This is a beautiful comic, normally comics don't make me feel anything when I read them but this managed to make me feel happy and sad at the same time.
These brony artists seem to have a thing for tugging at our heartstrings. And to think it's a lighthearted show about brightly colored ponies that spawned such things that can bring men to tears of heartfelt emotion. Truly this fandom is... magic.
Rainbow Dash. She had a life others could only dream of having. Great friends, so many adventures. Others will look on her life and be uplifted just by knowing that such a life was lived. Truly a legend of her time. She will always be remembered.
i cried tearsw :D, i loved it, this is the third comic that made me cry, heres first:http://www.equestriadaily.com/2011/08/comic-fluttershys-origin.html and second:http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2011/169/6/7/artist_training_ground_day_23_by_egophiliac-d3jag0t.jpg
Man, this got me all choked up... but then I started to overthink it and I totally killed my own mood :(
Now I can't tell if she's fondly remembering her glory days as a Wonderbolt, or if she never made it and is simply reminiscing about all the dreams she once had as a filly. It's very touching either way though.
@Brunitop Why, Brunitop, why! I was already teary from this but now it's a full on bawl. The ability these bronies have to inspire emotion is just one of the things I love about this fandom.
Awwwww, little filly RD. So so darn cute! But also, awwwww elderly RD at the end admiring her old Wonderbolt suit made me sad. But I'm so very glad she's smiling at the same time. She's obviously led a happy and full-filling life and enjoyed her time as a Wonderbolt. Very nice and endearing comic. :')
at first i was all like d'awww tiny dash is adorable. then i was all like OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH she got accepted yay! Then i was all like woah bittersweet ending is full of emotions that i was unprepared for. curse these ponies they cause me too feel emotions that i don't want to acknowledge. and no im not crying there is something lodged in my eye. a bird... yes a bird has lodged itself into my eye and that is shy it is watering. yes.
You have the fire in your heart that can't be put out so easily....gotta respect anypony who has that kinda spirit and determination to see her dream through to the end!
That was adorable, then awesome, then MORE awesome. Who was the missing man formation for, though? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Missing_man_formation Silly overthinking...
@Anonymous Stop, I'm already emotional, can't take anymore. Capacity reached...
that was just so great. last panel with old dash was like a punch to the emotional jaw. She shall never age however, or die young (never, ever read the fic Tales. if this makes you cry, you are doomed the moment you hit fucking chapter 8)
The only way this could have been more affecting for me would have been to see a little pegasus filly with Dash in that last panel, looking at her with an obvious "And I'll be one too when I grow up, gramma."
"Oh, this is a pretty cool comic. I wonder where it's going though? Oh, She's grown up now. Aaaww! she gets to be a WonderBolt! Way to go Dash you followed your dream-" *last panel* O.O -.- O.O *emotional punch to the gut*
Bittersweet mortality why do you taunt us with your beautiful entropy?!?
This comic derives so many emotions. Everywhere from happiness to sorrow. When I first saw it, I thought of how Rainbow Dash achieved her dream, and is reminiscing about it, being very proud of her life, and sad that its almost over, and those days are over. Then I reviewed it a second time, and that's when it truly struck me, I thought of myself in her situation, and that brought a tear to my eye. The thought of everything that I'm doing trying to achieve my goals in life is just going to be a faint memory, something to look back upon. Then I felt motivation, thinking that I want to have happy memories of my life, and I want to achieve my goals / dreams in life, so the memories I have as an old person are memories I can be proud of. Overall this was an amazing comic, and It is going with my pony picture collection, something I can look back at. Sorry for this ranting post, I just was posting what ever was on my head, and I sometimes go off in tangents when I'm typing something like this, also I didn't reread this post before posting, so I'm sure I went off topic (as I am now) So blah. /shrug
Sethisto a furry? Gee, seriously? So are most of the Bronies I know, what's your point?
