This is apparently pretty old judging by the date, but I never did post it.. so have some more official animator pony art! This guy is a storyboard artist for the show, and apparently drew these for the daughters of a friend of his.
You can find his site here!

ReplyDelete@Roman500
ReplyDeleteWhat is this "sleep" you speak of? Does it taste like enchiladas?
Hey its 11 Am here and im bored, so thx ^^
ReplyDeleteRarity's tail.
ReplyDeleteFabulous as always.
Dumb fabri... I mean, postal strike. But these are indeed very cute, eeyup. :)
ReplyDeleteDumb Sleep
ReplyDeleteI love seeing all the stuff from behind the scenes. It really helps to see all the effort that goes into the show at all levels. It allows me to appreciate it all the more.
ReplyDeleteGazes in awe at the art.
ReplyDeleteScrolls down, see's Booster Gold on a cereal box.
Life is complete.
Has anypony here ever heard of this thing called... "sleep"?
ReplyDeleteNo sleep required.
ReplyDeleteDisregard sleep, acquire pastel-colored equines.
ReplyDeleteI like that second pic. Apple Bloom just completely captivated by Applejack's..."I don't give a fly, I stand on two legs" attitude I suppose
ReplyDeleteAPPAJACK AWW YEAH
ReplyDeleteHis friend's daughters have good tastes in ponies.
That's the cutest Apple Bloom picture I have seen yet!
ReplyDeleteThese are pretty nice.
ReplyDeleteSo he was hesitant to come on board, then he found out the show was awesome.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't mention the brony fandom at all... *sigh*
Nice touch with the enamour'd spike
ReplyDeleteDisregard sleep. Accquire pony themed hallucinations.
ReplyDeleteHeh that was pretty cool of him, does he know about EqD?
ReplyDelete@twilightlover21aw you make it sound so cool, wish i could stay awake that long.
ReplyDeleteThese are pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteLooking at this guy's credentials, he also worked on storyboards for Ed Edd n' Eddy.
ReplyDeleteIn other words, yet another individual in the MLP credits who has been responsible for, or at least has been involved in, a decent piece of my childhood and past interests. The more I discover these kinds of things, the more amazed I am by just how experienced the Friendship is Magic crew is.
"So he was hesitant to come on board, then he found out the show was awesome."
ReplyDeleteCan't blame him. If I had to draw G3.x for a living I think I'd consider pumping gas instead.
Rarity looks so pretty. I love that kind of things.
ReplyDeleteHey gang,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout out on the site! I've been working on season 2 of the series as the Storyboard Supervisor, and I can tell you (without giving anything away, of course) there's some nifty things coming up! I know everyone here really appreciates all the love and support from the fan base. Keep up the good work!
