ReplyDeleteI've tweaked the countdown to be the same as the EqD one. It was originally going by my guess at what the 9AM Eastern Time was in GMT, but I probably had it wrong.
I think Rainbow Dash's wingboner is a little flacid.

ReplyDeleteAh, it seems the EqD counter doesn't take timezones into account. I've changed PonyCountdown back to how it was originally, so it should be right, within an hour to everyone (as long as your computer clock is correct).

ReplyDeleteThat's the problem - it's basing it off the viewer's local time, when it SHOULD be basing it off the current time in EDT (since the end time is also in EDT).

ReplyDeleteThat's when they'll be done animating all the episodes. The episodes always starting airing while the season is still being completed, so September seems like a logical premiere date.
Especially when the opening two-parter has been completed since the end of Season 1.
The countdown timer has to be made into the September Equestria Daily Banner.

ReplyDeleteThere will be a sticky thread on ponychan's /pony board for the episode probably about a week before it airs. If you look there a couple hours before the show, there should be a few posts with links to streams people set up. Just check there and you should have no problem, as long as the connection is good. It worked for me last season.
