Spoilers: I don't actually know how to play Uno. I was taught at one point when I was a little colt and now I have completely forgotten the rules. Actually, I forgot the day after I was taught them. This was all before Wikipedia existed, obviously, so I couldn't just look them up again. Wikipedia can be a fun game in itself, by the way. If you've never played the Wikipedia game, try this- start by clicking on the link that takes you to a random page, and, by only clicking to other articles listed in the page, time how long it takes you to get to the page for Philosophy. Lowest amount of clicks wins.
Anyway, now that everypony is off doing that, I'm proud to roll out these Pony UNO cards. They're all ready-to-print in 300DPI, with each individual card being 56 mm в 88 mm. As you can see by the preview above, you have a choice of five ponies. Each is a complete deck.
Credit for these goes to The Owl, who hangs out on Ponychan. Go find him and thank him!
You can find all five sets in a ZIP file, hosted here.

This is a thing that Hasbro should actually make. I love Uno.
ReplyDeleteI thought the wikipedia game was where you tried to get to the article for hitler.
ReplyDeleteThe real Wikipedia game is a race to get from a specified starting page to a specified ending page either quickest or in the least number of clicks.
ReplyDeleteNice, I haven't played Uno in forever. Time to start again.
ReplyDeleteWho doesn't know how to play Uno? You led a deprived childhood, sir
ReplyDeleteWhy lack of twilight and rarity? And Applejack's orange is a bit too brown. Other than that though, neat. or how about a set with all of them?
ReplyDeleteIs that last one Trixie? If it is what is she doing there, I'd prefer one of the main ponies like Rarity or Twilight
ReplyDeleteAwesomeness! I haven't played Uno in a while, but it's definitely the best card game I've played with a deck that isn't just standard playing cards.
ReplyDeleteI think I'll check these out. That Trixie deck seems intriguing.
~Dark~
Trixie being the draw four card is amusing, especially with that smug grin. She just knows that she's ruining someone's chances at winning the round.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome. Going to print them out soon.
ReplyDeleteI notice that Pinkie is the only one that goes partially out of the window... lol
ReplyDeleteI think the colors are a little dull though. But then again, with pony rules, it will probably be complete oatmeal.
If only I had a printer
ReplyDeleteUno! Maaannnn - I played that card game before multiple times. This makes me wanna pick up a new card set, but have it riddled with ponies!
ReplyDeleteNote: These cards are made from Mattel, a competitor of Hasbro. :P
What? Trixie and no Twilight...
ReplyDeleteYou didn't play UNO?
ReplyDeletei love Cereal Velocity and his randomness
ReplyDeleteI was playing Uno Attack yesterday to celebrate evil tyrants dependence day. (Mostly because scheduling would keep my cousins from appearin on the fourth so we celebrated early.)
ReplyDeletePlenty of reversals were had plus wild card victories, I also started a chain of hit the button x2 for up to twelve hits leaving one player with half the cards.
Fluttershy holding her breath.
or
Pinkie smiling with big cute eyes.
Then their's always old reliable Trixie with her 'glowing' confidence.
I remember this game from my childhood ; P
ReplyDeleteNo Rarity? I am disappoint.
ReplyDeleteOh well, 4 our of 6 is good enough, I like all of the mane cast equally
Uno is the easiest card game ever Cereal. Now that it's with ponies, you should relearn.
ReplyDeleteI love how people always give Pinkie small 4th-wall-breaking details when they put her in something.
ReplyDeleteTrixie is so wild.
ReplyDeleteI finished the wikipedia game in 17 clicks. Random article led me to an airport page, which went to canadian forces, that somehow went to UK archaeology which went to roman statues and ended up in Philosophy.
ReplyDelete"As you can see by the preview above, you have a choice of five ponies. Each is a complete deck."
ReplyDeleteCereal, not to bring to light the fact you admitted that you don't know how to play Uno, but that's not actually true. :P The point in Uno is to lay down all of your cards. You can lay down a card if the last card laid down matches either the number or the color of the card that you want to lay down. The complete deck is all of the cards in the zip file, not one of the folders.
This is why I don't post card games!
ReplyDeleteI barely know how to play Blackjack!
That's my favorite Pinkie facial expression, she actually has a very pretty smile :)
ReplyDeleteAlso Fluttershy's cheeks remind me of the scene Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs where they kiss!
@Cereal Velocity
ReplyDeleteYou should learn to play Spoons. Just sayin'.
fun fact:
ReplyDeletebeacuse pinkie pie is a fourth wall breaking pony, notice that she is the only one with her hair out of the frame
>how long it takes you to get to the page for Philosophy.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what kind of Wikipedia game you've been taught, but on /b/ you're supposed to get to Hitler's page.
... YAYYYY
ReplyDeleteFirst the McDonalds merchandise at my place and now this!
Meh, UNO is the only card game I'm good at
I can't even remember how to play Go Fish!
How can you not know how to play Uno? It's crazy eights with the special cards described on the cards.
ReplyDeleteAs for going for philosophy on Wikipedia, try this:
Go to a random article.
Click on the first link in the article that is neither in (parentheses) nor italics.
Repeat until you reach philosophy.
I haven't played Uno in a long time. But, that is going to change VERY soon.
ReplyDeleteMy record is 9 clicks. I was ecstatic.
No Twilight deck?
ReplyDeleteSon, I'm disappoint.
Oh god, Cereal, don't get me hooked on Wikipedia again. It took me 2 years to beat that addiction and I only did it by getting hooked on Tv Tropes, which is kind of like beating a Meth addiction by getting addicted to crack.
ReplyDeleteI could never remember the rules to Uno. Everyone else I knew could remember it easy but it always confused me. I could never figure out Magic the Gathering for the same reason.
I love how all the other ponies are bound inside their circles, except of course, Pinkie Pie.
ReplyDeletePinkie Pie, Breaking the 4th wall everyday.
Meh, should have been different characters for different cards. Like my totally awesome Batman Uno set.
ReplyDelete>5 cards
ReplyDelete>No Rarity, well maybe...
>No Twilight?!
>Trixie
SON; I'M EXTREMELY DISAPPOINT
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteI accually made the vector for Applejack and I think Fluttershy also is mine.
*sadface.jpg*
mfw I fixed the colours for Applejack like.. 2 days ago on my DA page :(
Posting as anon, so heres a proof: http://qsteel.deviantart.com/gallery/30122224#/d3fwr89
Oh wow, it actually got posted up here. I was heavily surprised when I checked Sendshare and 470 people downloaded these! (in before I messed up somehow) Also, sorry for people who wanted to see Rarity and Twilight decks: the Rainbow Dash deck WAS originally going to be a Twilight deck, but I didn't have a decently sized image where she looked forwards saved, and I couldn't find one on google or ponychan either. Plus Rarity is my least favourite *shrug*
ReplyDeleteI took the freedom to complete the set and created a rarity and a twilight sparkle version. and as an extra a foto finish version. they aren't as good as the ones from the owl, but now it's complete. for better artists than me, I put my .psd in the archive.

But Mattel, publisher for Uno, HATES Hasbro.
ReplyDelete*sob*
Well... we wait for a Ponypoly. OR Monopony. Or something along that lines.
*sigh*
Ponopoly, eh? I think I know my next project!