Also, you know, it's kind of prudent for a guy who runs a site that posts alot of pony stories and art to have an account where alot of pony authors and artists post their stuff. Just saying.
I remember when I had dreams like that.... All I ever wanted to do was fly. AIR FORCE, mah dream! The freedom, the exhilaration of flight. And then my vision went to hell.... I know what it is like to have that dream and have it be swept out of reach. *Manly tear* Woe is me...
Strong, heart-stabbing images. Emotion is a powerful thing, and even though I didn't cry at this; simply just seeing Rainbow Dash remembering those very memories of how the artist interpreted is simply...wow.
Well, that did it. Since joining this fandom, I've read multiple sad fics, seen plenty of heartbreaking fanart, watched sad pmvs, etc. Each time, even if I really felt something, I always managed to keep myself in check.
This finally broke me. I cried. RD is my favorite and this just...God. I dwell on life and death a lot, and this just hits really close to home. My hats off to Capt-Nemo for making this, it's just beautiful, plain and simple.
I went through the posts 'sethisto' made via that link provided.
Here's what I have to say:
Sethisto must be the most tame (excuse pun) furry out there if that is him. A vast majority of his posts are about MLP episodes (trying to get people to watch it), or talking about drawing better, or talking about blogs.
Aside from stating that he enjoys games where there are characters that are animals, such as in Ratchet and Clank, he hasn't said anything that suggests he's a furry. And the game preference is flimsy, because enjoying games like Ratchet and Clank doesn't make anyone a furry, if it did, then I'm sure all of us are furries for playing Sonic when we were children, playing Crash Bandicoot, watching Pixar films etc etc.
TL;DR version: If Seth really is a furry, then he must be a very boring one if the furry-haters are to be believed. Go cry moar.
@Anonymous Yes. Okay. We get it. You idiots have been spamming pretty much every fucking page on EqD with the "HOMFG SETH IS A FURRY WATCH OUT GUYS" (and honestly evidence seems to to indicate, if that's the case, he's not exactly the most wild one out there). Even if Seth is a furry, we don't give a shit. We really don't. Zero care. He could be sexually excited by, I dunno, rocks shaped like Ts and it wouldn't matter.
Is my experience on EqD in any way affected by whatever the hell Seth or Cereal or Phoe happens to like or dislike? No. My life isn't going to improve or lose some kind of inherent value based on what Seth may or may not clop to.
This fandom won't become better or worse from whatever the hell he enjoys. Last time I checked, you literally have to be told about EqAD to know about it (hell, I didn't know it existed until two weeks ago, when the dating sim shit started) and there's pretty much nothing suggestive anywhere on the site itself, bar some fics which toe the line a bit.
Holy shit. It's like I can't post in any of these comment threads without idiots like you spouting this crap. Ceaselessly. Endlessly.
tl;dr stop spamming up every fucking article about how offended you are that Seth goes on Furaffinity, and how you're "warning" us all. Because by and large we really just cannot give any fucks.
So the cute cashier at your favorite store finishes scanning your monthly supply of Ramen or whatever. You pull out your money to pay, but you're frustrated because you have to break a twenty for some silly amount of change. Just before you summon the courage to deal with it, the cashier winks at you with that special language of kindness only eyes can express, and the total on the register disappears with a few taps of the keyboard. Stunned, you pick up your things and awkwardly wave at the kindest person you've met all day, and then you lose your breath for several minutes after the cashier's ex rams a fist into your gut.
Metaphorically speaking, that's exactly what happened to me while reading this comic.
This is extremely weird, on how close the situation is to mine. Replace Dash with me, and the Wonderbolts with the Green Berets. Unbreakable commitment is what is needed to achieve your goals. "Remember my name, for at the end of the day, I'll be the one with the Green Beret". Very good comic.
... You should be condemned for making us cry happy!!!! Oh my god I cried. Things like this don't usually make me cry!!! I'm going to save this, it's going to be my new backround and everything!!! I'm going to e-mail it, send it in text messages!!! Oh!!! It's going to be viral!!! It should be viral...
