Ooh cool! Although I did like the pinkie keen one a bit better.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! :D.
ReplyDeleteI liked the picture where rainbow dash expression changes.
Their characters come through so well just in the pictures.
ReplyDeleteIf I'd never seen MLP and you showed me that page, I'd have a pretty good idea of what Pinkie and Rainbow Dash were like. So awesome.
How is it that Pinkie manages to stay so adorable whilst eating who-knows-what? Also, Twilight's face in the first picture looks... peculiar, to say the least.

ReplyDeletePlau!
The fact that both 15 and 21 are being featured has anything to do with both episodes having the same writer.
ReplyDeleteThis is old news. WTF.
ReplyDeleteWait... Ed, Edd, and Eddy storyboard artists work on this show?
ReplyDeleteThis make me love this show even more!

ReplyDeleteUhh, Seth? Over "a" Barrel. A.

ReplyDeleteIt's a good thing you pointed that out, I would _never_ have figured out which episode he was talking about otherwise. [/sarcasm]
Fun stuff to look at, although it also feels a bit like poking at a slowly healing wound, because it reminds me we still have months to go for season 2. Sigh.

Nice nod to Pokemon there with Twilight Sparkle's "rageform." Makes her look exactly like a Rapidash...

ReplyDeleteOr the arcade game U.N. Squadron/Area 88 which is where the pokemon was ripped off from.
@ Arcane Scroll
ReplyDeleteI still have my original copy of that game for the SNES. Played the ever-loving day out it back then. I got a chance to play it in the arcades when I was stationed overseas in Japan many, many years later. Brought back so many memories.
I'd still put my money that the reference is to Pokemon before U.N. Squadron, however. Also: that's doubtful that Rapidash is a rip-off of the game's title screen. A bit too farfetch'd for that one. Coincidence? Sure. Outright copypasta? Not buying it.
Heck, if you could provide a link that gives solid evidence that it's a sly homage on GameFreak's part to an awesome Capcom game, I'd happily check it out.

Which one matches better? Personally, I think she looks more like the flaming unicorn from Area 88 myself.
