Look guys, I'm flattered you want to make me an official pony. It must have been a pain in the neck to install those cameras in the birds nest in my back yard. But you must have gotten a bad exposure or something because the cutie mark is all wrong. Attached is a photo taken at a party a few months ago. Please take the time to correct this inaccuracy; I really can't afford to be misrepresented in public.
Also who do I talk to about that upcoming role in Season 3?

And you are?
ReplyDeleteThose official toys still both creep me out and make me gag in disgust.
ReplyDeleteI love the new label. "I Don't Know What." So simple and informational.
ReplyDeleteNo one can see the Great and Powerful Hasbro! Not no way not no how! /Wizard of Oz lol
ReplyDeleteHah, but it's close, right? Right?! :P
@Rocks with Salt
ReplyDelete"Posted by Phoe at 11:01 PM"
Phoe! Phoe phoe phoe phoe.
ReplyDeletePhoe is the best pony blogprincess on the site.
(Also, only, but hey! Who's counting?)
...As I said previously, Phoe posts are best post.
ReplyDeletealso inb4 official "magic yellow-and-red box" toys
Hasbro needs to look into a whole new direction for their toys. I would pay anyone with one of those fancy 3D printers and moderately nice painting skill $100 before I gave Hasbro a penny.
ReplyDeleteUm wat, go to bed phoe
ReplyDeleteI'd buy a brushie Phoe...
ReplyDeleteThat pony looks like she should be in a sonic cross over fan fiction- Her cutie mark looks like a caos emerald
ReplyDeleteWhy cant the toys be actually of some level of quality? They all look horrid imo.
ReplyDeletes'ok, Hasbro fails at cutie marks all the time. Just talk to Cheerilee...
ReplyDeleteLittle bit of acetone and some acrylics, and boom. A true Phoe...ny.
ReplyDeletePhoeny. Hah. It's a pun. Who knew....
@crazyredemu
ReplyDelete>emerald
>pink gem, brilliant cut.
wat
This is getting ridiculous. I'm not sure if Hasbro is just unwilling to make merchandise for a community that "may" not be around long. I'm not sure how long product design and everything takes, but they could at least try a bit harder.
ReplyDeleteupcomming role what!? :D
ReplyDeletewheres the proof thats suppose to you phoe?
ReplyDelete@fakeguy......No idea what your post ment but in the comics and cartoons the caos emeralds look like that.
ReplyDeletechaos emerald pink gem pony what

ReplyDeleteThe Mcdonalds Toys were better.
ReplyDeletei second that..the mc donalds toys have better quallity correct shape etc
ReplyDeleteso why is it that the hasbaro ones litteraly look like they were made by monkeys?....there down right....fightening...looks like there still useing the g1 maps to make em
seriously lets get a 3d printer and make our own...you can even 3d print in color!!!!!
@Crazyredemu
ReplyDeleteEMEROWDS
I don't understand. What is this about Phoe being an official pony?
ReplyDelete@Woof Hooves
ReplyDeleteI saw a video of those things, it's 'amazing' that they were more accurate than the 'official' toy.
Hasbro really needs to just make more molds of the ones they distributed to McDonalds. Forget the fancy brush able hair and focus on having something that actually looks like the franchise you're trying to plug.
I'm curious, is that a 3" figure or a 6" one? If it's the 6" fashion ones then WHEN DOES IT ARRIVE IN STORES? NEED NOW!!1!!
ReplyDelete"Look on the bright side. Only your hair is pink."
ReplyDelete-Celestia.
Don't worry Phoe, now that you have your Chaos Emerald cutie mark you can stop the evil Eggmane!
ReplyDelete@Alli Kat
ReplyDeleteI'd buy Phoe. Also, I really don't know how to pronounce her name o.o My brother said it was pronounced "Fee", but that O is kinda throwing me off. Oh well, brother has a better grasp of the english language than I do!
@Tast
ReplyDeleteI've been pronouncing it like Foe.
So close, yet so far.