Yeah... blame a young man for having insecurity issues at the age of 21. Sucks to be him, huh?
Because obviously, as soon as we all came of age we were secure men, experienced, with zero inhibitions and the ability to score girls and make friends out of our enemies with a gesture. And of course, if one has a problem, it's nothing that alcoholism can't cure, right?
(Also, the post was made over two years ago.)
Sethisto is webmaster of Equestria Daily. Your Troll-argument is invalid.
I've never thought a pony could make me shed a tear, but she did.
Either feeling for her that she is able to live her dream and succeed (or have failed and reminisced as is the majority of negativity), we can put ourselves in her hooves.
How many times in our youth did we idealistically choose what we wanted to be in life? How many of us succeeded? How many of us failed? How many of us lost the idealism and mired in routine?
I guess this comic touched all of us. Some shed manly tears, some felt a tingle in their souls, and some just took a pause for thought.
That, fellow bronies, shows the power of a good story.
Great now I have this image of a crying Raimbow dash telling her mom she finally made it, and her mom breaking into tears and say "I knew you could do it my little rainbow."
Best. Comic. EVER! I thought manly tears were shed when she was accepted... then it showed this was a whole daydream of her remembering it as an old mare. One thing I noticed that I can't help but noticing when I see people draw Dash... her mane color scheme is backwards on the top of her head. It went yellow, orange, red when it's supposed to be the other way... ironically, when she was shown as an elder, the color scheme was correct.
I love this fandom. Comics like this one are the reason why this is the best fandom in the World right now. Well, Tron is also a really good fandom too, don't get me wrong.
I don't see why everybody claims to have cried at this comic. There's no reason to be sad here. Dash got what she wanted, and even ponies must grow old and pass on. She spent her life as she wanted, and clearly doesn't regret any part of it. I'll admit, I may have teared up a little, but the urge to smile was just so much greater. Wonderful comic.
Also, read the comic, at a moderate pace, while listening to the 'Time' theme from the Inception soundtrack. 20% cooler doesn't even come close.
It is hard to find someone with a good head on their shoulder, now days. I'm not going to make this dull, so I'll just generally refer to what you said.
Not that you'll need one, however. for a very good example: People think nothing less if we like this series or not, It matters about what we do to those around us, rather our interests, name ect...
So I wake up in the morning, slightly miffed and angry at things. College. Money. The usual stuff. Wondering if it's all really worth it.
Then I read this.
Tears in my eyes, I am now filled with determination. Nothing will stop me. Thanks, Captain Nemo, for inspiring me. And thank you Lauren Faust and Co., for doing the impossible. For making pastel colored ponies have the potential to be so inspiring to so many. *salute*
Oh god I had such a hard time holding the tears back...This comic is so...god I don't even know! I cried man tears! I never cry, this is simply put the most heart felt and emotional comic I've ever seen.
I was dawwing throughout the comic, then the last panel hit me like a ton of bricks. I'm not joking. It literally felt like that. My chest still hurts.
Oh wow...like a bunch of other people have already said, this comic (almost) brought me to tears. I was all "Daaaw! Daaaw! DAAAAAAW!" and then...*sniff*
It's like watching that opening scene from Up! only you feel much better about yourself when it's over.

ReplyDeleteooowwwww i cried when i saw the last part :)
ReplyDeletewow this comic rules
ReplyDeleteWait, is it a bad end? Or Old Rainbow Dash reminiscing about her Wonderbolt days? Also, Rainbow Dash of any age is so awesome.
ReplyDeleteWonderful job telling the whole thing without words. The last panel really holds a lot of power.
ReplyDeleteThat...was...beautiful!
ReplyDeleteD'AWWWWWWWWWW
ReplyDeleteAwesome comic
ReplyDeleteI'm not crying, I just have something... in my heart. *man tear*
ReplyDeleteBefore ponies, there was nothing that could make this man cry.
