We’re ready to go, folks: CLICK HERE in order to submit your t-shirt designs to our My Little Pony contest, in which the grand prize winner will receive $1000 in cash! (URL for submission page: https://www.welovefine.com/contest.php?id_contest=2)
Things to remember before submitting (or re-submitting, if you emailed designs in previously):
- Artwork should be 1000px wide max with a file size of no more than 1MB. Please format as JPEG. Files that do not meet these requirements will be disqualified from the contest. (These are strictly for voting purposes; if your art is selected, we will be in touch regarding original files at a later date.)
- We will only accept FIVE submission per user; attempts to submit more will be rejected, so if you’re prolific, only submit your strongest art!
- Once you have submitted your art, you will not be allowed to delete it and replace it with a new design.
- You have until July 18 at 11:59 p.m. PST to submit!
Go for it, and good luck everyone! Thanks for submitting your stuff again!
Team WeLoveFine
As I have stressed before, these guys are the only officially licensed merch producers that are focusing on us specifically. Their original designs were met with mixed reviews, which is probably the reason why they are putting a thousand bucks up for grabs to improve. If Hasbro see's how successful a side business is when focusing on our demographic, it's only a matter of time before they start doing it too!
Now someone go create me a Trixie shirt!

Hasbro really needs to get it together.
ReplyDeleteThe Anon above is correct.
ReplyDeleteThe anon's above are correct
ReplyDeleteNo more than 1 MB?
ReplyDeleteDab-nabbit.
Yes all three Anons are correct and Hasbro is really losing some profit for not doing so
ReplyDeleteAlso, a correction: Submissions can only be JPEG format, not GIF or PNG. They sent out an email clarifying this.
ReplyDeleteBetter start stretching my hooves....IT´S DESIGN TIME, EVERYPONY!!!
ReplyDeleteThere are plenty of really talented bronies so I expect at least 20% of the designs will be Rarity-worthy.
ReplyDeleteI just hope welovefine's judging criteria is better than the design ability the showed previously, because lolzorzinternet catchphrases or "a picture and some text" do not make a cool T-shirt.
I have been creating for this contest since the first moment I heard of it. Can't wait to see what others have made and expect awesome things from everyone. Good luck to anyone that submits work.
ReplyDeletePlease no shirts with horribly over-used internet phrases and memes. Blatant examples include epic, ftw and emoticons.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad they have a voting system to decide what t-shirts to use. I'd hate to have perfectly good designs thrown out because some execs thought they were "unmarketable"
ReplyDeleteThe info says it's a 1000 pixel maximum, but the submission page itself says it has to be "at least 1000 pixel[s] wide". What's the real specification?
ReplyDeleteNot gonna win, but who cares?
ReplyDeleteDid somepony ask for a Trixie shirt?

Do submissions need to be original artwork? Or could I reuse stock vectors in some clever way?

ReplyDeleteIt says in the rules that it can only be artwork you yourself created.
.JPG? Gross. Talk about image distortion. .PNG is where it's at.
ReplyDeleteSince I'm not 18 and don't live in the US, someone submit my design for me: http://img52.imageshack.us/img52/7900/runcmc.jpg
