ReplyDeleteOh god.
ReplyDeleteWhy is that bear dressed as Hunter S. Thompson?
ReplyDeleteWhat...

ReplyDeleteDress making, easy.
Bill Clinton: Great Brony or Greatest Brony?
ReplyDeleteHarry the bear makes an appearance? I love the author already.
ReplyDeleteNOBODY LOVES ME :(
ReplyDeleteActually, it was the writers for "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" that created that villain. Bill's comment was, "Well, if he isn't, he ought to be!".
ReplyDeleteOh dear Celestia...
ReplyDeleteConsidering the topic this was actually a pretty good fic.
ReplyDeleteMeh, it was okay, if a bit verbose.
ReplyDeleteYes! I've been waiting for something like this. :D
ReplyDeleteLove the ending!!!
ReplyDeleteOh shit.... Krastos is back.... Well back to the bunker.
ReplyDeleteHarry is a true Gentlebeare!
ReplyDeleteThat was just... the best ever.

ReplyDeleteHahaha I couldn't let something like this not resurface in the Brony Community!
@Dave Mustang, the cynical Brony
I didn't draw the picture, but I do enjoy it! Props to @neko-rei on deviantART :)
@A Terrible Person
That's the appeal I was going for: Surprise the audience just enough so that their curiosity drives them to read hahaha. But I'd like to thank you for reading it :)
@Basharoonskis
I know I do too! Thanks for reading, my good fellow!
@Marcoooootje1, Anon 3
I'd say it's a few steps below cupcakes hahaha!

I'd say greatest: He likes ponies AND he hooks up with the ladies! He's got the best of both worlds!
@DSNesmith
Thanks, I love you too! It's bronies like you that drive me to write!
@Chester the cynical grownup

@The Dread Pirate Roberts
That's good enough for me :)
@Anon 6
I like it when people tell me they enjoy my work! Thanks a bundle!
@Homfrog
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but I do appreciate your criticisms!
@Wayde
Hahaha yeah, I'm really surprised I was the first one to jump on the bandwagon!
@Amethyst Air
Thank you! I tried to be as suspenseful as I could, but I think watchers of episode 25 knew how it was to end ultimately, hahaha!
@Silent Solace
That's right: Shit's goin' down!
@Yuri
I know! That's what I loved the most about writing his character: He's just such kind-hearted soul!
@Shouting Ryan
I am truly humbled to receive such powerful praise on my work! Thanks a million! I love bronies like you!
First thought: KRASTOS YES. Second thought: HARRY THE BEAR ARE YOU KIDDING ME. So, my interest is piqued!
ReplyDeleteUmm, so why would Celestia kidnap a bear? I'm pretty sure she could just ask him to come along, it seems remarkably out of character. Absolutely nothing she's doing in this opening scene makes sense.
This is not doing anything for me. Harry's a decent character, but the story's taking too long to go anywhere and the writing's a little pedantic, what with carefully explaining everything and all. Except, you know, why Celestia kidnapped a bear and then dropped him in the Everfree instead of just ASKING him for help. Not even trying to ask!
The "chicken goes into the forest" plot has already been done. Same chicken, even.
I can't finish this. The writing is setting my teeth on edge. The story just needs to be completely rethought, in my opinion. I'm sad that this is the first attempt at making Krastos a fanon staple.
As soon as I saw that Harry's cave was more like a house, I laughed. And then I read. And I laughed.
ReplyDeleteAnd any story with Elizabeak has to be a good one.
@The Dread Pirate Roberts And Lauren Faust agreed with him.
ReplyDeleteI love how well-read and educated Harry sounded. Man, this was awesome!
ReplyDeleteFinally got around to reading this (I was busy when I made that first comment, but i did fulfill my promise!), and it was... well, decent. It could use some editing, and a few parts could probably have been rewritten. I still enjoyed the story immensely, though, even with those faults. Mad props for using Krastos and Harry both in a story.
ReplyDeleteWHY IS THIS NOT 6 STARS.