ReplyDeletePowerful comic, I truly must say.
Saw this earlier on Ponibooru. It's been YEARS since a comic has come so close to making me actually cry, but I felt this making me tear up.
ReplyDeleteMajor kudos to the artist for telling such a beautiful story without words.
This... This was amazing. I'm smiling and wanting to cry tears of joy at the same time...
ReplyDeleteThis is quite possibly the first time I've taken Dash's Wonderbolt obsession seriously. At it is glorious.
ReplyDeleteI do agree with The Muffin Man.
ReplyDeleteShed lots of tears here :')
That....was beautiful.
ReplyDeleteDamn, that was great.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful comic, normally comics don't make me feel anything when I read them but this managed to make me feel happy and sad at the same time.
ReplyDeleteHow you do that?
A cry fell out of my eye...
ReplyDeletewow. just wow. raw emotion has been plucked, thanks for that. im definitely holding in the tears, not gunna lie.
ReplyDeleteThe life and times of Rainbow Dash.
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot of other stuff that she did, but she lived her dreams.
Can't feel sad about that, but I can feel sad about not having any dreams of my own to follow.
Dang... that was heartfelt...
ReplyDeleteThese brony artists seem to have a thing for tugging at our heartstrings. And to think it's a lighthearted show about brightly colored ponies that spawned such things that can bring men to tears of heartfelt emotion. Truly this fandom is... magic.
Wow...
ReplyDeleteWWWAAAAAAAAHHHHAHAHAAHHH!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletehey! I know what this calls for! A PARTY!!
Rainbow Dash. She had a life others could only dream of having. Great friends, so many adventures. Others will look on her life and be uplifted just by knowing that such a life was lived. Truly a legend of her time. She will always be remembered.

ReplyDeleteThat was so AWESOME! [Rainbow Dash face]
ReplyDeleteDidn't cry or get that emotional honestly, but it was very well done.
ReplyDeleteWow. Truly astounding.
ReplyDeleteHoly crap, that was beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteThat was the most beautiful pony comic. I'm truly at a loss for words.
ReplyDeleteThat was ridiculously well made.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, those vectors where show-production quality. They could be screenshots from episodes they were so perfect.
Absolutely loved the filly dash panels, it should be illegal to draw something that adorable.
I hope there will be more comics like this one with the mane cast.. they seem to be very nice
ReplyDeleteFilly Dash is so cute
ReplyDelete*wipes away tear* Very beautiful comic right there, I would hope this is how things turn out for canon Rainbow Dash.
ReplyDeleteI was just going like this through out this
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12poONY2fQk
Confound these ponies, they drive me to holding back manly tears.
ReplyDeleteI hate this comic because I now have to wipe away tears from my eyes. Death and age make life suck
ReplyDeleteMan, this got me all choked up... but then I started to overthink it and I totally killed my own mood :(
ReplyDeleteNow I can't tell if she's fondly remembering her glory days as a Wonderbolt, or if she never made it and is simply reminiscing about all the dreams she once had as a filly. It's very touching either way though.
Confound these ambiguous endings! I'm not sure if they make this comic unbearable or amazing...
ReplyDelete@Brunitop Why, Brunitop, why! I was already teary from this but now it's a full on bawl. The ability these bronies have to inspire emotion is just one of the things I love about this fandom.
ReplyDeleteSo much emotion illicited. *cries manly tears*
ReplyDeleteSO MUCH DAWWWWWWWWWWW IN ONE COMIC! IT JUST HAS TO HAPPEN, RD NEEDS TO BE A WONDERBOLT IN AT LEAST ONE EPSIODE!
ReplyDeleteAlmost crying here, only one other comic has made me do this... which was a calvin and hobbes fan made one...
ReplyDeleteamazing art quality ;_;
I... I has a sad.
