Celebrating Starcraft II's birthday, Blizzard has added a bunch of videos to their official Starcraft blog. You can't have a starcraft compilation without ponycraft though!
You can find the site for it here. I'm pretty sure EQD's traffic compared to the actual Starcraft Website is like a senior center magic show versus a Lady Gaga concert. If people haven't seen pony yet, this is where it will happen.
I'll toss the embed after the break too!

Just as planned.
ReplyDeleteMY LIFE FOR LUNA!!!
ReplyDeleteAh, the video that originally got me into ponies so many months ago :D
ReplyDeletePonies. Ponies everywhere.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteSame with me. Statistics show that PonyCraft 2 is the most powerful conversion tool we have in our disposal. Let's use it wisely;)
Hey can anybody find my jaw anywhere?
ReplyDeleteI think I dropped it near the pile of blown minds.
We're not just a senior center magic show, we're a senior center magic show with The Great and Powerful Trixie
ReplyDeleteSomepony go tell them that the team working on the pony mod have finished statting the units for MP and are working on the buildings.
ReplyDeleteNot really relevant to my interests, but I though the comparison "like a senior center magic show versus a Lady Gaga concert" was brilliant. I do love a good simile.
ReplyDeleteHell... It's about Time
ReplyDeleteaah...soo much nostalgia...the First video which i came across and shown me Friendship Is Magic...i was like...lol these damn ponies are nuts...
Back when PonyCraft 2 was the best and most viewed pony video of all time...the Trailers are truly what made the pony videos stand out
10TH Of March...basically when the whole pony crazee started invading youtube...PonyCraft 2 was more like a Victory video
Unfortunately, it's in the European region, so I can't comment for whatever reason.
ReplyDeleteNot that it needed it, but it is good to see one of the best fan made pony videos get the recognition that it deserves. One of the few clips that, even after what must be a hundred viewings all added together, still impresses me with how professionally it was put together.
ReplyDeleteI'm also in the boat of the people whose conversion officially started when they saw Ponycraft 2. Awesome to see it get official recognition from Blizzard!
ReplyDeleteI First thought Kerrigan was suppose to be Rainbow Dash due to the goggles and the hair
ReplyDeletewould love to see a remake of it
En Taro Celestia!
ReplyDeleteHell...It really WAS about damn time!
i am yet another person who came from this video... just how many people did this video start on mlp fim?
ReplyDeleteThat video is what got me started. It's really cool to see blizzard post it, especially since so many people view the site.
ReplyDeleteSo we're a senior centre magic show? Neat.
ReplyDeleteBut seriously now, this is super duper awesomerific news! First the Uncharted guy, and now SC2, everything's proceeding exactly as planned. :B
Awwww Yeaaahhhh!
ReplyDeleteIt got me started...
ReplyDeletewell, by now, this post has more comments than theirs
ReplyDeleteYou must construct additional friendships.
ReplyDeleteWhat the diffrence between a lady gaga concert and a senior center magic show? why not a rock concert?
ReplyDeleteThis isn't the first time it was on their blog. It also appeared in Com-link Online #15, way back in March.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, no one takes Blizzard's little blog seriously even though it's directly linked to in the news section in-game. No one really takes Blizzard's community site seriously, period, actually, since it's just full of the worst players whining about stuff and Blizzard asking for feedback so they can completely ignore it.
But it has lots of Day9. Everyone loves day9.
ReplyDelete17 comments on this blog entry so far, 90% commenting on ponycraft.
ReplyDeleteYay.
@Alexstrazsa
ReplyDeleteDidn't the Sykrim-ponification make it into the official blog as well?
I'm not sure i'm comfortable with EQD being compared to a lady Gaga concert, but the SC2 website is defenitely like a senior center magic show...
ReplyDeletefrom their blog it looks like Equestria daily either has a larger user base or a more vocal one, since that post has a few comments wheras each non story one here gets at least a dozen comments within an hour.
ReplyDeleteThis one many more.
Am I the only one on the internet that has never played starcraft?
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteI played SC I, but I won't touch SC II until I get all 3 campaigns together for less than $20.
So uhm ponys are going to be the new rulers of our world in the future ? Ehm All Hail Pinky Pie Hurray
ReplyDeleteThis was the video that started me on the path to ruin.
ReplyDeleteBlizzard you like ponies dont you? :c
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteYou're not. But Starcraft is the first modern RTS, is played as a professional sport in South Korea, and if you can handle the control, is arguably still the best RTS in existence.
And then the whole of Blizzard got devoured by ponies!
ReplyDeleteIt was this video that first drove me to be a brony...now it's come full circle.
ReplyDeleteHaha, practically all the comments on that Starcraft page are about Ponies lol.
ReplyDeleteI love how most comments on the starcraft blog are about ponies :>
ReplyDeleteEn Taro Celestia. For Canterlot! FOR EQUESTRIA!
ReplyDeleteIt was the main thing which got me to play SCII. Kudos Blizz!
ReplyDeleteTo quote Twilight:
ReplyDeleteYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have officially hit Blizzard. Ponies can now spread across to the Koprulu Sector. [fltshy]yay~[/fltshy] In other news, I still have yet to buy my own SCII copy. My friend is starting to get mad that I'm piggybacking off him. Oh well.
Starcraft2 is now 20% cooler!
ReplyDeleteI forgot how much I love the SC 2 community... but I think I like the Bronies better. YOU GUISE R AWEOMSE!
ReplyDeleteLove the Day [9] videos! I don't have time to watch all of his stuff. (Even though I don't play much SC2 anymore... I still watch him for some reason o.O)
People with a game account on anything blizzard, send, or leave them a ticket saying something around the lines of "you like ponys don't you, blizzard?".
ReplyDelete... You know, if its not too much...
Very nice. :D So THIS is the herd? XD
