Do I hear spam coming on?
VastaKustutaUmm, I am deaf. How I talking with y'all?
VastaKustutaYou should set up a Teamspeak 3 server, not many people use Mumble :O
VastaKustutaAbout time someone opened a mumble server. Just sayin. Also, Alot of linux users use mumble. But who cares about linux right? Its not like they are taking over the world via cellphones and servers.
VastaKustutaIf only it was Ventrillo or Teamspeak. I really don't need ANOTHER chat client. x-x
VastaKustutaYou know, there's been a brony mumble with details available on ponychan for over a month now.
VastaKustutaFilly has a mumble too.

VastaKustutauhhhhhhhh..... nah!
OH GOD, now we're gonna get spammers xD My Pony Is Ready
VastaKustutaIf only I weren't so damn introverted...
VastaKustutaI'd come and spam cliche and overused memes if I bothered with downloading it. I still might.
VastaKustutaHeck. Cheers Seth. Within like 20 minutes, I'd spoken to more new bronies than ever! Cheers dude :).
VastaKustutaBest Fluttershy impression ever on that server, I swear.
VastaKustutaDon't know why people are reluctant to download Mumble. It outperforms TS and Vent any day.
Um.....So what is Mumble? I sound stupid, don't I. But I seriously do not know what it is.

VastaKustutaI just don't see a need to reinvent the wheel. Vent is perfect, and has been for the past decade.
It uses an incredibly small amount of resources, and runs butter smooth in the background even with 50 people in one channel. It's been around forever and everyone has it.
Now like 5% of the population uses Mumble and another 5% uses Teamspeak, it's just silly. As someone said, I don't wanna have to install 3 chat softwares when I have been using Vent just fine for over 7 years.
Why reinvent the wheel?
doesn't work for me.
VastaKustutaTS and Ventrilo both work fine for me. For Mumble I just get "Failed Server Connection, the Server closed the Connection. Reconnect.

If you ever wanna communicate with someone in Germany you will have to use TS. No one over here uses Ventrilo.
Which is a shame, really, because I myself prefer Ventrilo over TS by a longshot. Sadly it never became the standard over here like it did in the US.
ok, got it to work.
VastaKustutaMostly folks who can't configurate their audio input or have shitty microphones. There's a reason I prefer my own voice server and only use it for only gaming where I can kick people for not configuring their shit right.
If there is one thing I'm touchy about then it is noise. I really can't deal with this, which is a shame, because it's a fun idea. But not with that sound quality.
can any pony make a shortcut to it? i cant find it in the servr place

VastaKustutaNot sure if serious, but Mumble is opensource, so unless Ventrilo or Teamspeak went opensource, the wheel needs reinventing. Mumble is also very good for features and quality.
Mumble is better than Ventrilo.
VastaKustutaI did post a comment about the multitude of reasons why I chose mumble. But it didn't seem to post.
VastaKustuta1) Audio quality is far higher than Teamspeak and Ventrillo.
2) Administration privileges, group and channels are more flexible.
3) Check Ventrillo's terms and conditions. It is not meant to be used by any citizen of a country which the US has a trade embargo on. I.e. if your country doesn't get on with the US, it can place you in murky waters.
4) It can be more bandwidth friendly.
5) It has more features, such as a game overlay and text to speech.
6) Slots are usually cheaper for Mumble Server (however that doesn't concern me as I'm privately hosting mine).
