Rofl, these are very interesting.
VastaKustutaPardon my ignorance, but what is "roarenting?"
VastaKustutaIs that what they call Spike's magic burp scroll teleportation?
Really the proper pluralization is "pegasus ponies" since Pegasus is the proper name for a specific creature and cannot be pluralized.
VastaKustuta@Aidinthel
VastaKustutaBut of course that's extremely awkward so my vote goes to "pegasi".
@Ion Storm
VastaKustutaIt's a joke from the first issue. "Roarenting" is the use of dragon fire to spread CDs/instruments/household utilities in a parody of torrenting.
Lol that is a... Rather interesting place to put rarity's wii mote
VastaKustutaNeeds a better layout.

VastaKustutaThat's a Wii-mote? It looks like she's about to help AJ with a Tampon :D
I'm torn. Twilight is correct on her plurals (platypus is platypodes if you're curious) but I have to agree with Pinkie Pie; "I don't want to live in a world where octopi is not a word."
VastaKustuta...
I will keep calling winged ponies pegasi
This was even more incredible than the first one. Keep up the good work (or make it better if possible :P ), EI!
VastaKustutaWho's Fluttershy trying to kid? She's the evil enchantress.
VastaKustutaShe's an evil enchantress and she does evil dances, and if you look her in the eyes she'll put you in trances!
Pinkie knew but it was already to late for her.
Also Octopi is a legimitate word and always will be. We should just use both Pegasuses and Pegasi, we already do something similar with Griffons and Gryphons.
Then there's the whole gray vs. grey issue. I don't want to relive the five hours of my life debating which one to use or is the more politically correct spelling.
By the way it was all a gray matter anyway, also I don't see why people believe that Rainbow put the R in Gray.
I can't help but wonder if this was made in Adobe InDesign, or Publisher. It looks like newspapers I've made using InDesign for school projects, but I've never made a newspaper thing in Publisher, I don't even know if you can anyhow. I also have to agree with Teilzeitbernd that it needs a better layout.
VastaKustuta@AJ
VastaKustutaBefore you say anything, AJ is my nickname, and it's completely coincidental (sometimes annoying) that Applejack's nickname is AJ as well.
This stuff is golden. As for the word debate,in the English language we bend the rules of grammar arbitrarily all the time, so let's just go with what's easiest: pegasi.
VastaKustutaIt's a fun little read. I agree it could benefit from a slightly nicer layout.
VastaKustutaMr. Johnson beat me to pointing out the proper greek plurals of octopus and platypus, but octopi is the plural that the Vancouver Aquarium uses, and that's the plural that I'll use. Similarly, there are two acceptable plurals of pegasus: pegasi and pegasuses. I use pegasi.
VastaKustutaI prefered the last issue, largely because I could read the font.
VastaKustuta*sigh* Curse these fonts, they drive me to drink.
I had to zoom in so far that I got to Pegasuses and I was thinking
VastaKustuta(raisins.jpg) *****! It's pegasi!
Oh...
(badpokerface.jpg)
Lol, I enjoyed this x3
VastaKustutaI expecially liked the article on Fluttershy.. Mind controlling stare indeed.
Equestria Inquirer?
VastaKustutaEI?
No wonder that "ei" symbol always pops up in pony episodes...
While Pegasus does derive from the Greek, our word comes from the Latin derivative Pegasus. While obviously it is a proper name and doesn’t have a plural form, I believe that Pegasus in Latin is a second declension masculine noun in which case the nominative plural would be the same as the genitive singular Pegasi.
VastaKustutaIt’s been a while since I’ve done any Latin though so correct me if I’m wrong
I like the new format, and the Derpy article was hilarious, but I still don't consider this non-fanfiction.
VastaKustutaMade my day dude, made my day...
VastaKustutaThe correct plural of octopus is actually octopodes, but nopony uses that. The next most correct is octopi because it uses Latin which is really fucking close to Greek, and because it sounds at least 100x better than octopuses.
VastaKustutaIf we follow the same rules for pegasus, it would go pegapodes > pegasi > pegasuses.
In short, just say pegasi.
