I'm not sure how 4chan's heirarchy runs, but moot was the one that fixed it last time, so moot is probably the one to contact this time. There was even a rumor of an actual /pony/ board in progress a while back, but that apparently poofed.
If you do get banned, and don't know anything about proxies/rotating IP addresses, you might as well hit up Ponychan(Tame) or Fimchan(Clop).
I'm sure it will all blow over again eventually anyway as 4chan mods get bored.

I never go to 4chan, but a good free program to use as a proxy/rotating IP is UltraSurf, just google it. That will get you around the ban.

VastaKustutaAnother way to get around that type of ban is to get a new IP address assigned by your ISP. If you have a router usually it will let you change the MAC address which will in turn assign you a new IP address. (This doesn't work with all ISPs)

this went on for a while, until the mod finally got a single general going. this was soon flooded by people asking about all the bans (who were baned for "meta") and angry /co/ posters who were complaining about all the MLP generals (these people were not banned).
and so it continued, every general being derailed or locked or deleted, and anyone questioning the bans were banned. the whole situation was created and horribly handled by the mod.

The reason I say "one and only one" is that having multiple threads crosses the boundary between what is reasonable (despite the fact that you get banned for it) and unreasonable. Note that you are allowed to start a new thread if you hit the image limit or otherwise incur auto-sage.

I've been clean from 4chan for about a month. I quit immediately after this incident:

So, a new pony general thread is started. Mods get butthurt that there are 2 "horsefucker" thread on the front page, even though one was a lost cause, technically becoming a CP thread. So everybody posting in the new thread gets slapped with a ban.
Then I discovered EQD and /r/mylittlepony. Never went back.
I will never understand how "x is a furry" is like the worst insult people can come up with.

You report this as if we (the EqD readers) actually SHOULD post on 4Chan, lol. We've got plenty of outlets to waft in fanatic love. It made sense for MLP to become the subject of many image macros there at first, and it makes sense that it got oversaturated and the mods had to lay down some ground rules. But now we have ponybooru and ponychan, as well as dozens of #Groups exclusive to the deviantArt community...4Chan may have been the origin of many bronies and is owed a lot of credit for putting MLP in its current meme status, but now that the fandom has this momentum, the fandom can survive quite healthily without 4Chan.

Not to mention he basically invited meta-posting because of his inflammatory comments and, of course, deleting or locking threads with no real provocation or response to our questions as to what was done wrong.
I'm sure that, if anything, it was a new mod who was jealous that he didn't get a chance to do anything to pony threads in February, so decided to whore for attention and wanted us all to suck him off to satiate his sense of self-worth.
It's kinda funny how it backfired; he tried to start the new "Ponyfag Trolling and Genocide" phase so late in the game, but failed horribly because by now, everyone, even the relatively newer individual who arrived after the initial Pony bans, was so used to it by now and knew how to circumvent bans or go to other places.
In the end, nothing worth wasting your breath over. These matters come and go, and if it happens again it's not exactly secret knowledge how to overcome it.
It's amazing how quick I read through this thread once I started ignoring all of the anon insult posts.
