These were found in a store called "Morrisons" in the UK. I'm pretty sure the FiM brand name has invaded pretty much every aspect of life at this point.
At first, I too was upset that AJ was lacking her hat. But then, I realized that it is rude to eat while wearing a hat, and I have no problem with ponies helping to spread good manners, so I proudly doff my hat to the hatless AJ.
At Morrisons, I will sell them, all my pasta-tastic treats. Hungry bronies, they will buy them, pony pasta and perhaps sweets. And I'll earn a lot of money, for the Hasbro family!
Someone needs to make a comic with Applejack where she's at first mightily flattered that her picture is used to sell food, but when she sees that the noodles are shaped like ponies she's reacting like "Why would you do that?"
It hasn't quite invaded ALL aspects of life yet, I'm a truck driver for a local "beverage" distributor. And one of our drinks is Snapple, I'm waiting to drop the idea that we mark one of our trucks with the mane cast, because I think Snapple and MLP FiM is a good mix!
I would drive that truck with so much pride! I'm still tempted to put a Rainbow Dash sticker on my current trucks windshield.
I WILL TRAVEL ACROSS THE FUCKING COUNTRY UNTIL I FIND A MORRISON'S, AND THEN I WILL SPEND ALL OF MY MONEY OF CANNED APPLEJACK PASTA AND SURVIVE THE NUCLEAR HOLOCAUST BY LIVING OFF THEM.
This is going to date me terribly. I am reminded of the Smurfs pasta that used to be available WAY back in the early 90s. Back when canned pasta came in two sauce varieties. Meat sauce, or cheesy tomato. For me, meat sauce, every time.
It'll probably be sold in most big supermarkets over here with the other heinz stuff. Been looking in supermarkets in hampshire and haven't spotted any yet :-( including big morrisons... Although tescos also sells a wide variety of heinz pasta shapes like thomas, bob the builder and hello kitty so it'll probably show up there too at some point. I'll cheack each week when I need shopping to see if they've arrived yet.

ReplyDeleteI know what I'm eating for the rest of the month!
ReplyDeleteWhats next? Pinkie pie soda?
ReplyDeleteI am going to go into Morrisons and draw a hat on every single tin I find. I will then proceed to buy every tin.
ReplyDeleteAt Morrisons, I will sell them, all my pasta-tastic treats.
ReplyDeleteHungry bronies, they will buy them, pony pasta and perhaps sweets.
And I'll earn a lot of money, for the Hasbro family!

And I know what I'M having for lunch. Oh wait, Morrison's isn't around here. Poo..X(
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they have them in Tesco as well?
ReplyDeleteWhy Applejack?
ReplyDeleteThese are Heinz, so even if you don't live near a Morrisons then Tesco and the rest probably already have them.
Except here in Ireland, where nowhere has anything.

ReplyDeleteSomeone needs to make a comic with Applejack where she's at first mightily flattered that her picture is used to sell food, but when she sees that the noodles are shaped like ponies she's reacting like "Why would you do that?"
ReplyDeleteNow we need /Pinkie Pie/Rainbow Dash's energy drink.
ReplyDeleteSince it's Heinz and not a store specific brand, I assume reports of it showing up in Asda and Tesco's will appear soon enough.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the search is about to begin... the UK invasion has truly begun...
If only AppleJack wasn't derp eyed!
ReplyDeleteI'll be waiting till the blind bags come to the UK so I can display Rainbow Dash proudly next an Eva Unit 1 and Big Boss.
Hard to see it clearly but I can make out Farm, Fluttershy and Applejack as three of the shapes in the can.
ReplyDeleteIf that tastes like apples I think I'd puke. Pasta and apples don't mix well for me.
ReplyDeleteconfound this Heinz using ponies to take more of my money
ReplyDeleteIt hasn't quite invaded ALL aspects of life yet, I'm a truck driver for a local "beverage" distributor. And one of our drinks is Snapple, I'm waiting to drop the idea that we mark one of our trucks with the mane cast, because I think Snapple and MLP FiM is a good mix!
ReplyDeleteI would drive that truck with so much pride! I'm still tempted to put a Rainbow Dash sticker on my current trucks windshield.
I WAS IN MORRISONS JUST YESTERDAY.

ReplyDeleteWait a minute... that's some Hello Kitty Heinz just beside it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it's not always Applejack... but maybe we shall see other Ponies along with it.
I live just a couple miles from Morrisons!
ReplyDeleteGuess where I'll be shopping tomorrow!
*squee*
*spends 10 minutes trying to think of a good joke.*
ReplyDeleteMore reason to shop at Morrisons then! (WORST PUN EVER)
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteThere needs to be a line of energy drinks with all the Mane Cast as flavors.
Pinkie Pie = Strawberry
Rainbow Dash = Fruit Punch (taste the rainbow)
Twilight = Grape
Applejack = Apple
umm...I got nothing for Fluttershy or Rarity.
I WILL TRAVEL ACROSS THE FUCKING COUNTRY UNTIL I FIND A MORRISON'S, AND THEN I WILL SPEND ALL OF MY MONEY OF CANNED APPLEJACK PASTA AND SURVIVE THE NUCLEAR HOLOCAUST BY LIVING OFF THEM.
ReplyDeleteI'm completely serious about this.
