VastaKustutaI checked out his journal, his front page, and the comments on the deviation. The only usage thing I saw was that he said the vectors are free to use, but that doesn't apply to the wallpapers. So I know I can't use it, but I was hoping to be able to beg an exception.

VastaKustutaWallpaper posts are like rare gems on this sight. Everthing else seems to happen too often to really be special. And wallpaper posts never let me down.

VastaKustutaI'm really not in for backgrounds that are too...full. That's the best word I have for it :P
I prefer darker backgrounds with only a few visual elements on it, like a picture in the corner, a non-figurative part on the other, something like that.
Anyways, maybe that's why I like his backgrounds. Very neatly done yet they wont burn my eyes out :)
