lord, what won't be ponified XD
ReplyDeleteAwesome as always ^^
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteReally? You have nothing better to do than stalk the site and insult us? That's...really sad actually...
Anyways, these are well done. I enjoyed them
@followerofluna You have nothing better to do than listen to shitty pony versions of overrated faggotry.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous As they say in Equestria, "neigh".
ReplyDelete@Anonymous As they in Africa..... oh wait most of those Niggers are dead.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous Not really actually, in fact there are probably more people living in Africa at this time than an other time in history.
ReplyDeleteAs i a beatles fan i like this its very well done
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteYou should follow their example.
@Anonymous It's funny cuz your implying I should be a dead Nigger! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
ReplyDeleteThese are okay, but the original versions are way better.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous I'm even sure which comment/person you're referring to.
ReplyDeleteGah! Too many Anons!
@Anonymous How exactly does liking The Beatles make one a faggot?
ReplyDeleteI'd like to be, and apple tree, in a-a-appleoosa, in the shade...
ReplyDelete*listening to music*
ReplyDelete*ignoring the comment flamewar*
Life is good.
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha, you dick swallowing, shit eating, bum fag you.
Ha haaaaaaa.
These aren't bad, though it's a bit hard to hear the lyrics over the music.
ReplyDeleteI tried to ponify I Dig a Pony, but then I realized, hey, it was already ponied enough.
Remember trolling anon, we love you. <3

ReplyDelete@Altercation Really? I could have sworn I was a human. *Looks at own name* Oh...
ReplyDelete@Altercation But what if I'm just too lazy to sign in with my Google Account? D=
ReplyDeleteI wrote one verse of a pony version of Lowlife by Theory of a Dead Man. I need someone with talent to help me make it a song.
ReplyDeleteNeeds more Dashie in the Sky with Rainbooms.
ReplyDeleteThe idea is fantastic and lyrics are pretty good, but the music is pretty bad. All these songs are difficult to play incorrectly and they manged to do it.
ReplyDeleteI liked these. Good singing, good lyrics, good instrument playing. And Paperback Writer is one of my favorite Beatles songs.
ReplyDeleteHow can so many people hate the Beatles? The Beatles were my favorite band.
ReplyDelete@Altercation
ReplyDeleteSince when are all anonymous the same? Like some random account would stop someone from being a douche...

I love the effort that's being invested in these songs. I just wish the vocals were a bit louder in some of the songs.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard the originals to these songs in such a very long time that it feels kinda odd hearing ponified versions now.
ReplyDeleteLove ponified songs with new pony lyrics though. These are all pretty decent. Especially liked the first and third ones.
i love the beatles, but i quite honestly don't like the covers here...
ReplyDeleteI want to like these, but ooh, those vocals. The first wasn't too bad, but the second and third did not please my ears. Shame, because the previous Beatles covers were better, and I was happy to see more.

ReplyDeleteRule #14: Do not argue with trolls. It means that they win.
ReplyDeleteI like "Hey Spike" the best.
I love the Beatles, but I didn't really like these. Ah well. Good job to the ones who made them, though.