ReplyDeleteI used to hate RDash. But now that I saw this, I really took her obsession into consideration, and it's a lot like one that I have....
ReplyDelete@The Muffin Man Quite right, bro, quite right
ReplyDeleteAwwwww, little filly RD. So so darn cute! But also, awwwww elderly RD at the end admiring her old Wonderbolt suit made me sad. But I'm so very glad she's smiling at the same time. ReplyDeleteFirst comic that's really made me happy and sad at the same time. I was moved by it to say the least.
ReplyDeleteyou want to be mad at life for the whole aging thing
ReplyDeletebut you're happy she attained what she never gave up on
feeling the kind of sad like the Ditzy Doo "Best Mother" comic...
unrelated: excellent art. make moar.
Rock on, Miss Dash, Rock on! <3~
ReplyDeleteYou have the fire in your heart that can't be put out so easily....gotta respect anypony who has that kinda spirit and determination to see her dream through to the end!
We all should love Rainbow Dash!
O my goodness, the pure joy in RD's face at that letter was so powerful I cried, and I was beginning to think I couldn't cry anymore
ReplyDeleteThat was adorable, then awesome, then MORE awesome. Who was the missing man formation for, though?
ReplyDeletehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Missing_man_formation
Silly overthinking...
The vector work is so awesome!!!! *clicks save picture button*
ReplyDeleteEven more awesome backwards.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's just fantastic. If this was a movie I'd watch it many many times.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteI'm confused. does the act of crying cause you physical pain?
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteStop, I'm already emotional, can't take anymore. Capacity reached...
that was just so great. last panel with old dash was like a punch to the emotional jaw. She shall never age however, or die young (never, ever read the fic Tales. if this makes you cry, you are doomed the moment you hit fucking chapter 8)
No crying, but this did strike a chord in my heart. The art's amazing too.

ReplyDeleteI'm not afraid to admit it, I baww'd like a little girl.
ReplyDeleteAh, emotion. My nemesis. One day I will eliminate you permanently.

ReplyDeleteSix star comic if there ever was one.
d'awwwww.... wait.. I...FEEL..THINGS!!!
ReplyDeletewow, I cant believe this one made me tear up at the end. heh..awesome..
This comic made me happy and sad at the same time, but that's just me.
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one who noticed Spitefire never aged? Mortality VS Immortality strikes yet again. Curse you emotional comics!
ReplyDeleteman, that last picture hit me like a truck filled with 2 tons of raw emotion
ReplyDeleteSo, when is the signed picture of Spitfire from? There's kind of a time paradox in relation to the age of spitfire in that photo.
ReplyDeleteExcuse me. I... I need a moment.
ReplyDeleteSeveral ones.
It's nothing. I'm not crying. I just have something in my eye. And my other eye. And my soul.
*cracking noise*
ReplyDeleteWell shit, there goes my heart.
Oh shit... I'm er... leaking... yeah, leaking... out of my eyes.
ReplyDeleteIt's not tears or anything.
they should make this into an MLP:FIM episode.
ReplyDeleteWhat, So Spitfire doesn't age, but Rainbowdash does? Injustice!
ReplyDeleteThis was wonderful. Somepony make a Derpy one where she dreams of becoming a mailpony.

105 ratings and it's still at a perfect 5.0. Eeyup, we've got a winner here.
ReplyDeleteCharming. And the team markings are correct, too... so Dash made Captain.
ReplyDeleteThis struck home ;-;
ReplyDeleteHaiku time:
ReplyDeleteMy eyes see beauty.
Yet the tears, they do not flow.
Pit in my heart aches.

ReplyDeleteWe should probably be worrying more about the fucked up shit seth posts and says on this blog. not whether or not he's a furry.
@DooDawDay
ReplyDeleteThat comment explains my feelings so perfectly right now and it made me feel better with a slight laugh.