ReplyDelete@Detoxicity
ReplyDeleteIt takes like a year or more I heard, so it's possible Hasbro is doing their best to tap the money pit which sprang up out of nowhere that is the brony fandom but it's going to take time.
Still, you have to remember that the older audience isn't exactly their target audience. Frankly just give me some official plushies of the mane 6 and other characters and I'll be a happy nerd.
I just realized...this toy is WHITE.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Hasbro is trying to prove to the toy stores that a white pony will sell just fine, and when it does they'll start selling a properly white Celestia!
/dream
Toy isn't too far from a custom Filly Celestia.
ReplyDeleteAlso, don't flatter yourself Phoe. But nice try. =P
@Arcane Scroll I saw the 6inch Fashion Rarity at Walmart today.
ReplyDelete@Tast
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely Fee. Like Phoenix (Fee-nix) without the nix.
Anyway - Custom EQD blogponies, go! Or just the 'Lyra and Phoe's Fun and Games' boxed set. . . I would buy that.
Phoe is a girl? O.o
ReplyDelete@Matt Dusza
ReplyDeleteThanks, but I have about four of those waiting for modding. I'm needing a white pegasus for a custom I wanted to work on.
Rarity is a most awesome pony to mod though, if only she had wings.
@MrSchinken
ReplyDeleteHahaha, priceless!
So, am I the only one who thinks that the Mcdonalds ponies look ugly and these ponies look adorable?
ReplyDeleteHow about just taking some aceton, whipe out the cutie mark and replace it with yours? :)
ReplyDelete@Pinkemon
ReplyDeleteNope, you're not. Although I do love my Cheerilee McDonald's toy :)
HASBRO, Y U NO MAKE ACCURATE TOYS FFS.
ReplyDeleteI mean really though, considering bronies/people other than 7 year old girls who can't tell the difference realistically make up 75% of this fanbase.
Incoming custom Phoe pony.
ReplyDeleteAt least they are getting closer. They got your species, right hair and right skin colour. They still haven't gotten close to a Derpy toy. Its really could be worse.
ReplyDeleteYOU ARE THE LUCKIEST PONY ALIVE!!!
ReplyDeleteThose toys are still kinda creepy. That said, a good quality Twilight plushie, with glasses so I could make her read a book, would loosen the old purse strings.
ReplyDeleteWhile I think molded hair ponies look better than the brushable hair ones, brushable hair ponies are the core of the MLP toy franchise. Since G1, one of the main features of MLP is brushable hair. To remove them is like removing transformation from Transformers.
ReplyDeleteAll I want is some anatomically accurate pony toys (i.e, they look like they actually do in the show) and mane-6 plushies that don't look horribly deformed. Then I can be happy.
ReplyDeletePhoe is the best pony.
ReplyDeleteThis might just be a pipe dream bur I wish they'd make the brush hair ponies mane would look more show accurate (length color different colors in the right place ect)
ReplyDelete@ComicGuy89
ReplyDeleteThe funny thing is, they actually released some Transformers who could not transform IIRC.
@Gamerlord
ReplyDeleteAnd I just found a link to prove it:
http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Action_Master
Nice! I bet someone at hasbro is laughing their head off.
ReplyDeleteCongrats.
ReplyDeleteThat mane. WHY, HASBRO, WHY?
ReplyDeleteSo...
ReplyDeleteWhen Hasbro was talking about "Brony toys" back then they really mean it.
:U
Just wait till Phoe, Cereal and Seth become pony action figures !!!
ReplyDeleteWell, Seth will be a box. But a pony box !
So, when does this come to Target? I need one >.>
ReplyDeletewow Phoe, that's pretty leet
ReplyDelete@Calnos
ReplyDeleteThis is just too perfect.
wonder what i'd looklike as a pony...
ReplyDeleteI never thought I'd even be thinking about making customs but to make Phoe and only needing to change the cutie mark. Oh I am tempted. I think I could also make a decent Seth cube but what does Cereal look like in Pony form?
ReplyDeletethe show is really great but the toys just ruin it.... i hate that
ReplyDelete
