So, I'm pretty sure we're actually a bit late to the party on these, but what the hay. Everypony loves colorful math cubes, we might as well complete the whole set, right? Normally I'd have more to say, but I hate Rubik's Cubes. Like, a lot.

ReplyDeleteI would send the cube and not Luna.
ReplyDeleteI was expecting trollestia and was disappointed. still awesome though.
ReplyDeleteGod yes, I love these.
ReplyDeleteMore, keep making more!
Hm, I have seen a different version of the Luna/Celestia one.
ReplyDeleteAnd that one had Trollestia :/
I lol'd SO BAD at Lyra's comic

ReplyDeleteLyra's robo hands are AWESOME!!! XD
ReplyDeleteLyra's solution has me in stitches, fucking amazing.
ReplyDeletePoor, poor miss Cheerilee Jamboree.
ReplyDeleteThe teacher is one of the most likeliest ones we hoped would be able to solve it in eight seconds.
Some people dedicate their lives to solving those cubes and can do it blind folded, upside down and underwater... all at the same time.
Hum, imo, celestia is just saying that in front of the pony guard ....
ReplyDeleteLyra. You so crazy.
ReplyDeleteBecause Celestia is a nice and kind pony and the trollestia stuff is nothing but slander.
ReplyDeleteLyra... you... *facehoof*
ReplyDeleteVinyl, I am disappoint...
and poor Twilight...
Ok, that's enough ellipses. Funny comics.
I fully support the Gummy/Pinkie Method, in fact I'm trying it myself right now.
ReplyDeletelmao love these!
ReplyDeleteWhen did Lyra wanting hands become canon?
ReplyDeleteIt isn't canon?
Then why, bronies?
Equestria Daily
ReplyDeleteY U NO compile these into one post
I request more ponies with colorful cubes NAO!
ReplyDeleteThank Celestia!
ReplyDeleteRubik's Cube Ponies without those guidelines on their faces!
Worth noting that it's about time that someone did Celestia's character without nodding to the Lunar Republic.
ReplyDeleteI love it when you stay true to the show.
Whoa. Doctor Whooves knows about commutators. Sweet.
ReplyDeleteThe perfect ending to an awesome comic series!
ReplyDeleteHeh, I'm still good at Rubik's Cubes... :-)
ReplyDeleteI think top part of Twilight's head is missing at Wonderbolt's frame, past the binoculars.. still I love these comics! Oh, Lyra... *giggle*
ReplyDeleteSeen the first one already. Though Luna shouldn't be sent to the moon for being her smart cute self.
ReplyDeleteSecond one is cool. A bunch of ponies trying to solve it. Poor Twilight. Everyone knows shes smart and thus can solve it fine. :P Like Trixie in the background too. And poor poor Cheerilee. lol
iv'e never seen such a happy luna face before. :)
ReplyDeleteWas expecting Trollestia, I'm glad I was wrong.
ReplyDeleteAwesome comics, now I must go find one of my rubik's cubes and solve it lol. Off to the basement!
ReplyDeleteIm happy they found another solution besides trollestia, trollestia is an overused, sucky joke and im glad its not in this
ReplyDeleteI love Luna's tongue sticking out...
ReplyDeletelol, I somehow get the feeling the good doctor has been asked to solve one a few too many times as of late.
ReplyDeleteYou left out Gilda.
ReplyDeleteAGAIN!
AND YOU LEFT GRIFFONS OFF THE POLL!
Why Seth, why?!
Lyra was simply hilarious in that... I couldn't stop giggling!
ReplyDelete"Everypony else"?
ReplyDeleteAwww... does this mean it's over?
@KShrike
ReplyDeleteIt fits with Vinyl having a radio show with Octavia and the hourglass pony coming down with a case of British super-genius. We have kind of run out of canon to work with.
Come on... No source AND no compilation post? These Rubiks comics ARE RELATED and it's annoying to have to dig for them in separate posts. I'm missing 13 and 14 and have to dig now, and since no source is included in this post. I STILL have to dig for another one and hope the source. Now I gotta dig for two missing comics.
ReplyDeleteI DO LOVE these though! :D
@Luke
ReplyDeleteWhy, thank you for your support.
It is a disheartening thing to see that there are some ponies who think of me as nothing but a ruthless dictator who takes great joy out of tormenting my little sister, or wishes to create such dreadful stories in attempts to have me dethroned.
@KShrike
I have never heard of this 'Lunar Republic', but I can bet that it's something my dear sister created on the moon to pass the time: creating an country to rule as a fair and just princess.
@richfiles
ReplyDeleteI drew these, and I can help you with sources. Here's the link to the first one:

(Yeah, it's on FurAffinity, deal with it, haters) :}

Lyra...
ReplyDelete*facehoof*
To think this all stemmed from a simple bench...
Lyra is a human officially a meme now
ReplyDeleteLyra has... artificial robotic hands... right.
ReplyDeleteThis needs to be canon.
Man this entire series ROCKS!
ReplyDeleteThe second day in a row where you've completely negated griffins from parts of the site. I'm disappointed.
ReplyDeleteNow I want to see a new series: "Give a pony a Hellraiser puzzle box"
ReplyDeleteI tell ya i'll solve that darn cube just you wait and see!
ReplyDelete@Pacce
ReplyDeleteI sent that one in the email of these to him, I'm not sure why it was left off :(
@kinkyturtle
ReplyDeleteKT, I gotta say, I love these!
I love the first comic
ReplyDeleteI'm happy about that interpretation of Luna and Celly.
ReplyDeleteAnd I like that second comic. A lot.
The Pinkie panel is absolutely perfect. Lyra is happy, and it's great. The doctor funny (because he's so frustrated with them lol). Vinyl's character is so becoming of her. And the Wonderbolts are awe~some.
Kloudmutt already has a head start on that front, Vermillion.
ReplyDeleteDaww @ happy Luna xD
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it's too late to slip a cube onto a shelf in the background of a Season 2 episode?
ReplyDeleteThese are all awesome.
ReplyDeleteThe Wonderbolts reminded me of this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuNOvlqJ1IU
Cheerilee: you're from the 80s! You should be able to do this!
ReplyDeleteI finally figured out what's up with these comics. As it turns out Hasbro sells Rubik's Cubes. This is a clever ploy by the company to use My Little Pony to move other products produces by them. Well played, Hasbro. Well played.
ReplyDeleteThe second was definitely the best Rubik's Cube ponies produced as of yet.
ReplyDeleteHappy Luna is happy!
ReplyDeleteAlso Handy Lyra is happy, too.
Lyra wanting to be human stems from her sitting on a bench human style in the show. I'm not sure if she behaved any other way like a pony wanting to be human in canon, but fandom turned her almost into the pony equivalent of a furry. (Smoothie? ShrugIduuno..)
There are pictures of her running only on her hind legs during winter wrap-up and wishing for hands. (And one picture of a human Lyra sitting pony style on a park bench much to the embarrisment of her human friend.) Usually, the comments include variations of the phrase 'Dammit, Lyra!' But despite it all Lyra never gives up on her dream. That is why Lyra is one of the best fandom charactarized background ponies.
@kinkyturtle
ReplyDeleteThese have all been just absolutely fabulous. And thanks for giving us your FA link because I had missed a few!
Lyra with the Robo-Hands wins the comic. Keep it coming! More!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see them solve a bigger rubix's cube, or one of those rubix hexagon's, or even that mirror rubix's cube, where the objective is to reassemble it into a cube form
ReplyDeleteYou know where else they have rubix cubes?
ReplyDeleteFor those who are looking for Gilda: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6367105
ReplyDeleteLyra's using robohands. AWESOME. XD
ReplyDeleteThe Radio thing= Watch "The Vinyl Scratch Tapes"
ReplyDeleteIt's a really good fanfic
And then shortly after Luna told Celestia how to do it she became Molestia, raped Luna, and then sent her to the moon
ReplyDelete