Reminds me of the ending of the movie A League of Their Own. Very touching. *wipes tear away*
ReplyDelete*Sniff* I think I have something in my eye.

Sethisto should have been a comedian. How pathetic he is makes for comedy gold

ReplyDeleteDON'T DO THIS TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI just finished the Fanfic Series Spark along with the Epilogue!
...im crying again...damn ponies *sniff*
@TGPFluttershy
ReplyDeleteThat... was exactly what I wanted to post.
DAMN YOU PONIES!!! WHY MUST YOU MAKE ME FEEL!??!
ReplyDeleteAlso, having Sorgens Kammer by Dimmu Borgir playing while reading this makes it about 20% sadder...*sniff*
My little sobbing: friendship is sentimental...
ReplyDeleteConfound this comic and these ponies...
ReplyDeleteNo, I'm not crying. I just got a parasprite in my eye...
I'M NOT FLANKING CRYING, DAMMIT!
ReplyDeleteCurse you bronies!
I d'aaaawed so hard.
ReplyDeleteIT IS SO ON-MODEL, I DON'T EVEN. D:
ReplyDeleteAnd she probably couldn't have done it without the help of her Friends.
ReplyDelete*Cue Pinkie Pie Moment At Celestia & Luna's Reunion*
ReplyDeleteFrom a child’s first impression, to an adult’s successful assimilation, comes an old heart’s warm emanation of a once lived dream... :'D
@Anonymous
ReplyDelete*sigh*
Yeah... blame a young man for having insecurity issues at the age of 21.
ReplyDeleteEither feeling for her that she is able to live her dream and succeed (or have failed and reminisced as is the majority of negativity), we can put ourselves in her hooves.
May the artist be forever lucky and blessed...
Who thought I could still cry on an hour's sleep?
ReplyDeleteAt first I was like this is way too goddamn happy
ReplyDeleteAnd then I realized Rainbow Dash was old in the last two panels.
Much Better
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteA great post to a great comic. Thanks for sharing, and thanks for the author for so much beauty. *manly tear*
listen to Married life from up to this if you wanna take your emotions for a ride.

How bitersweet...
ReplyDelete*sniff*
Great now I have this image of a crying Raimbow dash telling her mom she finally made it, and her mom breaking into tears and say "I knew you could do it my little rainbow."
ReplyDeleteI'm not going to cry, i'm not going to cry *misty eyes* i'm not going to....*manly tear* ok i'm going to cry but i'm going to cry manly tears
ReplyDeleteThat last panel made it great. I didn't cry, though. I'M TOUGH. Crying is reserved for that episode of Doctor Who with Vincent Van Gogh.
ReplyDeleteBut that last panel was just so nice. I can't really spell the sound I made. Like a cross between a sad aww and a "that's sweet" aww.
I'm going to be honest...This is the first comic I've seen on here...scratch that, ANYWHERE, that has actually made me cry. Pure, Hard, manly, tears.
ReplyDelete21 years old, US Military.
Major Kudos to you, good Pony.
-Delta-
Excellent comic. I was speechless. It was very deep, I love it.
ReplyDelete*tips hat then takes it off and covers chest in respect*
ReplyDeleteThat is not a teardrop you see there, that is... the essence of pure emotion. I salute you, Captain Nemo.
This definitely stirred up some emotion in me. Which rarely happens with fan made stuff.
ReplyDeleteGreat comic!
Best. Comic.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, awesome Dash comic is always epic!
I cried so many manly tears guys.
ReplyDeleteJust wow.
whycantiholdalltheseemotions.jpg
THE MAN TEARS WON'T STOP FLOWING!!! D:
ReplyDeleteOh my, that was something special. I love stories that end when the character is looking back when they're elderly.
ReplyDeleteAnd then there were tears. Manly tears.
ReplyDeleteI love this fandom. Comics like this one are the reason why this is the best fandom in the World right now. Well, Tron is also a really good fandom too, don't get me wrong.
Last Picture made me so saaad
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful summation to a beautiful comic. *brohoof while crying manly tears*
While reading the end, i couldn't help thinking about Rainbow leaving her friends to become a wonderbolt. I had a manly breakdown at that.
ReplyDeleteBest comic ever of all time. really gave me that warm fuzzy feeling
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteShe doesn't have to leave her friends to join the Wonderbolts! Jeez! Why does everyone always think that?
man every time i think about it i get choked up and cry a little bit
ReplyDeleteI d'awwwed massively hard at the last panel. I was half expecting it to be a dream or something, but it was nicely done.
ReplyDeletethe only thing was that old dash didn't strike me as...quite right. She looked more saggy than old. can't explain.
ReplyDeleteAlso, read the comic, at a moderate pace, while listening to the 'Time' theme from the Inception soundtrack. 20% cooler doesn't even come close.
Wow... I'm speechless, such work makes the magic of the fandom :sadrainbowdash:
ReplyDeleteWhy do people insist on drawing ponies grow old? It's unpleasant. Great comic otherwise.
ReplyDeleteMemories... Make me want to go back there, back there.
ReplyDeleteMemories... Make me want to go back there, back there.
Weezer.
Fits this pretty well.
@Altercation
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to find someone with a good head on their shoulder, now days. I'm not going to make this dull, so I'll just generally refer to what you said.
Not that you'll need one, however. for a very good example:
People think nothing less if we like this series or not, It matters about what we do to those around us, rather our interests, name ect...
You know where I'm getting at.
yup. this is just fine by me
ReplyDeleteBest. Comic. Ever.
ReplyDeleteI has a sad now. Good comic, though!
ReplyDeleteit has sad ending, but I love it
ReplyDeleteNow I has a sad :'(
ReplyDeleteThis could be official. As far as I'm concerned, it is.
ReplyDeleteThis just filled me with warmth, she looked so satisfied and happy in that last panel. I hope that I will be able too look back at my life like that.
ReplyDeleteSo I wake up in the morning, slightly miffed and angry at things. College. Money. The usual stuff. Wondering if it's all really worth it.
ReplyDeleteThen I read this.
Tears in my eyes, I am now filled with determination. Nothing will stop me. Thanks, Captain Nemo, for inspiring me. And thank you Lauren Faust and Co., for doing the impossible. For making pastel colored ponies have the potential to be so inspiring to so many. *salute*
D'awwwwwwww
ReplyDeleteSo freeking adorable
Made my girlfriend cry.
ReplyDeleteThis made me cry happy tears.
ReplyDeleteAlso, part of me really wants to see the adventures of Gramma Rainbow Dash.
you guys are gonna make me explode from the cuttiest!
ReplyDelete*crying* i want a fanfic of this!
-the little pony (jelly)
As emotional as this comic is, I always thought that introduction to the Wonderbolts would have been a bit more dramatic. Still, A wonderful comic.
ReplyDeleteOh god, that was amazingly beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI was actually about to (ALMOST.) cry.
Awesome!
That was so incredibly sweet. That last panel was a tear-jerker for sure.
ReplyDeleteHa. Kudos for so far the only single pic of Rainbow Dash crying that did not instantly make me want to punsh someone in the face :D
ReplyDeleteOh god I had such a hard time holding the tears back...This comic is so...god I don't even know! I cried man tears! I never cry, this is simply put the most heart felt and emotional comic I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteI doubt anything can top this...ever.
I was dawwing throughout the comic, then the last panel hit me like a ton of bricks. I'm not joking. It literally felt like that. My chest still hurts.
ReplyDeleteOh wow...like a bunch of other people have already said, this comic (almost) brought me to tears. I was all "Daaaw! Daaaw! DAAAAAAW!" and then...*sniff*
ReplyDeleteIt's like watching that opening scene from Up! only you feel much better about yourself when it's over.
I didn't cry, but I came close. This is... D'aww
